A mother who was deemed insane after drowning her three-year-old daughter in the bathtub has been allowed to walk free from jail just three years later - because doctors say she regained her sanity. Jennifer Bigham, from Modesto, California, admitted killing the toddler in 2010 and was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity. After doctors ruled she is now sane, Bigham has been allowed to walk free and was released from jail on Tuesday. The 26-year-old was pictured smiling in her blue hospital gown as she was released from the hospital.

All better!

Where do we turn in our bathtubs so this does not happen again?

There were no 3 year olds running around in the insane asylum (oops probably can´t call it that anymore)

There don´t seem to be any restrictions on her either because she was considered not guilty....but they acknowledge she did kill the child.

I hope her family keep a close eye one her.

How about that! Shows to go you that you can knock off anybody, act goofy, pretend you are loony tunes, eat , relax, laugh a lot and one morning just say´ hey, what am I doing here...I don´t remember anything´...be nice act normal and you my friend are on your way out the door after successfully knocking off the object of your trek...what a system.

Maybe abortion rights are being extended to up to 5 yrs old!

Anyone wonder if the child has a father that was being punished by the murderous mom?

Moral relativism at its best.

The mental health system has always been the realm of liberals shaping society. Violent, psychotic people are to be the subjects of papers in the professional journals. They feed on each others accolades. This pseudo science will be used to institutionalize political opponents like the old Soviet Union.

#13, the rationale for keeping her locked away is that she will stop taking the very imperfect meds that make her fat, and will resume her homicidal ideation. Multiply this broad by the number of other borderline insane who "get by" only when propped up by drugs we have to trust them to take, and we have pretty much every mass killing in the past few decades. And they blame the bathtub, or the gun.

Pharmacist Larry Cowan can flip through his records and spot the generic drugs that have taken big price jumps in the past year or so. There’s digoxin, a heart medicine that he used to buy for pennies a pill. “Now the price is close to 10 times that,” said Cowan, owner of Glenview Professional Pharmacy in Richland Hills. There’s doxycycline, a decades-old antibiotic that went on the Food and Drug Administration’s shortage list in 2012 and became the poster child for generic price spikes. Cowan said a tablet of doxycycline went from about 6 cents in late 2012 to $3.65

A male juvenile walked into a restroom at Polliwog Park (map) about 2:09 p.m. Friday when he was accosted by a man who forced him into a stall and fondled the boy’s genitals, the Manhattan Beach Police Department said in a statement. The victim fled the restroom and reported the incident to a parent. The man is described as white, in his 40s, with grey hair and a medium build, wearing a white shirt and

Trenton — Deeply in debt and struggling to stay open, Saint Michael’s Medical Center of Newark put itself up for sale two years ago and accepted a $65 million offer from Prime Healthcare Services of California. Weeks later, however, Prime took a closer look at Saint Michael’s books and concluded they revealed “burdensome and inflexible” labor contracts, HMO rates “significantly below market price,” and two doctors earning more than $500,000 annually. (Snip) The proceeds from the sale won’t come close to conquering the $233 million mountain of state-backed loans Saint Michael took on when its parent company, Catholic Health East,

"There is no legitimate reason for the IRS to know who donates to Campaign for Liberty," the organization´s Communications Director Megan Stiles told the Washington Examiner in an e-mail April 15. Schools in Birmingham are illegally segregating pupils, discriminating against non-Muslim students and restricting the GCSE syllabus to “comply with conservative Islamic teaching”, an official report leaked to The Telegraph discloses. Department for Education inspectors said that girls in a school at the centre of the so-called “Trojan Horse” plot were forced to sit at the back of the class, some Christian pupils were left to “teach themselves” and an extremist preacher was invited to speak to children. The report, into three schools in the city, follows weeks of controversy over the alleged plot to “Islamise” secular schools in Birmingham

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
