Sickening to say the least!

There are different ways to drag up. "Drag up" means "to quit", but the term "Drag up" is the preferred nomenclature. There´s the angry drag up, when somebody gets the redass and dramatically vents his grievences and walk off. There´s the dry, British, upperclass drag up, where the complaints are stated without a hint of emotion, and then a walk off with an air of someone without a care. There´s the sabotage drag up, when the disgruntled worker, or tenant, or taxpayer drills a hole in the hull of the boat, or throws a wrench in the machine, and walks off. My favorite is the silent drag, when the boss turns around and asks, "Say... have you seen so-and-so?" Nobody knows where you are because you´ve already hit the road without saying anything. I think Mickelson is going to leave California, now, in the silent drag mode.

He spoke his mind, what is with the apology ? Is it tied to his paycheck ?

Well, sometimes the truth just hurts - but the fact is, it´s long past time to look at WHY people are unemployed (and spare me the "7.8% unemployment rate and falling" baloney) - and WHY it is that taxes are being increased so as to be overburdening only about 1/2 the working population - those PAYING the taxes. Ask ´Why?´ - - and then stand back and watch the Leftist media and other associated educated idiots vent their collective spleen. THAT will tell you all you need to know.

What will he say when he moves out of state?

If he was going to end up caving and apologizing, I wish he had kept his opinion to himself as well.
Mind you, I love Phil, love watching Phil and think he is a gentleman. But Phil, a man´s got to know his limitations.

Rick Reilly of ESPN seems to have taken on the role of Gov´t Snitch & Master Bully for the progressives. We have several incidents of his nasty attacks on conservatives.

I am very disappointed that Phil Mickelson allowed himself to be "Bullied into apologizing". There was no need for an apology for the truth.

Phil should have just packed up his bags and left. It is still a right in this country to live where ever you want to. Now he looks pitiful and that is no way for a man to look. I suspect the rumors about legislation to grab as much as the State can from people leaving is true. The beast never gives up without a serious fight.

#4, you beat me to it. People are unemployed and the economy is a wreck because of policies like those in California. If everyone who could vote with their feet (as Reagan used to say) did so, perhaps legislatures wouldn´t be so stupid and greedy.

Sorry for the second post, but in answer to #10, New York City had an exit tax in the 90´s of 1% of the sale price of your house, and I know New Jersey has an exit tax now.

There are many avenues of censorship and closing down those who don´t support the party line. This is one tactic the left has perfected. It is disappointing that Mickelson caved to the ridicule and bullying. On the other hand, until the American people are ready to step up to the plate and dish out real consequences for what happened to him, nothing will change. We´re no better than Mickelson -- he caves and we allow the bullying and intimidation to happen without consequences.

He´s a fool. The liberal sports media won´t let the public forget what he said and those who agree with his initial comments won´t forget that he wimped out and apologized. I´ve never liked him (or his "sport") and I like him even less now.
