Didn´t We Do Women

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, I need to share something with you here. It´ll be 25 years in August that I´ve been doing this show. And that´s long enough to notice things that you can´t possibly notice in your first five years or even ten. For example, I am now able to see how a whole bunch of things simply repeat themselves, issues, battles, political fights, how they repeat themselves, how a lot of this is just cycled and recycled. I have to confess, when I first became aware of women in combat as a political issue

The more things change, the more they are the same.

If I were a male soldier, police officer, or fire man, I would not want a female partner. I have been against women in combat because I think it endangers male soldiers. Liberals can insist all day long that "some" females are strong enough to handle whatever a man can handle but it is not true.

I give up. Put them on the front lines. Let us have a repeat of that short female who was operating a gun without being able to see what she was shooting at while tall male soldiers stood around. The male soldiers told the reporter that she was doing a great job. They knew how to play the game.

The interviewee cited by Rush says women bring unique capabilities to the table. Men don´t? Apparently they don´t when it´s not convenient. As Rush said; there are some things that everyone knows is true but you offend true believers by mentioning them. Well I watch womens and mens hockey and basketball teams at the college level, and I think I spot some unique capabilities of men such as size, strength, speed, and aggressive nature. Sexual dimorphism is a fact, or do they hush biology professors on this point now.

We´ll see how long this flies once the naked, mutilated bodies of female GIs show up on the Internet.

An ObamaCare Board
Answerable to No One
Wall Street Journal, by David Rivkin and Elizabeth Foley    Original Article

Signs of ObamaCare´s failings mount daily, including soaring insurance costs, looming provider shortages and inadequate insurance exchanges. Yet the law´s most disturbing feature may be the Independent Payment Advisory Board. The IPAB, sometimes called a "death panel," threatens both the Medicare program and the Constitution´s separation of powers. At a time when many Americans have been unsettled by abuses at the Internal Revenue Service and Justice Department, the introduction of a powerful and largely unaccountable board into health care merits special scrutiny. For a vivid illustration of the extent to which life-and-death medical decisions have already been usurped by government bureaucrats,

Flexibility: Obama Gives Away
America´s Nuclear Arsenal

Disarmament: President Obama has proposed targeting cuts in deployed atomic weapons of up to a third below levels achieved in a 2010 treaty with Russia. He wants a world without nuclear arms — specifically ours. Only a shameless politician could invoke the name of President Kennedy in Berlin to announce the nuclear disarmament of America. When Kennedy proclaimed "Ich bin ein Berliner" in June 1963, it was a statement of solidarity with the free people of West Berlin and a pledge of resistance to the tyranny that surrounded it. It was not an act of

In Afghanistan, Obama
Repeating Big Vietnam Mistake

War On Terror: President Obama is practically engineering a silent coup against flawed Afghan President Hamid Karzai, with whom we replaced the Taliban in 2001. He´s copying America´s worst mistake of the Vietnam War. A perfect comparison it may not be, but disturbing similarities exist between the Obama administration´s unfolding abandonment of Afghanistan´s corrupt President Karzai and the Kennedy administration´s betrayal of South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem 50 years ago. Karzai on Wednesday backed out of impending talks with the Taliban after the U.S. announced its diplomats will negotiate directly with the country´s bloodthirsty former rulers.

Obama Rhetoric Matches

President Obama insists his policies are driven by a "common sense" approach. He also speaks in terms of "we the people" and "the government is us." Such declarations are reminiscent of old Soviet posters displayed for all to see: "ALL POWER BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE" and "PEOPLE AND COMMUNIST PARTY ARE ONE." But the real power in the USSR was in the hands of Communist Party leaders. They, in the name of the people, defined foes of centralized government as "enemies of the people." Similarly, Obama´s Department of Homeland Security has defined right-wing extremists as "those that are mainly anti-government,

RUSH: I´ll get to Obama and Germany. There were two things he did in Germany. He had a press conference with Merkel and he had a speech, the Brandenburg Gate. If you remember, in 2008 Obama went over to Germany and he requested at that time to speak at the Brandenburg Gate, and the Germans, boy, they were under a lot of pressure because back then Obama was The Messiah. He was making a tour of Europe on his messianic pilgrimage as part of his campaign. He requested to

RUSH: Hello, folks, and welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program here on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network. Middle of the week, Wednesday. It´s a thrill and a delight to have you with us. It is also a day of really profound heartbreak for those of us who knew the author Vince Flynn, who passed away this morning at 1:50 a.m. Central time at a hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prostate cancer that was discovered too late. I´m numb sitting here today in a state of shock about this.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
