| Bristol Palin´s former beau Levi Johnston was pummeled and ´nearly stabbed´ by his new wife during a boozy New Year´s Eve attack, a shocking new report claims. Johnston, 22, of Wasilla, Alaska, married Sunny Oglesby - the mother of his second child - in October months after she became pregnant with a girl, whom the couple named Breeze Beretta after the Italian firearm. But their wedded bliss may have taken a back seat on New Year´s Eve, when Sunny allegedly attacked Johnston in front of horrified family members.

I´m surprised that Todd Palin didn´t whup up on Levi when he and Bristol were together. Bristol is so much better off without him.

As the father of a beutiful and intelligent Bum Magnet, I think I know the way Sarah and Todd are feeling right about now.
Thankfully I can really say father of a former bum magnet, she FINALLY found a really good young man worthy of her trust and companionship. But her mother and I did the happy dance more than once after being informed of the over delayed break-ups.

It seems that Karma has visited Levi. It´s too bad that a child is now involved.
#10 One of our daughters had the same "magnetism." We dodged two major Bum bullets...and then he found a studious responsible guy and married him. He´s now the father of our two beautiful grandsons.
Every time I clean out a drawer and find a picture or note from a past disaster, I say a prayer of thanks. (And then shred the thing)

I couldn´t finish reading the article, but it seems like he is the victim. She thought he didnt think she was pretty enough. I will wear a denim ribbon for Levi. Usually, there is something wrong with the bum magnet if they don´t rebuff the bums.

I have to say that the Palin´s really dishonored their brand, letting their daughter marry this guy, divorce this guy, go on "Dancing with the Stars" and having an (unwatched) reality show. WHAT are they thinking? They let us all down.

#19, Bristol did not marry Levi Johnston. She briefly got back together with him, but they never married. I don´t blame Sarah and Todd because their daughter got pregnant by a loser. They´re not the first parents this ever happened to. They won´t be the last. To Bristol´s credit, she is taking care of her child. It´s not like she´s doing porn.

#19, are the sins of the kids now supposed to be visited on the parents? What say did Sarah and Todd have in any of Bristol´s actions? After all, she is/was an adult through all that. Am I supposed to be responsible for all my kids´ choices once they are adults? I will give Bristol credit for dumping the bum, ad she raises the child on her own. She is not living off her parents, and I fail to see what is wrong with having a reality show, even though it fails. As for dancing with the Stars, do you say the same for all celebrities who appear there? Is there nothing she can do to please you, other than going to work as a sales clerk for peanuts? One more question; jexactly how did her parents let us down?

Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built. The 54-39 vote to reject the fence shows the core of the immigration deal is holding. The vote broke mostly along party lines, though five Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio and the rest of the bill’s authors, voted against the fence, and two Democrats voted for it. Republicans had offered the fence as a way to

He discusses the history of the Republican Party, founded as an Abolitionist Movement in 1854. Guillory talks about how the welfare state is only a mechanism for politicians to control the black community. Hello, my name is Elbert Lee Guillory, and I’m the senator for the twenty-fourth district right here in beautiful Louisiana. Tough global rules to stop mega-rich firms and individuals from dodging tax were unveiled at the G8 summit today. David Cameron demanded the world’s most powerful countries act to stop countries shifting profits to low-cost tax havens instead of paying they dues where there are earned. The Lough Erne Declaration - signed by the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia - vows to ´fight the scourge of tax evasion´ by ensuring automatic exchange of tax information and changing the rules to stop multinational companies shifting profits across borders to avoid paying their fair share.

A controversial federal agency subject to little congressional oversight has advised its employees to include minimal details about agency events on work calendars that are subject to Freedom of Information Act requests. In a flier circulated to employees and obtained by the government watchdog group Cause of Action, the bureau’s FOIA office instructs employees to “keep your calendar entries brief and general.” The guidance has some observers concerned that the agency is instructing its employees to be more opaque in its daily operations. “Transparency is at the core of our agenda, and it is a key part

On ‘Morning Joe’ this morning, the slightly thinner Gov. Chris Christie R-N.J. dodged 2016 presidential speculation by announcing that he would not wear a Speedo swimsuit on the Fourth of July. “I can announce I’m not wearing the Speedo on the Fourth of July, that’s something I’m happy to announce” Christie joked after MSNBC’s Willie Geist pressed the governor for his political aspirations. Christie has reportedly lost 40 pounds after a successful lap-band surgery earlier this year. Later in the show, Christie explained that during a visit Jersey Shore on Monday, he was approached by several young women

On Wednesday, at two rallies bracketing the Capitol, Tea Party and conservative activists will again take center-stage on two issues dominating the national political dialogue. Reps. Steve King, Michele Bachmann and other members of the Tea Party Caucus will host a nearly day-long dialogue and discussion on immigration reform. On the other side of the Capitol, Tea Party grass roots organizations will hold a rally to "Audit the IRS," in response to the agency´s efforts to intimidate conservative organizations. The immigration event hosted by Rep. King begins at 9am on the East side of the Capitol.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
