GOP donor: Gays must be
protected from Islamic
shariah law in U.S.

Washington Times, by Seth McLaughlin

An influential GOP donor said Friday that Republicans should do more to make sure that gay men and lesbian women do not fall victim to the sort of Shariah law practiced by hard-line Islamists. Foster Friess, the the multimillionaire who helped keep Rick Santorum´s presidential dreams afloat in the GOP primary last year, told reporters at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor that he wants to make sure that gay people are not killed in foreign nations because of their sexual preference. Asked whether the Republican Party should embrace gay marriage, the 72-year-old investment manager said,

Comments:
Uhh, what about everyone else?? Why is it that Republicans always manage to step in it. It´s really very tiresome.

Too late.
Christopher Stevens (according to Hillary) was the face of the State Dept´s new guidelines about hiring homosexuals for security work at embassies in the Middle East.
He even went to Abu Dabi to tout these new standards to ALL the Muslims in the Arab world.
Shortly thereafter he is dead.
(Yes, he was a homosexual himself, but that hardly seems important compared with shoving this PC policy down all the throats of Muslims in their own homelands.)

This is the wrong approach, completely. The left wants sharia and thinks it is so great. Let them suffer the consequences. If the muzzies ever got their way in America, they would start on high profile deviates and blasphemers, which would include most of the movie, tv, music, and internet porn industries.

You are also going to have to protect those vaunted "reproductive rights" from sharia law. According the imams and mullahs, women have the right to submit to men selected for them, get pregnant, have the baby, and shut the heck up. After all women are mere beasts with only half a soul.

This is the right way to approach the issue. Conservative Americans have ALWAYS stood up for the downtrodden.
IMHO, the way to approach the issue is:
Marriage is a sacrement of the Church. I do believe that you deserve the same rights as I as a married man, and as long as you are willing to accept the SAME RIGHTS via Civil Union-and anyone who ever had a Mayor or Judge perform the ceremony is considered married, they did not FORCE the Church to acknowledge their Union- we should demand the same rights be granted them. What two people do in the privacy of their homes is NOT my business.
Do I support gay ssex? No. DO I recognize their existence and accept that they have rights? Yes.
I really object to the forcing of Churches to accept without judgement and welcome with open arms.
Read this guys comments. They are tough to disagree with.

Being not muslim is against Shariah law. Shariah is not a U.S. law, by the way. The influential donor, whose name I suppose might be mentioned somewhere, might acknowledge facts. No U.S. legislature has passed any such law, nor has any such legislation been introduced, unless done so by Keith Ellison, that scholar of unconstitutionality. I would support gun control, knife control, and bomb control for islamists. Perhaps Biden or Dianne Feinstein will beoome outraged and propose a law.

Reacting to Sunday´s hate crime at two Jewish centers in Kansas City, Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) introduced today a bill to update the government´s 20-year-old report on hate speech in the media. The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 would examine the role of the Internet and other telecommunications in encouraging hate crimes based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, and would provide recommendations to address such crimes. Report: Obama Considering Bond
Hearings for Detained Illegal Immigrants
Breitbart´s Big Government, by Tony Lee    Original Article

Even though the number of illegal immigrants who have been deported through the courts has dropped by 43% since President Barack Obama took office, the Obama administration may enact administrative changes to allow bond hearings for detained illegal immigrants. According to the Los Angeles Times, this could result in "several thousand" illegal immigrants being released from jails and "could slow the pace of deportations" even more. The Times notes that the White House is scrambling to "ease the concerns of Latino groups and other traditional allies that have turned on President Obama in recent weeks" by trying to brand him

It’s pitiful that we’ve reached this point, but Obama’s account of this chat really is more credible than Cantor’s. O’s position on immigration is straightforward: He wants amnesty badly, partly for legacy reasons and partly because he’s understandably keen to legalize a few million future Democratic voters, and he’s hoping the GOP will go along so that he doesn’t have to do something risky like an executive moratorium on deportations. The GOP leadership’s position is anything but straightforward. They’re convinced that they need to pass some sort of immigration bill before 2016 or else Latinos will hand the White House

Obama: Democrats Should

President Obama thinks Democrats should not shy away from defending Obamacare. “Democrats should forcefully defend and be proud of the fact that millions of people . . . we’re helping, because of something we did,” he said. The president held a press conference on Thursday to announce that 8 million people have enrolled in Obamacare. He also said that Republicans are going through “stages of grief” over Obamacare. “Anger, denial, and all that stuff — we’re not at acceptance yet,” Obama said.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) intensified his criticism of armed militia members supporting rancher Cliven Bundy, calling them “domestic terrorists.” “They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said Thursday at an event hosted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, according to the newspaper. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.” Reid specifically criticized Bundy supporters for bringing guns and their children to the ranch to defend him against the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). BLM officials and contractors started rounding up Bundy’s cattle last week because of his refusal to pay $1 million in grazing

I thought it was smart when Fox News promoted Megyn Kelly, an anchor with the singular ability to generate juicy cable news moments that appeal to the left and the right, to an evening slot. Ratings-wise, that seems to have been a good call for the network. But one of the things that makes Fox such a strong channel, purely from a business perspective, is its ability to develop new talent and new concepts. And the show the network dreamed up to replace Kelly’s in daytime has a flair of evil genius: In “Outnumbered,” a panel of women will debate

“We should be afraid of sharia law” in America, and Muslims here who want to practice sharia should go back to where they came from, “to those nations that recognize sharia law,” said Rev. Franklin Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In a recent interview with the Charlotte Observer, Graham was asked, “Some say you demonize Islam, and Christians in this country have opposed building a mosque or are worried about Sharia law. Isn’t it –” Graham, who oversees the international Christian aid group Samaritan’s Purse, said, “We should be afraid of Sharia law. We should be absolutely

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively
