| A conservative student group from Texas A&M University said the school displayed its "far-left agenda" by hosting actor Danny Glover at a campus event. The Texas Aggie Conservatives posted portions of Glover´s comments about the Second Amendment, which he made during a breakfast to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 17. The event was organized by the Memorial Student Center Woodson Black Awareness Committee. The conservative group later created an online petition slamming the university for inviting "radical leftist speakers" to speak at the annual MLK event. Does anyone know about this story? I thought I read a article that Danny Glover ownes a bar and his partner is white. I also remember the article telling how everyone enjoyed chatting and drinking with Glover when he visits the bar. All very cozy and friendly. I assume that the clientele is mixed racially and there are no problems. Does this make any sense if Mr. Glover lives in a world with a dark heart of discrimination?

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.
