Hillary Clinton is ending her tenure as secretary of state in fiery fashion. "You really get the sense that [Mrs.] Clinton barely managed to restrain herself from dropping an F-bomb there," remarks New York magazine´s Dan Amira. He refers to an exchange between the secretary and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing this morning. Johnson pressed her about the administration´s conflicting explanations for the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. "With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans,"
If Hillary does run for president I have a great idea for a campaign add.............."what difference does it make" then you show pictures of the 4 dead American heros at Benghazi...this was a big mistake....she also said something very interesting in testimony at the hearing in the Senate...she said she personally tasked Chris Stevens to the post in Libya....I would think that if she personally did that wouldn´t you think she would be very interested in all cables as to his security.........
Ambassadors, with the exception of U.N. ambassador, report to the secretary of state. That creates a privileged line of communications from ambassadors to hillary. as Secretary of State. And as was noted above, Hillary and Stevens had a special relationship. So when libya was descending into chaos, and the brits and the red cross bailed out of benghazi, and Stevens was begging for additional security, Hillary was not reading his cables. That is peculiar, and if she told the truth, indefensible. Finally, I know something about federal employment. And when Hillary said the four state department people responsible for the security lapse had to be on paid leave, due to government regulations, that was a huge lie. They could have been fired, with appeals available to them. Instead, they are on extended paid vacations. Hillary is, indeed, a congenital liar.
"What difference does it make?" Ask the families of the 4 dead Americans. Ask those same families how they´d feel if the knew that that ceremony you and barack put on for their display didn´t actually have the bodies of their loved ones in the caskets. Ask them what difference it would make if they knew that you staged that event because it fit into the campaign´s timelines and the bodies couldn´t actually arrive for almost 4 more hours--but that wouldn´t fit into the schedule.
This is totally disgusting and it is obvious that the Dumbs and the Liberals are in charge...what difference does it make?...it makes a whole lot of difference to We the People! Are all Dumbs and Liberals this incompetent?
If I were the Republicans in the House I would bring in those families to testify before she speaks to the House panel. The Senate Republicans should do a press event with the families showing their outrage with what she said. Joe Biden would help them put it together and could use the footage for ads in Iowa & N.H.!
Evidently the families aren´t outraged, or they would have found a platform to speak from. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. hillary must have had a drama coach, and she was well rehearsed, especially her faux rage. She did what she does best, LIE.
Why´d the GOP allow her to get away with this false strawman... A book or a few guys walking down the street? NOOOO It´s a book vs a well organized Al Qaeda attack, financed by Obama´s Muslim Brotherhood.
Not to worry... now we are sending them bombers & tanks!
President Obama has found someone to blame for the Affordable Care Act´s rolling failures besides Republicans. ObamaCare is the government´s fault, not his. On Thursday, Mr. Obama dropped by American University for a heart to heart with Chris Matthews, and the MSNBC host wondered who in the executive branch is responsible for the botched health-care rollout. Mr. Obama listed a few impersonal culprits including "cynicism," "Washington gridlock" and "the management of government," but he then drifted into another classic. "The challenge, I think, that we have going forward is not so much my personal management style or particular issues around White House
Jobs Report: November´s numbers were stronger than expected, a phrase rarely uttered since this president took the economic reins. But while a bigger number is always better, one good month now and then won´t cut it. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the economy created 203,000 jobs in November, 196,000 of which were in the private sector. Now at 7%, the unemployment rate has fallen to the lowest level in five years. What´s more, unlike in previous months, the rate´s drop came from gains in employment, not from people dropping out of the labor force. The labor force participation rate actually
Executive Orders: A liberal constitutional scholar warns of the concentration of power not only in the hands of one branch of government but in a single man who ignores the Constitution and acts of Congress on a whim. As the story goes, Benjamin Franklin emerged from Independence Hall at the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on Sept. 18, 1787, when a woman asked, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" Franklin is said to have replied, "A republic, madam — if you can keep it." The Founders designed a system of checks and balances among three
Most presidents have politically troublesome relatives: Jimmy Carter had colorful brother Billy, Bill Clinton had brother Roger, and the George Bushes had son/brother Neil, who was involved in both the savings-and-loan scandal of the 1980s and Asian "sex romps" that emerged in a messy 2003 divorce. Obama has a passel of half-siblings, but his requisite nettlesome relative may turn out to be an uncle, Onyango (Omar) Obama. In August 2011, Uncle Omar was pulled over in Framingham, Mass., for driving under the influence. His arrest revealed both several outstanding orders for his deportation and his relationship to the
RUSH: Here is Wolf Blitzer. Last night on The Situation Room, Wolf Blitzer had in Fareed Zakaria GPS. I guess Fareed had his location device with him. He calls himself "Fareed Zakaria GPS." When you´re with him, I guess, you always know where you are. And they´re talking about the impact of the passing of Nelson Mandela, and this is classic. Listen to Wolf here... BLITZER: Is it overly naive to hope and pray that maybe the death of Nelson Mandela will inspire some of those world leaders out there right now to do the right thing, to recognize that bloodshed and
WASHINGTON — Without Nelson Mandela, there might never have been a President Obama. That is the strong impression conveyed from Mr. Obama, whose political and personal bonds to Mr. Mandela, the former South African president, transcended their single face-to-face meeting, which took place at a hotel here in 2005. It was the fight for racial justice in South Africa by Mr. Mandela that first inspired a young Barack Obama to public service, the American president recalled on Thursday evening after hearing that Mr. Mandela, the 95-year-old world icon, had died. Mr. Obama delivered his first public speech, in 1979, at
RUSH: We mentioned earlier that Obama didn´t know that Obama was living with his uncle, who happened to be an illegal alien at the time. Here´s Jay Carney. This is yesterday afternoon in Washington the White House at the daily briefing. Ed Henry, the Fox News White House correspondent, said, "The White House said that in 2011, that there was no record of Obama and his uncle, Omar Obama, ever meeting. Now the Boston Globe is being told by the White House -- and I assume you can elaborate here, Jay -- that, in fact, they not only met, but
I have never been much of a conspiracy theorist. For me it was always Oswald by himself from the Texas School Book Depository and nothing in the intervening fifty years has disabused me of this notion. For the most part, I’m an Occam’s Razor kind of guy — the most obvious explanation is likely to be true. (Snip) To put it bluntly, Occam’s Razor has moved. Things that were once possibilities now seem almost certainties to me. Principal among those is that Obama’s academic records are perpetually unavailable for a reason — and that reason is most likely that they reveal
Last summer on his $100 million family tour of Africa, Barack Obama hoped for a priceless photo op with Nelson Mandela, the ailing freedom pioneer who went from prison cell to the presidency of South Africa. Mandela´s family suggested that wouldn’t happen. So, the Obamas did a photo op in Mandela´s former prison cell. Which Obama’s White House quickly tweeted upon word of the icon´s passing at 95. [Skip] But Obama was also caught staring at television coverage of Mandela’s passing, which became Obama’s Photo of the Day.
Hardly a week goes by without Hillary Clinton receiving another award. Last month she was named a “Global Champion” by the International Medical Corps, received the American Patriot Award at the National Defense University Foundation and the Hermandad Award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative. [Snip] At this rate, if a bunch of elderly left-wing Swedes toss her the Nobel Peace Prize early on, the way they did to Obama, it will barely rate mention among all the other glittering trophies that have been bestowed on a woman whose only actual accomplishment was being married to a crooked governor with
Speaker John Boehner said his party should support gay Republican congressional candidates and urged his colleagues to “be a little more sensitive” when running against women. “Some of our members just aren’t as sensitive as they ought to be,” Boehner said. When asked if he thinks his party should support gay candidates, Boehner simply said: “I do.”
In February, the Bush family’s personal emails were hacked by Guccifer, a hacker who uncovered photographs of former President George H. W. Bush in a hospital bed and George W. Bush’s oil paintings in the process. It seems Guccifer has struck again, this time targeting former President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Library. The hacker has reportedly uncovered doodles of Clinton drawing on what were, at the time, classified documents. Among the doodles is apparently a picture of a penis. The document uncovered is a briefing of the strategic measures the United States could take prior Clinton’s decision to intervene in
Denver - A baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony must serve gay couples despite his religious beliefs or face fines, a judge said Friday. The order from administrative law judge Robert N. Spencer said Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver discriminated against a couple "because of their sexual orientation by refusing to sell them a wedding cake for their same-sex marriage." The order says the cake-maker must "cease and desist from discriminating" against gay couples. Although the judge did not impose fines in this case, the business will face penalties if it continues to turn away gay
Amid an array of “knock-out” attacks against a number of Jews in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood, a city councilwoman pointed to the success of the Jewish community as triggering the aggression. Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo emphasized that while she “admire[s] the Jewish community immensely” for its work ethic, black teens may see it differently. “While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success,” Cumbo, who was recently elected, wrote in a letter. Chief among the issues
