Clinton Shouts: ´What
Difference ... Does It Make?´

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/23/2013 11:12:54 AM

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked about ascertaining whether the Benghazi terror attack was the result of a protest by Senator Ron Johnson. "What difference, at this point, does it make?" Clinton shouted, seemingly losing her cool. "With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Comments:
What a shocking display of indifference. The Democrats treat her like a delicate flower and all they want to discuss is the alleged lack of funding for security in Benghazi. It is sickening to watch.

Typical. Using the woman logic. Give it up Republicans. The hearing is a loser.

Shouted like a true alcoholic - giving credence to her falls and blackouts.
Rand Paul is holding her to account.
Is Obama arming AQ in Africa just like they armed the Mexican cartels in Mexico?

Rand Paul just shocked me and smacked PIAPS good. The only problem is, Herself can claim that lie of "transparency," while saying she accepts responsibility, yet won´t quit in disgrace. can´t have that in her 2016 resume.

Why am I torturing myself listening to this cheap political drama?

Every one of those "Senators" except for Rand Paul needs to be wearing a bib.

They´re slobbering all over their expensive neckties.

"methinks thou dost protest too much!" It´s not important to find out why? Seriously, Mrs. Clinton? Then how can we prevent future attacks? As soon as someone gets close, she fumes. What next, crying?

The PIAPS is trying to prove her manhood.

The DIFFERENCE it makes is that you lied - as often as you could so as to protect yourself and the poseur that hired you. A terrorist attack during a presidential campaign is not ideal, so the video lie was projected far and wide. You refused the ambassador the security he asked for, and your boss refused help three times once the attack was underway.

Can´t stand to watch. Does anyone know if the question "Who gave the stand down order?" has been asked?

It sounds to me like this woman has gone off the deep end. What difference does it make? Every bit it we can learn something that will help keep other Americans safe. It makes a great deal of difference if this administration is going to hunt down and prosecute the killers. It makes a difference if this was a set-up, or a botched running deal, like some have posited. It makes every bit of difference to the family members that have lost loved ones. It makes a difference if you could have foreseen a problem, didn´t act, then continued along as if nothing happened (rather than resigning in disgrace). Hillary Clinton is a laughingstock that rode the coattails of her husband to the Peter Principle pedestal.

Reply 11 - Posted by: big red navy cheif, 1/23/2013 11:38:41 AM     (No. 9134259)

The difference it makes is the key, Hillary. Did you lie, along with Susan and Obama and all the rest, to cover up things having gone wrong? Were you hiding behind a pre-arranged cover story, like it appears? Were you aware - contrary to what you claim, but should have known - that there was a credible threat to the embassy there?
Why scream about if it matters - this was your offered explanation. Yeah, it matters. It establishes whether or not you´re a liar.

Reply 12 - Posted by: Trixlette, 1/23/2013 11:39:49 AM     (No. 9134262)

4 murdered Americans and she has the nerve to ask what difference it makes? One could ask that here in Chicago, when children are gunned down in the streets by gang bangers, what difference does it make, they are dead, nothing is gonna change that, just let it go? And as it being personal, "you betcha" she along with obama are both personally responsible for what happened in Benghazi.

What difference does it make who killed the American ambassador and his staff? What difference does it make why they were killed?

Unbelievable. This confirms what many of us have long suspected, that Hillary is not the brightest bulb in the room.

According to our secretary of state it doesn´t matter who killed the Americans or why. They might as well have been victims of an armed robbery. The only thing that matters is that they are dead and Hillary is moved to tears about it.

She continues to say that she accepts responsibility. She isn´t the first nor will she be the last. What exactly does that mean? Nothing. I´m just venting because it drives me crazy.

Hillary thought it made a difference when she made up the story about the video to avoid telling the truth. Lying to the public when you hold an office of public trust makes a difference Hillary. I wish you had some integrity, and were able to tell the truth, but you don´t.

It makes all the difference in the World, because the Obama policies in the Middle East have promoted the agenda of the terrorists, including AlQueda, made martyrs out of hoodlums, filled the area with weapons of all types, created massive unrest in that part of the World, caused the deaths of thousands
of people, many innocent of anything, supported the overthrow of Governments in other Countries to the detriment of the U.S., ( Is that treason ? ), given all the Islamic radicals more cause to hate Americans
and other similar nations, and essentially given ALL of the disparate groups a common cause to band together AGAINST us. and we still send millions, if not billions, of dollars to Countries that for decades were
our allies and have turned into our enemies. Obama has unleashed He@@ on Earth and calls it an Arab Spring, as if it is a grand renewal of these people´s love and respect for the U>S>. He is a terribly ignorant man
responsible for misery, death, destruction, and hatred for millions of people.(All my opinion ),

The difference it makes, Madam Secretary,is whether you are credible or not. You stood, along with the President, over the coffins of the dead and discussed a movie as the cause, not an organized terrorist attack. We must know why you did that - that is the difference it makes.

This is why the libtards wanted to get out front on this by having the senate - controlled by libtards - do the dog and pony show. The house should be grilling her, without all the flowery excess verbiage - just get to the heart of the documented lies and require answers for where are the survivors, what caliber ammo was used, who gave the stand-down orders, where did the weapons come from for the terrorists, and why is that video guy in jail, etc...

I am astounded. "What difference does it make ?" she asks ????

What difference does anything make to these people ? For one thing, our country´s sons and daughters are being sent out under the command of the United States government and they DESERVE to be protected as much as possible. Did the ambassador get support he deserved or was his cry for help swept under the rug for political expediency ?

She´s there to answer questions and see where they might lead. It does not matter if SHE thinks they are relevent or not.

I wish someone had the guts to say "just answer the questions Mrs Clinton".

What difference does it make?

The difference between a chance at the presidency and losing her power.

As long as she can dance around the responsibility and go on the offensive (that means shout the questioner down, when you don´t like the question), she can run for President and list all her amazing accomplishments, like closing the barn door after the diplomats are dead, things like that. Now we will be reading ad nauseum how much she personally is doing to beef up security in all our embassies, so the tragedy that she had nothing to do with causing, never happens again.

And by the way, it was the Republican´s fault.

Mrs Clinton can yell all she wants. The U.S. State Dept was derelict in its duty to respond to numerous pleas for help from our officials in Lybia and people died because of the inaction. PURPOSEFUL inaction over months. The Democrats NEVER want to tell the truth or take responsibility for their action or lack thereof. Blame it all on anything else than other than THEMSELVES. What is almost as bad is the awful possibility that this was caused by the Administration "plot" to give/sell arms to terrorists in that region. WHERE ARE THE SURVIVORS of this incident and why are they being completely
held incognito. It seems incomprehensible that none will talk publicly, so what is going on?

Officially and repeatedly blaming it on a video most muslims had never heard of made a heck of alot of difference to the dozens of people killed and injured in the ensuing riots in other muslim countries, a life or death difference in fact. The blood of these are on the hands of Zippy and Butch of Benghazi as well and I wish just one of our Republican congress critters would point this out during the hearings.

DENVER — Colorado sheriffs upset with gun restrictions adopted in the aftermath of last year’s mass shootings filed a federal lawsuit Friday, challenging the regulations as unconstitutional. The lawsuit involves sheriffs from 54 of Colorado’s 64 counties, most representing rural, gun-friendly areas of the state. The sheriffs say the new state laws violate Second Amendment protections that guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. Opponents are criticizing the lawsuit as political maneuvering. The filing targets Colorado laws that limit the size of ammunition magazines and expand background checks. The regulations

WASHINGTON – Jay Devereaux hadn’t paid much attention to the daily drumbeat of partisan politics in D.C. He wasn’t a Washington nerd, and didn’t know who said what during congressional hearings -- nor did he care. But when news broke that the government was using taxpayer money to bail out Wall Street banks, he started paying attention and didn’t like what he was hearing. So the Florida father and information technology specialist decided to form a group, Unite in Action, to educate people in his area about the issues, he said.

WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans, not resting with the Internal Revenue Service scandal, are moving to broaden the matter to an array of tax malfeasances and “intimidation tactics” they hope will ensnare the White House. Republican charges range from the clearly questionable to the seemingly specious, and they grow by the day. On Friday, lawmakers sought to tie the I.R.S. matter to the implementation of President Obama’s health care law, which will rely heavily on the agency. Whether they succeed holds significant ramifications for Mr. Obama,

Bloodletting, in the form of firings, dismissals, resignation, and expulsions, is a tribal rite in political Washington. It is most often used by the powerful on anyone less powerful as a symbolic sacrifice. Steven Miller, the now former acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, is the latest victim of ritual sacrifice. This week the Obama White House demanded his resignation to demonstrate the president’s “anger” at news that the IRS targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status for added review and slow approval. Next, we’ll watch as Congress takes up the bloodletting knife.

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. A healthcare provider has sued the Internal Revenue Service and 15 of its agents, charging they wrongfully seized 60 million medical records from 10 million Americans. The name of the provider is not yet known, United Press International said. But Courthouse News Service said the suit claims the agency violated the Fourth Amendment in 2011, when agents executed a search warrant for financial data on one employee – and that led to the seizure of information on 10 million, including state judges. The search warrant did not specify that the IRS could take medical information, UPI said.
