| Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) would have fired Hillary Rodham Clinton for the debacle in Benghazi, Libya. “Had I been president at the time and I found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi .?.?. I would have relieved you of your post.” On the other hand, had the secretary of state spent her time reading staffing requests for consulates all over the world, someone else would have called for her firing. That person would have been right. There is something about Clinton that drives otherwise sane people nuts.

Quickly and unfailingly differentiating what is important, vital and what is not is the key characteristic of true leadership. Everything else can be done by subordinates not this. The HildeBeast has given ample proof, if any was required, that she is wholly unworthy and unfit for any office beyond dog catcher. But then so has her boss - several times.

Sorry, Dick (may I call you "Dick?"), but I´m not aware our consulates all over the world are under active attack. maybe if she just read the "we´re-about-to-be-killed" requests, she might have found the time in all of her travels to actually do something.

What a crock! A real time feed of the Ambassador under attack playing in the State Department and the Secretary doesn´t know? Someone tells the rescue team to stand down and the Secretary doesn´t know? The Secretary’s Ambassador to the UN is dispatched to the Sunday news shows with risible false talking points and the Secretary says she has nothing to do with the talking points? Are you kidding me?

But she claims to have been such a close friend of Amb. Stevens......I guess she was only allowed to be bothered if something really important was happening.
She would have you believe that she was all over it and at the same time quite removed.

I just don´t have enough time nor space to tell you, Sir, why I can´t stand Hillary. It is not because she stayed with Bubba; it is because she enabled him to harrass women and to do the "naughty" with them and then she harrassed them. I remember Billy Dale, Craig Livingstone, Vince Foster, her fraudulent billing records. etc. She is a consumate liar and I don´t trust one thing that comes out of her mouth. Rand Paul was right; you are wrong.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

The New York Times editorial board has condemned the Obama administration for threatening press freedom in the wake of revelations that the Justice Dept. seized phone records belonging to Fox News reporter James Rosen. "With the decision to label a Fox News television reporter a possible ´co-conspirator´ in a criminal investigation of a news leak, the Obama administration has moved beyond protecting government secrets to threatening fundamental freedoms of the press to gather news," the board wrote in an editorial published on Wednesday. Noting past Obama administration intrustions into press freedom, including the Justice Dept.´s

From the outset, Internal Revenue Service lawyers based in Washington, D.C., provided important guidance on the handling of tea-party groups’ applications for tax-exempt status, according to both IRS sources and the inspector general’s report released in mid May. Officials in the Technical Unit of the IRS’s Rulings and Agreements office played an integral role in determining how the targeted applications were treated, provided general guidelines to Cincinnati case workers, briefed other agency employees on the status of the special cases, and reviewed all those intrusive requests demanding “more information” from tea-party groups.

NEW YORK (AP) — Anthony Weiner´s run for a renaissance is officially on. The ex-congressman whose career imploded in a rash of raunchy tweets two years ago said in a YouTube video announcement late Tuesday that he´s in the New York City mayoral race. He´d said last month he was considering it. "I made some big mistakes and I know I let a lot of people down, but I also learned some tough lessons," he said in the video. After almost nine months, during which we have seen a bogus State Department press release, Rose Garden denouncements, a Treaty Room statement, Andrews Air Force base condolences, 25,000 documents, an Accountability Review Board report, a Senate report, depositions, press briefings, Congressional hearings, and Obama administration officials trolling on Sunday talk shows, it’s time to play Benghazi CLUE! America needs to know if Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, or any of the other suspects used a dagger, a knife, a rope, or a candlestick in the library, the conservatory, or the billiard room.

The Washington Post reported today that, in the course of a leak investigation of a State Department employee who allegedly provided Fox News’s James Rosen with classified information, the Obama Justice Department not only subpoenaed Rosen’s private e-mails but also said that Rosen was “an aider and abettor and/or co-conspirator” in the alleged crime. Rosen was not charged with any crime, but it is unprecedented for the government, in an official court document, to accuse a reporter of breaking the law for conducting the routine business of reporting on government secrets.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
