Retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, the former head of the U.S. Special Forces Command, says infantry and other front-line units are no place for women, and it has nothing to do with their courage or capabilities: "The people making this decision are doing so as part of another social experiment, and they have never lived nor fought with an infantry or Special Forces unit," Boykin said in a statement released by the conservative Family Research Council, for whom he now works. "These units have the mission of closing with and destroying the enemy, sometimes

Comments:
Amen to that General! How do we ever repair the damage that is being done to us by radical leftists. Gen. Boykin has called the 0bama regime a Marxist insurgency. He was also forced out by the 0bama regime from speaking at West Point. All of the military members who speak the truth about 0bama are banished by this regime.

Liberals have ALWAYS viewed the military as a captive laboratory for their twisted social experiments.

All males must register for the (non existant) draft at the age of 18.

Say that outloud, and ask when all 18 years old, male, female, straight or gay will register for the draft.

Oh, and that is all 18 year olds – including aliens – because in the ’60´s you could be drafted if you were 18 and resident of the USA.

If individual women can meet the same stringent strength and agility requirements as the men, then go for it. Otherwise no.

New meaning to the term foxholes.

We already know how female news reporters are treated when simply surrounded by a crowd of angry men during demonstrations in Cairo. There is no doubt that a worse fate will await female combat POWs captured by jihadists.

My solution: Don´t integrate them. Form up all women units, from private up to general if needed. Send them out, if they do good, Hooray. If they get creamed, tough noogies.

Does this mean foxhole with bidet for the Special Forces couple?

Allow me to deliver the lib/prog rebuttle to his comments. "Who cares what an old, retired general thinks?" You know that´s their attitude.

It will be interesting to see whether women continue to enlist at the current rates. I´m not seeing any guarantees that they won´t be forced to the front lines if the "need" is there whether they want to go or not. I believe we´ve already seen examples of what happens to women who are captured during the current war on terror.

If you want to be treated like a man, you get to fight like a man. Unfortunately, too many want the position but lack the mental and physical ability.

Since this issue arises because of promises made to special interest activists be fair. Don´t force a woman or a metro sexual into combat units but if they volunteer stand back and give them a chance to learn on the jop what combat really means..
To make that easier on men who believe women are special beings units should be formed by choice.
1. All gay and lesbian male oriented troops form one battle unit choice
2. All Gay and lesbian female oriented troops can help keep assistance flowing to the front lines
3. All straight troops men or women can fill their choices too-- free from the stress caused mixed abilities.
Activists now without a cause probably will just fade away and a balance of lives and living can be achieved to our benefit.

Dittoes, Sir. General Boykin has long been a teller of unpopular truths in a politically correct world, and has caught a lot of flack because of it. Usually he´s right.

He certainly is in this case.

Guarantee: Standards will be lowered so Fems don´t fail...the courses. On the battlefield it will be life/death and I´m afraid our ´Guys´ will die either saving or being saved by fems that just can´t do it.

The less than 1% that can measure up will be hired away by the Ruskies. They like Tough Women!

Defense Department (DOD) officials decided to stop covering a certain form of physical therapy for the disable children of military members, despite an administrative judge’s ruling that the treatment is covered under the law. “For my daughter, this therapy means life, death or some horrible surgery, but she’s not alone — there are 27 other military families who use the center where Kaitlyn goes,” Jennifer Samuels told Military Times. "Let´s face facts: the American media is in an abusive relationship with Obama." So marvelously said Dennis Miller on Fox New´s the O´Reilly Factor in a discussion about the Internal Revenue Service scandal Wednesday (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary): DENNIS MILLER: Nobody in the press is going to bear in on this. Let´s face facts: the American media is in an abusive relationship with Obama. They don´t quite know what to do. If you take the New York Times, you could refer to it as "Fifty Shades of Grey Lady."

The signs keep accumulating that the IRS scandal is worse than liberals are willing to concede. On Bill Press´s radio show yesterday, a reporter with left-leaning Politico told Press that the Internal Revenue Service dragging its feet on applications for tax-exempt status from tea party groups probably affected the outcome of last year´s election. On Wednesday, CNN anchor Jake Tapper dug into the controversial way in which members of President Barack Obama’s administration have apparently tried to intimidate whistleblowers in the government and the journalists that would investigate their stories. Tapper said that some, including the New York Times editorial board, have described the administration’s actions as “threatening fundamental freedoms of the press.” He warned Obama’s supporters to remember the precedent his administration is setting when a Republican next occupies the Oval Office. Tapper noted that the scandal surrounding the subpoenaing of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s personal telephone and email

Even though 132 members of Congress sent former Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman letters about the IRS targeting of conservative groups, Shulman reiterated Wednesday that he did not have the full story until the inspector general’s report came out. “In the two years that this targeting was taking place, did any member of Congress contact you? Write you? About this particular subject? Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan asked during a House Oversight hearing. “Did you get letters from Congress?”

The chief judge of the District’s federal court issued an unusual order Wednesday, apologizing to the public and the media for not making certain court documents widely available online. The gesture of transparency by U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth comes at a time when the Obama administration is under scrutiny for an unprecedented number of leak investigations, including one showing that the Justice Department had secretly probed the news-gathering activities of Fox News reporter James Rosen. The investigation of Rosen was first reported Monday, after The Washington

In some other universe this would be shocking. In this universe it’s par for the course, and I don’t mean the golf course, but the guy who makes the golf course his second home. The US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald C. Machen – the man responsible for the aggressive surveillance and phone record scrutiny at Fox News – is also a big donor to the Obama Campaigns. At the time of his appointment, the Washington Post wrote a profile on Machen including this tidbit: Over the years, he has donated $4,350 to Obama’s campaigns.

Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

There’s really no reason for the press to suggest that the recent slew of scandals involving the Obama administration — Benghazi, the AP phone-record seizure, the snooping in James Rosen’s e-mail, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and so on — are a confusing jumble. There is a very clear thread running through all of the administration’s actions: The U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, says that he was told not to speak to a member of Congress about Benghazi without a State Department lawyer present, that he received a phone call from Hillary Clinton’s
