CHICAGO -Chicago authorities say seven people were killed and six wounded in gun violence in one day. Among those killed Saturday was a 34-year-old man whose mother had already lost her three other children to shootings. Police say Ronnie Chambers, who was his mother´s youngest child, was shot in the head while sitting in a car. Police say two separate double-homicide shootings also occurred Saturday about 12 hours apart. In one, a 16-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man were killed.
Makes you want to implement Chicago´s gun control laws, doesn´t it? S/O I don´t know for a fact but I assume the majority of the victims and shooters were black. Until they address the black culture of killing each other it won´t make a bit of difference how many laws they pass.
This is just another example of liberals assigning Jim Crow value to black people. I can´t remember if the value was 2/3,3/4 or 7/8´s of a human but they sure don´t reac tto black killings like they do white. Having affirmative action also admits blacks still have Jim Crow value.
I´m 100% behind black people having equality but it needs to be earned just like with anybody else. White privledge is a liberal myth to validate things like affirmative action or lowering education standards in black schools.
This i sone of the reasons the white and black left hate white adoptions of black kids because they more or less turn out normal. As long as you´re stuck with ghetto parents,it´s a blanket excuse to claim poverty as the reason for your failure.
But of course Zippy, Mooch and Rahm will never bring up this very inconvenient fact for discussion since 95% of the murdered are black..killed by other blacks. Just so untidy when the liberal narrative goes awry!!!!!
Assume that Revrum Jackson keeps a private jet on standby for possible use on any non-Blaque involved with his chosen people. But note that he and Revrum Al won´t lift a finger about the genocide ongoing between abortion and blaque on blaque, even outside his gated community. Oh well, all in the life of a racialist.
Where is the OUTRAGE, yelling and screaming by all these self righteous Liberals, especially Senator Feinstein sounding on those Gun Bans in Chicago? Come on Senator, prove to America that you are not a two faced anti-american hypocrite. I don´t think you have the Ethics, Integrity or Guts to come out from under your desk.
The black race seems to be committing genocide on itself. Between the murders, abortions, drugs, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and other mostly self inflicted problems, they contiue to inflict on themselves, they are a dying race. Hope they don´t think Obama gives a rats rear about them now.
The only real difference between Chicago and Newtown Connecticut is about a month. If all the Chicago killings that happen in a month happened all at once it might be big news, but spread them out over a few weeks and these preening, self-absorbed, disingenuous defecrats couldn´t care less. No siree, not one bit, but pass laws that only impact the law-abiding citizen and you´ve got their interest!
NASA’s steady reconnaissance of Mars with the Curiosity rover has produced another major discovery: evidence of an ancient lake — with water that could plausibly be described as drinkable — that was part of a long-standing, wet environment that could have supported simple forms of life. Scientists have known that the young Mars was more Earthlike than the desert planet we see today, but this is the best evidence yet that Mars had swimming holes that stuck around for thousands or perhaps millions of years. (It would have been very chilly — bring a wet suit.) The findings were being
JOHANNESBURG — President Obama, his predecessor, and the woman who might be his successor crossed the Atlantic together Monday in an example of extended bipartisan togetherness to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela at a memorial service Tuesday. For more than 16 hours, Mr. Obama hosted former President George W. Bush and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton aboard Air Force One — part of a global pilgrimage that is expected to bring as many as 100 world leaders to South Africa. (Snip) On board the presidential aircraft as it flew to South Africa, White House aides said Mr. Obama
Today Politico´s Dylan Byers got tough on MSNBC with two posts calling into question the channel´s journalistic credibility. Byers started the day by going after MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry for something she said over the weekend. Harris-Perry claimed Sunday that the term Obamacare was an attempt by white people to denigrate a black President. Byers pointed out that "Hillarycare" and "Reaganomics" seem like similar appellations and asked, in light of these, how "Obamacare" could be implicitly racist while the other terms are not. It´s not clear whether Harris-Perry responded to Byers´ challenge privately but she did not tweet (or anything
World leaders have gathered in Johannesburg to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela at a memorial service for the former president of South Africa, five days after he died at the age of 95. Barack Obama was pictured arriving after a 17-hour flight from Washington on board Air Force One, during which he rode with his wife Michelle, former President George W. Bush, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton. He has been given a prominent role in the memorial service for former South African president Nelson Mandela - but may face awkward moments if he comes face to face with controversial leaders
Jim Murray, an English writer and one of the world’s top whiskey critics, believes Scottish malt is no match for American whiskey. “Generally speaking, bourbon … has overtaken Scotch,” he said, according to the Telegraph. Mr. Murray, who wrote “Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible,” argues that Scotland’s decrease in quality whiskey is due to the use of sulphur candles to sanitize some barrels that have been used to age sherry, giving it a “bitter finish.” Bourbon, however, is aged in virgin oak casks, which do not require sulphur treatment, the Telegraph said. “The best whiskey is coming not from Scotland any
Brothers Tryon, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, were formally charged Monday in the shooting death of Sergent First Class Jim Vester, 32, after arranging to sell the 12-year military veteran an iPad on Wednesday. According to phone records released by the police, the Indianapolis father wanted to buy an iPad from the brothers as a Christmas present for his parents based off of their Craigslist ad. At 3:05pm, Vester texted: ´Can I get your address´. At 3:14pm, the suspects texted him to meet at 920 Wyckford Dr. Vester arrived at the address at 3:49pm and texted: ´are you here?´ and the
Andrea Elliott, in her NY Times article "Invisible Child," articulates the disheartening existence of a family living on the meager support of government welfare. She invites her readers to look through the eyes of Dasani, the family´s 11-year-old girl. The family has a complex relationship with the welfare programs that both keep them afloat and keep their situation hopeless. Liberals advocate that welfare programs are designed to help the least fortunate and that they demonstrate a society’s compassion. However, sometimes too much compassion by the state can devolve into what recovering drug addicts would call "enabling." Moreover, the "compassionate environment"
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
Just how much do many Hollywood liberals hate conservatives? In an interview with Playboy, Ben Affleck said, "When I watch a guy [on film] I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him": PLAYBOY: You developed a political profile campaigning for presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama. How did that come about? AFFLECK: I grew up in a house with a mother who was a teacher and a Freedom Rider—very left-wing Democrats living in a heterogeneous working-class neighborhood. I picked up a lot of those values there, and I

MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry opened her program over the weekend with a commentary about the Affordable Care Act’s colloquial moniker: “Obamacare.” She said that the word was originally created as a “derogatory term,” designed by white men as a way to delegitimize President Barack Obama and his achievement. However, she said that the term will soon be synonymous with all of Obama’s accomplishments and she urged her audience to use the term with pride. “I want to talk today about a controversial word. It’s a word that has been with us for years, and like it or not, it’s indelibly
