Gingrich Schools Gun-Grabbing
Piers Morgan: ´Isn´t Your Real
View That You Would Ban Pistols?´

Newt Gingrich on Thursday night interrogated the gun-grabbing Piers Morgan, pushing the CNN host as to what his real motives are. An aggressive Gingrich insisted, "So, why don´t you share your real view?...Isn´t your real view that you would ban pistols if you could?" [See video below. MP3 audio here.] The Republican also told the British anchor why the Founding Fathers were able to defeat "your army." Morgan swore that his concern was "the high-powered guns of any variety which can fire 30 or 40 or more rounds in less than a minute."

Today´s musket is the AR-15. Americans are not subjects but citizens. And we are responsible for our own security and destiny.

Newt Nuke-´em!
FTA: "NEWT GINGRICH: And we actually think the Second Amendment is central to our liberties, not just something there for hunters, not something there for target practice, but actually there because the founding fathers remembered that when your army tried to defeat us, luckily, our peasants weren´t peasants. They were citizens. And as citizens, they were in fact armed. And that´s the only reason we were able to win the Revolutionary War."
More of this please.

Too bad Newt had too many "Issues" and too much "Baggage" to be a presidential candidate.

If he could just learn to hide what he really believes and everything else about his history
he might have had a chance.

The truth has set him free.

And we have eaten another of our best offspring.

People like Piers, maroonically obtuse lilly-livered egotistic arsehat with diarrheal mouth and delusion of grandeur, are afraid of anything and everything that can be deservingly deployed upon them.

THAT is the real reason behind the irrational drive for weapons ban.

And that´s the right answer, ladies and gentlemen! Excellent!

New Yorkers can have guns, Piers. ...or they could...

And i think the Founders might have said Yes! to tanks, too. Their concern was the danger of the rise of tyrants.

And, Piers, our "little book" is the greatest guarantee of Liberty in history, even allowing a big-mouth like you to blabber foolishly, leaving no room for doubt about how specious and dull you are.

But as George Washington said, The People are the Protector of the Constitution. We can not relinquish one more inch. The danger is great, as we have people in our government hell-bent on shredding it.

From the looks of him, I´d say Piers has enjoyed too many Ploughman´s Lunches.

Unfortunately, Newt´s biggest baggage was that he was running against the GOP´s anointed one. Between him and Sarah, they speak more truth than the rest of the party combined.

Observe, if you will, that Newt and Herman and Sarah and both Rick´s continue to speak out and press the fight, while Mitt´s silence is deafening. Draw your own conclusions.

Do you think England would take Piers back? I would contribute for a slow boat ticket.

Morgan swore that his concern was "the high-powered guns of any variety which can fire 30 or 40 or more rounds in less than a minute." That would be any decent bolt action rifle, then. The British regularly trained a "Mad Minute" with a Lee Enfield, requiring 15 hits on a 12" round target at 300 yards. The record was 38 hits, set in 1914.

38 hits on a dinner plate at three football fields. With a bolt action. Stunning. Point being, anyone proficient at all can get off 40 rounds a minute with a bolt action if they´re just using spray-n-pray.

How you can be conservative and support Newt after he campaigned against capitalism is beyond me. That said Newt is at his best in this type of setting.

There was a great article I read on line today..sorry can´t remember which one maybe PJ Media..from a fellow Brit..wow..it slices and dices..it is a work of art..basically calls him a wh*re!! who will do and say anything for ratings..things that he doesn´t even believe..this guys says that Morgan is not a liberal...(could have fooled me!!)

Senator Newt sounds good to me. He´s smarter than 99% of the current seat holders.

So what you´re saying, Piers, is you can´t run that fast and you want them to stop and reload to give you a better chance of leaving ?

How many signatures on that petition ?

In between all the political brush fires that have engulfed the White House in recent days, President Obama and wife Michelle Obama have still managed time for vacation planning. The nation’s first family is looking to cool their jets this summer at a house in Farm Neck on Martha’s Vineyard, according to the Boston Globe. Obama and his family are no stranger to Martha’s Vineyard, having made three previous summer visits to Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark. They skipped going there last summer, and their favorite Blue Heron Farm house might not be available anymore.

Heather French Henry, the former beauty queen and wife of former Lt. Gov. Steve Henry, is considering challenging U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in 2014. Henry told The Hill, a Washington, D.C., political newspaper that she is being urged by Democrats in Kentucky to take on the five-term senator. “I´m not saying no yet, but I´m not saying yes,” she told The Hill. Henry, who won the Miss America contest in 2000, has never run for office but has gained some notoriety because of her volunteer work with veterans.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie today released another ad attacking his likely challenger, state Sen. Barbara Buono, hours after she began airing her first television commercial of the election. The Republican governor´s ad tries to link Buono to former Gov. Jon Corzine. She was Senate budget chairwoman during Corzine´s administration. “As the architect of Jon Corzine’s budgets, Barbara Buono was central to those disastrous policies that brought New Jersey to the brink of catastrophe,"

Former Democratic National Committee spokesperson and future MSNBC weekend host Karen Finney scolded a reporter who on Now this afternoon suggested that the White House may have overestimated how effective claiming that Republicans investigating a series of scandals were on a witch-hunt would be. In return, she asked if the GOP was genuinely concerned about the Obama administration’s scandals including the IRS’s targeting of right-leaning groups, then why didn’t Mitt Romney bring the issue up during the campaign? “One thing that we’ve seen over the last couple days is the degree to which the White House seems to

Tempers flared in a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing Wednesday, with members on both sides of the aisle castigating the Internal Revenue Service for targeting conservative groups with special scrutiny, and then hiding the practice from Congress. Rep. Darrel Issa, the committee´s chairman, said that the committee learned just yesterday that the IRS completed its own investigation a year before a Treasury Department Inspector General report was completed. But despite the IRS recognizing in May 2012 that its employees were treating right-wing groups differently from other organizations, Issa said, IRS personnel withheld those conclusions from legislators.

Former Rep. The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
