| Women in all branches of the military soon will have unprecedented opportunities to serve on the front lines of the nation´s wars. Leon Panetta, in one of his last acts as President Obama´s defense secretary, is preparing to announce the policy change, which would open hundreds of thousands of front-line positions and potentially elite commando jobs after more than a decade at war, the Pentagon confirmed Wednesday. The groundbreaking move recommended by the Joint Chiefs of Staff overturns a 1994 rule banning women from being assigned to smaller ground combat units. Panetta´s decision gives the military services until

Øvomit is living his ultimate dream -- to totally and completely destroy the armed forces of the United States of America!!!
Even since he was just a young boy, listening to the rantings of every ultra-lie-beral adult that he looked up to, he has been taught how evil our military is. Now he gets to do what every lie-beral has only dreamed of, and actually get to completely destroy it.
Comrade Stalin is smiling from the very bowles of Hell right now!!!

This is another one of those head-fakes and end-around by 0bama. He gets his Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta, who´s a failure at it and leaving, to do something despicable. Like gays marrying in the Washington Cathedral. This is part of the price to negotiate budget money from GOP House and closing GITMO.
Rough days ahead just beginning. You saw it in the way we were "kind" in Congress today to PIAPS. Brace yourselves.

Im sick of fighting it. Good for them. Go to combat, get your pu++y shot off like our guys are getting their penises shot off. Get gang raped. Mentally scarred. You women, mostly lesbians are going to get what you ask for. I for one am glad the women in the military will be more than baby machines in the US navy and army. Go out and get your butt shot then come back and destroy the country. I give up.

Another step in the destruction of the American family unit. The feminist movement, IMHO, is probably the most destructive social development to afflict the USA.
A woman is uniquely created to raise and nurture children, and this critical role has been minimized and cheapened by the feminists and liberal organizations. Families have been devalued and ignored by the actions of, in this instance,Hussein Obama and Panetta.

Yes, by all means put them into combat. Let them kill. There is nothing like talking a life to say "we have arrived". But make them carry the full load during a prolonged, dynamic operation, and keep up. I´m not saying by this that they can´t do it physically, because I imagine there are some that can. Nor am I saying they don´t have the guts for it, because I imagine there are some who do. But what I am saying is no breaks. If they want in combat they must be able do it all.

In case the picture hasn´t clarified for you, this is another salvo in the orchestrated campaign to destroy Western Culture.
There is no aspect of Western Culture that is not under concerted attack. Think about it. What is being ´redefined´ (destroyed).
- Traditional male and female occupations and roles - Family - Work ethic - Religion
These are being replaced by what? (Hint: nothing - at present the goal is simply to tear down).
Once this work is accomplished, our own reign of terror will follow.
They will not like the world they are created, but they are blinded from the outcome, because a darker hand is conducting the orchestra.

As I said before this is just another attack by Democrats to destroy the greatest army on earth. First gays and now women. This is purposeful and destructive. I would not go into combat with women period! I don´t care what anyone thinks of this post I wouldn´t do it. It won´t be long before all the physical strength requirements will be revised downward to accomodate women. The result will be more combat deaths just to be pc. It´s discusting what the Democrats are doing to this country!

Many callers (mostly military, ex-military) to Mark Levin´s show tonight are objecting to this, for good reason. Ironically, earlier this afternoon, Valerie Jarrett tweeted, "If there´s one thing we should all agree on, it´s protecting women from violence. Congress needs to pass the Violence Against Women Act."

First of all there are no "front lines" anymore. The battlefield is 360 degrees and female soldiers have already been engaged in the fight.
Secondly, if women think they could be placed in a combat union it will cause a lot to get out or potential recruits to reconsider.

Years ago when women started working the flight line in the Air Force, & my husband was a shop chief, they had to build new latrines for the women. The pink & blue F-15 on the doors wasn´t working. My husband assigned one of the WAFS to paint the new potty. She came back & asked to have someone help her put up the scaffolding, so he tapped another WAF. They probably didn´t think it was funny, but I thought it was hilarious, when he came home & told me.

It´s company command level officers and senior NCO´s who will have to deal with all this once the liberals insert two or three females into each infantry fire team or squad, and the multitude of personal and professional problems that will arise are not going to be pretty or career enhancing.
You have to wonder just who is going to be humping the machine guns and all the ammo that the infantry needs to survive in sustained ground combat. I can tell you that in Korea all that stuff was big time heavy. I was a BAR man and the weapon itself weighed in at over 20 lbs, then add on about fifteen 20 round magazines of ammunition, with the mountains (yamas) being very steep and always only going in one direction, up! All that is a recipe for getting pregnant damn quick and bugging out ASAP.
The only reason that the liberal Democrats can institute such ludicrous policy changes is that these days only about 1% of the US population ever serves in the military, with the other 99% not having a clue as to the extreme hardships that marines and soldiers experience during sustained ground combat operations.

BERLIN — President Barack Obama is challenging Americans and Europeans not to become complacent even though the Cold War is over. Obama is speaking at Berlin´s iconic Brandenburg Gate nearly 50 years after John F. Kennedy´s famous speech in the once-divided city. Obama says there´s a temptation to turn inward now that barbed wire and concrete walls no longer separate East and West in Berlin. He says he´s returned to Berlin because the tests of our time require the same fighting spirit. He´s pointing to poverty and unemployment as ongoing challenges requiring the world´s

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would win Florida against both Sen. Marco Rubio and former Gov. Jeb Bush in the 2016 presidential election, a new poll finds. If the election were held today, Clinton would top Bush 50 percent to 43 percent, and she would best Rubio 53 percent to 41 percent, according to Wednesday’s survey from Quinnipiac. Vice President Joe Biden would trail both of Florida’s Republican favorites. If he were the Democratic candidate, Bush would win 47 percent to 43 percent, and Rubio would narrowly defeat Biden 45 percent to 43 percent.

West told station WMAL that he could run for Senate "if I see people that are not taking our country down the right path, if I see people that are not standing up for the right type of principles, and putting their own party politics before what is best for the United States of America." WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama, in a major foreign policy speech in Berlin on Wednesday, is set to make the case for a new phase in nuclear weapons reductions, according to senior U.S. officials briefed on the plans. Despite mounting tensions with Cold War adversary Russia over the Syrian civil war and missile-defense, Mr. Obama is expected in the speech to say that the U.S. and Russia can reduce their arsenals of deployed nuclear weapons by up to another one-third, beyond the cuts mandated under the 2010 New START, or Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, without undercutting deterrence

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
