Schools push to ‘disarm the
minds’ of our children

Washington Times [DC], by Robert Small

Original Article

Maryland educators are launching an assault on normal childhood behavior. In Talbot County, Maryland, two boys aged 6 were recently suspended for pretending their fingers were guns while playing cops and robbers during recess. This comes just after another 6-year-old at a Montgomery County school was suspended for the same thing. These suspensions were later reversed, but why are they happening in the first place? They seem to be part of a larger effort to condition our kids to reject guns and the Second Amendment. (Snip) A couple months before Sandy Hook, my son, who is in elementary school

It´s all part of the indoctrination that goes on in our school system. It doesn´t matter if the suspensions were reversed, the damage to the kids going through this was already done.

It won´t matter, since Hollywood and the gaming industry will undo any brainwashing the schools attempt.

I have never killed anyone (having been married twice, for full disclosure I will admit there were moments ...) and I was a tomboy, had a gun and loved playing cowboys and whoever. I had caps but they were a nuisance. It was much more fun to just point the gun and say bang, bang, bang, pow. These people are missing some ´´sensible gene´´ if they cannot figure out where they are going wrong. And it is extremely disturbing that they are making decisions concerning the children of America. This is not good for their future or the country´s future.

This isn´t new. Kids have been forbidden from drawing guns or soldiers or using their fingers this way for at least 15 years now.

Personally, I think this is an over-reaction by the schools, but it is wrong to blame this on Sandy Hook.

I grew up with all the Saturday cowboy shows of the 1950´s. We use to play cops and robbers and cowboys and Indians by the hours. I have never thought of killing someone with a gun.

No more cops n robbers, cowboys and Indians. What remains? Playing doctor. Perhaps they are pushing for this during recess? It goes with their perverted agenda.

So they are taking the directive from the Sec. of Education to make guns scary and bad. They blindly follow a guy who encourages high school students who "think" they might be homosexual young males, to have sex with older men..men old enough to be their fathers. And yet no one seems to have a problem with that? But guns are scary and bad? Wow...

Reply 11 - Posted by: dave29299, 1/27/2013 4:25:33 PM     (No. 9142773)

It´s the ongoing emasculation of boys and men. If a couple girls were playing war, or cops & robbers, they´d likely be left alone. After all, it´s important that we get women into ground combat units, for purpose of full "equality."

In regards to students of all ages, the word "education is a misnomer, the correct word is indoctrination. i. e. liberal propaganda.

Cops and robbers are bad, but if he had worn a dress to school because he was sexually confused, what would have happened ?

See why the kids don´t learn anything to do with basics ?

I am going to say it again because it is so very important...it is NOT "liberalism"...It is Leftism. Leftists do not believe in freedom. Liberals (in the true sense of the word) do. These leftists have been falsely calling themselves "liberal" for years to mislead the public. We should not help them continue this by also using the word to refer to them. They want people to think they are liberal, but they aren´t. Let´s try to call them leftists (and not liberal) from now on. Words are powerful and we need to stop the lies and false propaganda--not contribute to it!

Appearing on MSNBC´s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Wednesday, NBC´s chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd came up with a long list of excuses for President Obama´s poor speech performance in Berlin: "I want to give you a little context here....there was an attempt to shrink the crowd size....Maybe they would have gotten 25, 30, 40,000 people....President Obama feeds off a crowd very well." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Todd then grasped at other reasons for the lackluster event: "...you had that very distracting glass and you could just see that the President

Another Republican Super PAC is jumping into the increasingly nasty Massachusetts Senate battle, going after Democrat Ed Markey’s biggest weakness — his $1.3 million Maryland home. The America Rising PAC, recently founded by Mitt Romney’s former presidential campaign manager, is planning to deliver a letter today to Maryland’s comptroller urging the state to investigate why Markey has never paid state income taxes there despite living in the upscale Chevy Chase suburb for two decades, the Herald has learned. Markey’s residency status has been dogging him throughout his career, ever since the Herald reported in the early 1990s

Los Angeles County coroner´s officials said Wednesday the body recovered from a fiery, single-car crash in Hollywood that apparently killed journalist Michael Hastings will likely undergo an autopsy Thursday. But an official cause of death and closure of the case is not likely for four to six weeks or perhaps longer, they said. Coroner´s officials are hoping the results will answer why the accident happened. Officials were attempting to match dental records to help make a positive identification. The death of the 33-year-old Hastings was announced Tuesday by his employer, BuzzFeed,

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

This is the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of How Democracies Perish, an analysis of the spread of world communism by Jean-François Revel, one of freedom´s most serious French defenders since Tocqueville. At the heart of this work, Revel details "The Tools of Communist Expansion," among which the most relevant for understanding our current situation comes in Chapter 16, "Ideological Warfare and Disinformation." The profound simplicity of Revel´s nuts and bolts account of totalitarianism´s Cold War advance, far from being obsolete
