| Not everyone will have to abide by Senator Dianne Feinstein´s gun control bill. If the proposed legislation becomes law, government officials and others will be exempt. "Mrs. Feinstein´s measure would exempt more than 2,200 types of hunting and sporting rifles; guns manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; and weapons used by government officials, law enforcement and retired law enforcement personnel," the Washington Times reports. The Huffington Post confirms these exemptions, and adds that guns owned prior to the legislation becoming law will be permissible, too.

So a county commissioner will be exempt, but a returning veteran will not? I anticipate a lot of people being deputized in the future!

We need the exempted guns for similar reasons to why they think they need them. So we citizens should all be exempted from her unconstitutional law.

Unconstitutional ´laws´ aren´t laws.
And ´We the people´ decide which laws are constitutional, not unelected bureaucrats.
But you better be willing and able to use violence to retain your rights these domestic enemies (aka libtards) plan to erase.

Of course Poster number two; They want protection from irate citizenry, don´t you know. Of course, if push comes to shove, we will know whom to ambush when the next revolution comes - their armed guards. Even a rock can take out an unprepared armed man, and then...
However, it would be better for all concerned if we kept our arms instead of losing them and attempting to regain them, Government power has always been, ultimately, at the point of a gun.
And that is why we are armed. Unless we WANT to go the way of Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia, or Red China, we better arm up and seriously contemplate protecting OUR Liberties as the Second Amendment was designed for. Limiting the tyranny of our Government - at the point of a gun, which leaves the power of Government in the hands of the People, not some clique of self-described Elites.

It seems to me there is substantial, unmet market demand for the following: - incorporate a municipality in the rural weeds of a western state with a sole corporate citizen/taxpayer (think I´m crazy, a hotel/camp ground owner outside Zion National Park in Utah did just that) - organize a police department - start "deputizing" police officers at $500 a whack, thereby entitling them to very broad conceal carry rights and broad exemptions from gun restrictions.

The "government officials, law enforcement and retired law enforcement personnel" come from the people. The senator does not think they are untrustworthy scum. The devil is always in the details. Besides the outright ban on the named firearms, they also intend to ban just about every other modern semi-automatic handgun and rifle that can accept a magazine that could possible hold more them 10 rounds of ammunition that has a military attribute such as a hand-grip which would encompass just about every semi-automatic handgun and rifle produced and sold in America today.

The media will tell you they are all about news, sensationalism, "if it bleeds it leads," ratings, money, fulfilling demand, and clicks -- but that is all a lie. Over at Politico, the number-one "most searched" term is "kermit gosnell," the abortion doctor currently on trial in Philadelphia for the murder of seven babies. That search yields zero matches. The doctor´s last name, "gosnell," is Politico´s third most searched term and also yields zero matches having to do with Kermit Gosnell.

While President Obama’s administration has suggested that the Secret Service is to blame for the closure of White House tours, the onus now falls on the Democrat-controlled Senate. On Wednesday, Democrats rejected a Republican attempt to reopen the White House tours in a straight party-line vote. 54 Democrats voted against reopening the tours. None have voted to defund President Obama’s golf trips. The amendment, sponsored by Senator Tom Coburn, required 60 votes to pass.

Minnesota state legislators considering a same-sex marriage bill for the state did not have an answer to an 11-year-old girl’s question on which parent is not needed. “Since every child needs a mom and a dad to be born, I don’t think we can change that children need a mom and a dad. I believe God made it that way,” Grace Evans, 11, said before the Minnesota House Committee on Civil Law last week. “I know some disagree, but I want to ask you this question: Which parent do I not need – my mom or my dad?”

For much of the last four decades, the Alabama Education Association has risen to become one of the most powerful teachers’ unions in the country. As odd as it may seem in a dark red state, over the years long-time AEA executive director Paul Hubbert, oftentimes described as the “shadow governor” of Alabama, has earned his union the distinction of being one of the most politically involved organizations of its type in the country. Hubbert and the AEA won one of their first major battles in 1971

The Steering Committee of the Alabama Republican Party has taken the rare step of officially demanding that one of the state’s two GOP U.S. Senators change a publicly announced position in a high-profile Washington battle. Specifically, the state party leaders have passed a resolution demanding that Sen. Richard Shelby “reconsider and reverse his decision to support Senator [Chuck] Hagel to be Secretary of Defense.” The resolution, passed early this afternoon, blasts Hagel for statements “favorable toward” countries “that we believe to be enemies of the United States of America,”

He didn’t pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity.”

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
