| Environment: President Obama warned in his second inaugural address of some who "may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science." Is he talking about the former NASA scientists who say man isn´t warming Earth? The most famous NASA scientist is James Hansen, the political activist and expert on the Venusian atmosphere who sounded the man-made global warming alarm at a 1988 congressional hearing. He´s just one man, but the media and the political left have made him out to be an infallible voice on climate change. We live in a society where dissent from the left-wing

I did not know that the Venusian atmosphere is James Hanson´s specialty. Maybe he was looking at temperature changes on Venus and got them confused with changes on earth.

Uhhh, yeah, but determining the truth in science isn´t done by vote-count.
Huge swaths of science are populated by truths that once only one person believed.

The "Science"
Ideologue: I hate capitalism and economic growth. Life would be better without all these horrible humans
Step 1 - take an obvious trend such as the warming of the earth since about 15,000 years ago when there was mile high pile of ice on the spot where Chicago stands today
Step 2: Take a trace element (about 350 ppm) that has fuctuated over the millenia and is either a leading or lagging indicator of general warming
Step 3 : Make unspported claims that this trace element is the key driver of the most recent years of a 15,000 year trend and extrapolate lousy data to show "the end is neigh" if we don´t collapse capitalism and use government power to kill off humans and shorten their life span (through increased diseaase, hunger, abortion and poverty)
Step 4 : Rather than treat CO2 climate forcing as an interesting theory, vilify anyone who disagrees with you and try to create mass hysteria while feeding at the government grant trough
Step 5 : Cash out, retire, move on to the next government funded scam before your crackpot claims are shown for what they are.

Hansen seems obsessed. His main target is fossil fuels, coal, oil, natural gas. And the lesser energy sources such as wood or biofuels.
And the weather data he controls may have been corrupted to support his arguments. That will only be settled by experts in the future when the political quarrels subside. If they ever do.
I do like the fact that he supports nuclear because he does not believe wind and solar can adequately replace fossil fuels. And new designs should end all fears of meltdowns and escaped radioactivity.
So he is not the classic green activist who thinks we can live w/o any risk at all and be sustained by magical energy machines.

Hansen has made a small fortune (not as big as Big Al) on the global warming scam. Everyone needs to post this on Facebook and send it to anyone they know that is still buying it.
I want to know why Hansen still has a job at NASA after Climategate.

If you go to the website for Obama´s new "President´s Global Development Council" you can read articles that clearly state they are inventing GW scare tactics to force nations to comply with agenda 21.
And if GW fails, then they´l move to their next invented crisis ... Invasion from Outer Space! I am not joking... and neither are they.
I´ve recently concluded these idiots will fail because they assume the entire world is Low Info sheeple and only they are enlightened.
Russia, China & India formed an anti-NWO alliance. Oh, they´ll play along to milk free $$ but just laugh at these utopian doped up idiots.

For Hillary Clinton, any gender-related problems she encountered in previous races have been “wiped out,” and her gender would only be an asset if she runs in 2016, writer Anna Quindlen asserted on Thursday. “I think the gender issue as a problem or a deal breaker — ‘Can we have a woman as president of the United States?’ … it was wiped out,” Quindlen said at a talk at the Center for American Progress in Washington. “It was wiped out when she ran and nearly won in 2008, and it since has been even further wiped

On her radio show yesterday, Fox News provocateur Andrea Tantaros mouthed an impassioned defense of journalists against the intrusions of the Obama administration: Let me tell you how people and journalists are being treated these days. They are being stalked, they are being spied on. In Missouri, a news station fired an anchor who talked about the IRS shakedown. Yeah, fired. This is how corrupt the left is. And now, journalists can’t even get into the IRS offices in Ohio, where this alleged scandal started, without an armed guard. This is what is happening to our press.

The week that was as seen through the lens of the one and only Joel Achenbach. Reading the commentary on the IRS hearings, it’s clear that the overriding rule in Washington opinion circles is that the moment someone says they have done nothing wrong is when the presumption of guilt hardens into an incontrovertible fact of guilt, with only the punishment left to be decided. The corollary is that if someone exercises her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, she should be immediately incarcerated. To take the Fifth is tantamount to a confession, even though the actual

TWO RAF jets were scrambled to intercept a Pakistani airliner after two passengers allegedly declared: “We’re going to blow this plane up.” Stunned crew launched a terror alert yesterday afternoon after the men reportedly started a scuffle by trying to force their way into the cockpit of the Manchester-bound airline. The Typhoon war jets flew out from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire and escorted the Boeing 777 and its 297 passengers to Stansted in Essex. Two British nationals aged 30 and 41 — who are said to be of Pakistani descent — were last night being held

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and

The complexity of Washington scandals as they unfold usually involves many moments at which it is possible to lose sight of the forest for the trees. Two such instances have come into sharper relief in recent weeks. One is that we still have no good explanation for U.N. ambassador Susan Rice’s talking points for her round of talk show appearances the Sunday after the 9/11/12 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. A second is that focusing on the question of whether the loss of four lives there could have been

To say that the Benghazi consulate attack on September 11, 2012, has blossomed into a full-blown scandal for Dear Leader Barack Obama and for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be an understatement. Much of the media attention has, rightly so, focused upon the e-mails that contradict statements by White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about talking points revisions. The e-mails show that talking points alterations were instigated by top officials in the Obama administration, as well as from the State Department.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
