| Republicans expressed satisfaction Thursday at news Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, the top Justice Department figure who had knowledge of the botched "Fast and Furious" gun-walking operation, is resigning. "He knew about reckless tactics, failed to take seriously allegations that they were continuing, and only owned up to his failures once they were publicly exposed," said House oversight committee Chairman Darrell E. Issa, who led a months-long investigation into the botched operation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Nonsense! Breuer will appear as Sub-Director of Neglected Stolen Property, Lower Slobbovia Branch of New Jersey, at twice his previous Salary (and will keep his mouth shut, thank you).

I am curious what the back room pay off is when an underling tells his president " I´ll take the blame for you Sir ". Does he get secret tax free status for life or full scholarships from a mystery benefactor for his kids ? Does he get a presidential pardon for his mistakes?

Headline is misleading. The Top "F&F" official didn´t resign- that´s Holder - Breuer is a minor flunky that that got bought off.
Is he going to take credit for getting our agents killed by "F&F" guns?

Nearly half (45%) of illegal aliens arrested on criminal charges would be eligible for legal status under the immigration bill S. 744, analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) shows. Looking at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records from its Secure Communities program for the six month period Oct. 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013, the analysis shows that 17,208 of 38,547 (45%) criminal illegal aliens would be eligible for legalization under the bill despite their offenses. What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
