| Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has some advice for fellow Republicans in the House: Stop reading The New York Times. Sparking applause from the crowd gathered at the National Review Institute’s summit, Mr. Cruz said he is confident that the nation is “on the verge of a rebirth of conservatism” and that the first step in that direction is for members of House GOP to cancel their subscription to the Old Gray Lady. “The next two years of headlines from The New York Times: ‘The Democrats are right, abandoned conservative principles,” Mr. Cruz said.

Thank God for Senator Cruz. As the article says, he has been out there front and center from day one. This is the kind of leadership and PR skill that conservatives need.

Ted Cruz is on a roll. But I wouldn´t worry too much about the NYT. They are laying off senior staff and cutting costs and desperately trying to raise prices. They´re going to do a "Newsweek". It´s inevitable and no one but the Sulzberger family will miss them.

The paper is a virtual font of misinformation. Making matters worse is that 150 other papers across the country subscribe to it for stories so that its propaganda gets spread wide and far.

Dittos poster. Everyone should stop reading the NYSlimes. If everyone stopped watching TV the world would be a better place also. TV is a vast wasteland subverting Conservative principles everywhere you look. TV is poison. I couldn´t even stomach FOX news anymore, it had turned into the Bob Beckel network.
