Closeups of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton taken during her Senate testimony Wednesday revealed that she may be seeing double. As she testified about the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, the secretary of state appeared to have tiny vertical lines etched onto the left lens of her new brown specs.Clinton´s spokesman confirmed Thursday night she is wearing the glasses as a result of the fall and concussion she suffered last month, but he did not elaborate.

She´s always suffered from lack of vision. Perhaps she suffering from constantly having her nose shortened.

Crash landings from Grey Goose flights tends to cause that sort of problem.

Or maybe she just wants to project her idealistic youthfulness and return to her faaaaabulous 70´s look....

I am less worried about her eyesight than her insight.

She seems to have been affected by the fall and/or blood clot. She´s combative, angry, highly emotional, volatile, defensive and dismissive -- hardly the kind of person you´d want as either SOS or POTUS, especially since she lies so well.

Okay, so liars make good Presidents, we know that from the present POTUS and from Clinton before him, but this woman is, under any circumstances, a socialist. Recall that during Bubba´s Administration, it was Hillary who tried nationalizing health care with her stealth committee. She failed but her successor didn´t.

We MUST defeat the ideology of liberalism, not just individual liberals.

Anthony Weiner´s Offensive
Campaign for Mayor

The most offensive part of Anthony Weiner´s campaign for mayor isn´t the fact that he´s running. It´s the conceit that New York should become the "middle-class capital of the world"--that the melting pot should be divided into Marxist categories, that the Big Apple should be less than the stage for the biggest dreams. It´s all contrived, anyway. It´s painful to watch Weiner--who still makes $500k a year somehow--strain to look like an ordinary family man, to seem interested in the stories of local shopkeepers.

Remember the Lightworker? The "Black Jesus"? "The One"? The one we were waiting for, to stop the rise of the oceans and all of that stuff? How did he come to be standing beside Richard M. Nixon, aka "Tricky Dick," aka "The Shadow," in the great Hall of Blame, charged with massaging the facts when they became inconvenient, harassing the press and siccing the Internal Revenue Service on his political rivals, to impinge on their First Amendment rights of assembly and speech? From what we know now, there appear to be differences:

As someone who has been in theaters where people have not turned off their cell phones, I have many long, elaborate fantasies about what I would like to do to those people. In some of these fantasies, I merely clear my throat loudly or poke them a little with a sharpened umbrella. In my more grotesque imaginings, I shout, “FIRE!” “Where?” everyone else in the theater asks. “Right here,” I say, touching a lit match to the hem of the offender’s coat.

Rep. If he will obey your orders in not living up to a contempt of Congress, can we believe that he is in fact independent?” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr.: “I did not order Mr. Machen

Has President Nixon been replaced by Sergeant Schultz? The “Smartest President Ever” has disappeared. The Barack Brain Trust long-touted by liberals is gone — replaced by hacks whose rallying cry is straight from Stalag 13—“I know nothing. Nothing!” The top law enforcement agency in the land spied on the top news-gathering organization, secretly seizing phone records from their home and cell phones. They did so without the legally required notice to the Associated Press. And what did Attorney General Eric Holder say when asked why his Department of Justice would do such a thing?

We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they´re seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration´s credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don´t look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

There’s really no reason for the press to suggest that the recent slew of scandals involving the Obama administration — Benghazi, the AP phone-record seizure, the snooping in James Rosen’s e-mail, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and so on — are a confusing jumble. There is a very clear thread running through all of the administration’s actions: The U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, says that he was told not to speak to a member of Congress about Benghazi without a State Department lawyer present, that he received a phone call from Hillary Clinton’s
