| President Barack Obama got green hearts fluttering when he devoted more time to climate change than any other single issue during his inaugural address. But don’t expect a climate crusade. It’s more like covert action.There are no plans to enlist Al Gore or other rock stars of the environmental movement for a public campaign on the dangers of global warming. Don’t expect to see a new cap-and-trade bill.(Snip) Energy insiders say the White House will dribble out executive actions and federal rules over the next four years — the same low-key, bureaucratic approach the administration has taken since 2009.

The fuel economy standards are already costing lives and increasing the cost of every vehicle produced. The electric vehicles represent relatively little advancement in technology over the last 90 years with the exception of the batteries. And those are susceptible to fires and could well make the vehicle unusable and represent a large one-time disposal cost. Sun and wind require back-up plants which are more inexpensive to operate than the energy they back up.

When we are freezing because of global cooling, will we be able to drill and create a little global warming? Dose controlling the climate mean turning up the flame when it´s cold?

On Wednesday, at two rallies bracketing the Capitol, Tea Party and conservative activists will again take center-stage on two issues dominating the national political dialogue. Reps. Steve King, Michele Bachmann and other members of the Tea Party Caucus will host a nearly day-long dialogue and discussion on immigration reform. On the other side of the Capitol, Tea Party grass roots organizations will hold a rally to "Audit the IRS," in response to the agency´s efforts to intimidate conservative organizations.
