During a panel discussion on Wednesday´s NBC Today, attorney Star Jones and the network´s chief medical editor Nancy Snyderman hyperventilated over Britain´s Prince Harry revealing in interviews that he killed Taliban fighters during combat in Afghanistan. Jones fretted: "Why do you need to antagonize the Taliban?" [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Snyderman chimed in: "I thought he jumped the shark when he was shown playing video games and then it was, ´Oh my God, we killed people.´" Co-host Matt Lauer sparked the exchange by wondering:

Things that take your breath away. This perfectly illustrates why leftist morons are so dangerous to the security of our country. You know they aren´t the only ones who share these views. Their twisted thinking is so perverse it is beyond anything I have ever seen.

Because they are fighting the Taliban you moron.

I´d love to see some of these idiots forced to live under Sharia law.

Yes, as we all know, there´s not a single example of a Taliban, or any Muslim for that matter, doing anything but quietly and contentedly raising dates and singing lullabys to his lambs [literal and figurative] except for having been "antagonized" by those e-e-e-v-v-i-l-l-l Westerners.

Right?

We are going to fix that Harry by sending 20 jets and 200 tanks to the musbros to chase him down. Isn´t it great to have a friend like the U.S.

Maybe they could interview him and he could tell them just why he did that. What is it going to take so that they understand? Have they forgotten 9-11?

Reply 7 - Posted by: billp, 1/24/2013 11:07:33 AM     (No. 9136369)

I think we should ´antagonize´ them at every opportunity. The Taliban kill people who disagree with them and oppress those who don´t have the power of freedom to disagree. Call them pork chops, diaper-heads, backward - whatever, so long as it is insulting.

By the way, these same media people seem to never have a problem ´antagonizing´ Christians at every opportunity. Are these news-people American or, something else altogether?

Harry went to a war zone to fly a helicopter gunship. What do these morons think a helicopter gunship is used for in a war zone? the stupidity of these people is overwhelming my ability to believe in teh future of America.

Reply 10 - Posted by: TXknitter, 1/24/2013 11:44:17 AM     (No. 9136480)

This generation of Royals are pretty liberal. I really hope this give Harry pause to think about the values of these people. Actually, he is learning that to stay popular means never giving an honest (much less patriotic) opinion about anything!!! I hope this makes him more determined than EVER to be straightforward.

Reply 11 - Posted by: bighambone, 1/24/2013 11:49:16 AM     (No. 9136499)

By all accounts Harry is a unapologetic warrior for freedom. On arriving in the UK yesterday he told the media of a recent incident where the Taliban shot down a seven year old girl nearby his camp.

Those morons on NBC would crap their bloomers if they found themselves in half the scary combat situations in which Harry and other soldiers likely experienced during their tours in Afghanistan.

It´s not like the Taliban hangs dead bodies from bridges or displays their heads in public like barbarians used to do. Harry should show more sensitivity.

Good point #1. Perhaps Synderman might try living anonymously in Saudi Arabia or Iran for a year with her face covered 24/7.

Let`s see how long they can last....

What´s it to you Nancy ? Seems to be ok with the queen and she doesn´t care what you think. As I remember from a book about you, you aren´t all that smart with your life choices.

We now know that the Justice Department kept exceptionally close tabs on Fox News reporter James Rosen in 2010, following his trips in and out of the State Department, hacking his personal emails and phone calls. Normal newsgathering activities are being treated as criminal activities by the White House. But consider what the same White House had to say about Fox News back in 2009. You might remember the concerted effort by White House officials to brand the right-leaning Fox News as a bogus news outlet, unworthy of attention.

Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Hillary’s Clinton’s long time aide with extensive ties to Muslim Brotherhood groups, was granted an arrangement by the State Department to do outside consulting work, even as she remained a top advisor in the Department. Abedin did not disclose either the arrangement, or how much she earned from it, on her financial report, despite a requirement that public officials must disclose significant sources of income. Clinton advisor Philippe Reines contended she was under no obligation to do so. Abedin, who has served Clinton for 15 years, became a “special government employee”

A federal judge in Washington ruled in 2010 that the Justice Department was not required by law to notify Fox reporter James Rosen that prosecutors had obtained his emails in connection with an investigation into a leak about North Korean plans to test a nuclear weapon. In September 2010, Chief U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth overruled the conclusion of federal magistrate John Facciola that Rosen—whose Gmail account was searched—was entitled by law to be informed. Prosecutors contended that under the statute used to get Rosen´s emails, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, they were not

The Department of Justice released a statement moments ago amid reports of the department obtaining a subpoena in order to access Fox News reporter James Rosen´s personal emails. "Leaks of classified information to the press can pose a serious risk of harm to our national security and it is important that we pursue these matters using appropriate law enforcement tools. Such investigations and prosecutions, including this particular case, follow all applicable laws, regulations, and longstanding Department of Justice policies intended to safeguard the First Amendment interests of the press in reporting the news and the public in receiving it."

Michelle Malkin joined Megyn Kelly on Fox News Monday afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the investigation into the IRS targeting conservatives for audits. Malkin insisted it was not merely her “ideology” that has led to critique the Obama administration on their handling of the IRS issue and others, but rather the evidence she’s seen of their “bully brigade tactics” to “intimidate and criminalize their political opponents.” Malkin began by going after White House Press Secretary Jay Carney for his handling of the various Obama “scandals,” saying the “clown Carney press briefings have turned in

The Justice Department, already under fire for seizing AP phone records, also viewed e-mails of Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen, calling him a criminal ´co-conspirator´ for his reporting. Fox News´ executive vice president of news, Michael Clemente, released a statement defending Rosen. The statement issued Monday afternoon is below: "We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter," Clemente said. Michael Steinbach, former head of the FBI’s counterterrorism division and now special agent in charge of Miami, told over 30 congressional staffers in March of 2012 that, contrary to the White House´s classification, the bureau does not refer to the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence." As head of the FBI counterterrorism division, Steinbach oversaw the investigation into the mass murder at Texas Army base. Steinbach made this claim during an unclassified counterterrorism briefing on Capitol Hill. “Do you guys teach your agents that Fort Hood was workplace violence?” one staffer asked.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
