| Four days after President Obama pledged to "protect and defend the Constitution," the U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that he violated that oath in making several appointments last year. The court said Obama´s three "recess" appointments to the National Labor Relations Board weren´t recess appointments at all, since the Senate was still in session when he made them. Assuming the Supreme Court upholds the panel´s ruling, all the decisions the board made over the past year will be nullified, since without those three there weren´t enough members on the board to make any rulings at all.

Don´t count on the Supreme Court upholding anything that is Constitutional. They now MAKE law, not interpret law.

John Roberts is going to kill a lot of us thanks to his stupid wrong headed ruling on Obamacare. Should he NOT vote to uphold the Constitution on recess appointments that aren´t recess appointments, he must be impeached. I will not stand for it, and neither should any other citizen.

Remember the courts ordering zippy to stop the drilling ban in the Gulf? How did that work out? The courts have no power over King Barky. He´s probably laughing his butt off while sipping his martini this evening. Courts schmourts.

Three U.S. senators have identified the missing parts of the response to the Benghazi terror attack. In a statement, Senators Kelly Ayotte, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain list "What We Do Not Know" about Benghazi: We do not know whether the President was made aware of the classified cable that, according to published media reports, Ambassador Chris Stevens sent in August 2012, stating that the U.S. Mission in Benghazi could not survive a sustained assault from one or more of the threatening militia groups that were operating in eastern Libya.

THE soldier butchered in broad daylight by Muslim fanatics yesterday has been named as Drummer Lee Rigby. Lee, 25, is a dad to a young son called Jack and served with 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He served in Afghanistan and was today described as "true warrior" by comrades. His family were told the tragic news in the early hours last night. Sources say he is separated from his wife. Lieutenant Colonel Jim Taylor MBE said: “Drummer Lee Rigby was a dedicated and professional soldier." He added: "An experienced and talented side drummer and machine gunner,

Time magazine has finally obtained the smoking gun we´ve been waiting for from Barack Obama´s radical past: senior prom photos. It was 1979, and a 17-year-old Obama wore a white jacket and "sipped champagne" on a double date with his basketball bud Greg Orme ("They were like brothers") and their companions for the night, one of whom leaked the pictures. But the real highlight is the future president´s yearbook note to Kelli, Greg´s girl. "You are extremely sweet and foxy," he wrote in blue ink and respectable cursive.

British police have made two further arrests and searched multiple properties as they widened their investigation into Wednesday´s fatal hacking to death of a British soldier in broad daylight on a busy London street by two Muslim terrorists. The two arrests, of a man and a woman -- both 29 -- on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, raises the possibility that the gruesome attack was not a so-called "lone wolf" killing as once thought. Earlier it had been reported that the attackers were known to both UK authorities and a radical jihadist group well

In a speech today, President Obama is calling for the transfer for Gitmo inmates to the United States. "The original premise for opening GTMO – that detainees would not be able to challenge their detention – was found unconstitutional five years ago. In the meantime, GTMO has become a symbol around the world for an America that flouts the rule of law. Our allies won’t cooperate with us if they think a terrorist will end up at GTMO. During a time of budget cuts, we spend $150 million each year to imprison 166 people –almost $1 million per prisoner.

Talk about art imitating life. I landed upon a classic movie while surfing TV channels. Kirk Douglas played a down-on-his-luck news reporter. When I began watching the movie, a man named Leo was trapped in a collapsed cave. Douglas managed to crawl within a few feet of Leo and was chatting with Leo, assuring the scared man that he would be rescued ASAP. But secretly, Douglas had other plans. Keeping Leo trapped for at least seven days could revive Douglas´s career. He had exclusive access to Leo. Writing daily updates could produce tremendous financial rewards;

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide.There are a lot of numbers out there.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state
