I love Jindal for this reason alone.

I agree. The GOP includes more women, African Americans, and Hispanics into leadership position and yet, it is easily neutralized by democrats essentially by demonizing and ridiculing these people.

The GOP needs more pitbulls and barracudas to deal with the new democrats/socialists/marxists bullies. They had Allen West and Herman Cain but stood to the side while the democrats destroyed them.

If they can´t fundamentally change, they need to step aside for a new political party that represents non-democrats.
They can start by re-framing the social policies argument based on new demographics and recruit disenfranchised democrats, libertarians and independents.

They should change their acronym. Now it is the GOP...Gelded (by) Obama Party.

The party of steers probably needs to be completely replaced.

Jindal is a poor choice for the Pub nomination. He is funny looking, slight, evangelicals won´t vote for him, he´s made a fool of himself on several occasions, used to be a Hindu which will be used against him just like Mittens being a Mormon was used against him, and on and on.

Jindal is ripe for being picked apart by the MSM. Let´s get a normal candidate for a change. No religious issues, no mental issues, no divorce issues, no foreign issues, no ethics issues. Find someone clean without baggage.

They need to repeat over and over, they care about the environment - demanding that all gov´t buildings install solar panels over the next 3-5 years.

Then, they need to put about 6-8 people who are part of the establishment who go out on all the TV and radio shows like the Democrats have. Articulate, and good with the presentation.

Focus on economic issues. Taxes isn´t it either.
Gasoline prices is a good place to start since it affects everyone, and Democrats want higher prices.

Link this to new jobs in exploration, drilling and transportation that are being created in this area.
Illustrate how the new revenues will help provide revenues for teachers, police and firefighters, and help reduce the costs for same product use by the various gov´t agencies (which affects budgets) - you´ll rally large sections of these groups to this position.

Demand the Post office switch to electric vehicles - they don´t drive very far and would be ideal use.

In my opinion, the GOP Leadership would be wise to give careful consideration to Governor Jindal´s "tactical" advice.

In addition to being a first-rate Chief Executive of the Pelican State, he is considered an intellectual "superstar" who was a Rhodes Scholar and holds a Master of Letters degree from Oxford.

I am seeing a trend in all these GOP articles that boils down to "they are not telling the right lies".
Forget the lies. How about the truth? How about they say what they stand for and back it up? Maybe they could stop capitulating and moving to the left to attract parasites. Maybe they could get some spine in the leadership.
Another good idea would be to actually acknowledge and investigate voter fraud.
I have real trouble casting a ballot for someone I don´t respect.

While the Republicans ponder what they could have been and what they need to do, very many of us have moved on, and won´t be coming back.

The GOP is toast. The only difference between the Dems and Repubs is that the Repubs are not malicious criminals.

While I agree that solutions to living and growth cannot come out of Washington, destruction of our way of life can. What will it matter if states under the leadership of people like Jindal are successful if Washington taxes and spends their wealth away.

The federal government is a THREAT to our success and way of life. It´s actions cannot be ignored. It needs to be neutralized.

Yes, demand the Federal Government use wind, solar and electric vehicles, even for presidential motorcades. And DON´T say: practice what you preach. Give no opening to be clobbered with a quasi-religious reference. Say instead: be good "stewards of the environment". And 10, I agree about listening to Jindal---but don´t even think about running him! We need a bare-knuckle street-fighter, not some Marquis of Queensberry dude like the last pinata. Someone who will respond vigorously to lying defamation.
