Tapper On Hillary´s Outburst:
Exhaustion Taking "Strong
Emotional Toll" On Her

Real Clear Politics, by Ian Schwartz

CNN´s Jake Tapper reports on how exhaustion may be responsible for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton´s emotional outburst at a Senate hearing on Benghazi today. --- BLITZER: Were you surprised she got as emotional as she did in discussing the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the others? TAPPER: No, because she has been reaching out directly to these individuals, and of course, these were people who were killed on her watch at the State Department. She went through a list early in her testimony of all the individuals who had been killed at diplomatic

Comments:
What a bunch of nonsense. Since Tapper went over to the dark side of CNN any mention of him as being one of the "better journalists" is gone forever.

Jake, that didn´t take long, did it? Congrats on the rapid reeducation! Was it painful?

I wonder if Tapper´s "journalistic approach" towards Obama isn´t in part a resentment by him for trashing his choice for President, Hillary?

Exhaustion has nothing to do with it. Hillary has always been a nasty woman. Her college graduation she was at the lecturn chastising the guest speaker. When Bill ran for re-election for governor of Arkansas she crashed a press conference of his opponent and screamed at him while pointing her finger in his face. When Bill ran for president she was dripping with sarcasim and mocking about baking cookies and not standing by her man. She ridiculed Gennifer Flowers, and other "bimbos" who Bill hit on. Remember the testimony she gave about Whitewater or was it the billing records of the Rose law firm that ended up in the private quarters of the White House, and she wore the "dragon lady" cloak as an "in your face" statement to her critics and the panel. Hillary is a vindictive, hateful shrew. She always has been and will always be so. Disgusting pig.

So...she was very close with Amb. Stevens one minute but then couldn´t be bothered to read his cables pleading for help the next.

And the hacks in congress just ate it up like it was good.

No one in the media has picked up on the point that inher outburst she screamed what does it matter if the attack was caused by a movie or a buch of guys out for the evening just decided to attack the embassay on a whim (paraphrased). Notice that she did not give the third alternative that it was a pre-planned attack by al-qaida on the anniversary of 911. You better believe that this was a completely rehersed answer that she used the oportunity of the senators question to pull out and to feign rage. She had ALL THE QUESTIONS in advance. No ackowledgement of the possibiltiy that it was pre-planned by al-quaida was ever given by her. The republicans are inept and stupid.

In the media today you have to be nice to this administration or you don´t get access. Also, if you´re not nice the administration will come after you. You have to have b@lls to be a journalist today, that´s why there aren´t very many of them.

Yes #5, not one person brought it up that since he was so close to Hillary and so well liked by everybody, both Dems and Pubs, that his cables could just be set aside by her underlings and ignored. She´s lying out her arse, she read those cables and she knows it. She didn´t want to increase security so as not to bring attention to the gun-running going on over there in the annex. And in the future if my Block Captain reports me for saying this so be it! See y´all in the camps!

OK - so if she can´t stand the pressure as SOS, what makes anyone think she can stand it as POTUS?????

#9, beat me to the punch. Tapper´s comment was a put-down on her ability to hold a powerful job. Next we´ll be hearing from the NOW hags about what a sexist he is.

I´ll tell you why she got emotional. She knows damn well she´s responsible for the deaths in Benghazi. I doubt if she´s been sleeping very well since September 11.

Thanks #6, that´s what I´ve been wondering. Why did she get away with those two scenarios when she knows damn well neither are true. Guys out for a walk, give me a break.

Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has apologized for remarks Monday in which he linked Oklahoma "cyclones" to climate change while berating Republicans for their stance on the issue -- around the time a massive tornado killed dozens in that state. A Whitehouse spokesman said Tuesday the politically charged remarks were pre-written as part of the senator’s weekly Senate floor speech on climate change. “Tragically and unbeknownst to the senator at the time, a series of tornadoes were hitting Oklahoma at the same moment he gave his remarks,” the spokesman said.

During a panel discussion on the Department of Justice seizing the phone records of Fox News’ James Rosen, Bret Baier revealed that the seizure included the phone records of Rosen’s parents. The entire panel agreed the scandal was an outrage, with Kirsten Powers pointing out that there have been a number of high-profile leaks from the Obama administration, but the only ones they seem interested in going after are the ones that make them look bad. Charles Krauthammer found it amazing that the government would make such a “huge assault on the first amendment” in trying to

The White House on Tuesday threatened to veto a House bill designed to approve building the Keystone pipeline, saying President Obama should have final say over the controversial project to bring oil from Canada to the U.S. “Because [the bill] seeks to circumvent longstanding and proven processes for determining whether cross-border pipelines are in the national interest by removing the presidential permitting requirement for the Keystone XL pipeline project, if presented to the president, his senior advisors would recommend that he veto this bill,” the White House budget office said in a statement of policy.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.
