Ben Shapiro: ‘NBC News is a
disaster area, an unholstered
weapon for the left

Daily Caller, by Jamie Weinstein

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro says in a new book that conservatives are getting bullied by the liberals — even by mild-mannered NBC news anchor Brian Williams. “Brian Williams is an excellent example of how the media bullies the right,” said Shapiro, author of the new book ”Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences Americans,” in an email. “He claims objectivity, but he’s obviously a leftist. I don’t mind bias – I’m biased. But I don’t lie about it. He sits atop NBC News, then allows his news outlet to slander George Zimmerman as a ‘white’ guy

"then allows his news outlet to slander George Zimmerman as a ‘white’ guy".

So much for White Privilege when it´s now considered a slander to be called white.

Ben Shapiro is becoming a powerful, articulate conservative spokesman.

Here in MA, the bullies are out in force. The other day, at a meeting at the town library, during a social exchange, a woman criticized our democrat governor. I was in awe of her bravery. And she knew it was a dangerous position by the look in her eyes and on her face. And, thinking those thoughts about her bravery, I mourned my lost country.

FTA "Instead of responding to accusations of racism by calling out their accusers as cheap smear artists who forward racism by watering down the term, conservatives try to explain why they aren’t racist. That’s a losing tactic.”

This times Eleventy! Shapiro´s book should be a must read for any Republican in DC. No one in the media is your friend, people! I think Brian Williams gets away with his mendacity b/c he looks like a nice guy, and he does his comedy shtick on Letterman, 30 Rock.

That snarky degenerate Brian Williams doesn´t bully me because I refuse to let NBC News onto my tv screen.

I listened to a prime example of bias yesterday. NPR was interviewing people on the availability of guns. An interview was made with a lady who had survived the shootings at the Luby´s in Killeen, Texas. The lady had been having lunch with her mother and father and had lost them both to ther shooter. She has been angry since because she carried a gun in her purse, but being an honest citizen she did not bring it into the Luby´s as it was against the law. The interviewer tried her best to say that the carryng of the gun would have not mattered and what about guns being used by depressed people to commit suicide. The interviewer asked every question that gun control people have yet did not ask a question for a pro-gun point of view. The lady answering the questions matched her point for point I am happy to say.

The poisoning of higher education is the cruelest chapter in this book.

There are many, many cases of brilliant young conservatives who took the hint that the doors to all the highly paid professions would remain closed to them until they reformed their heretical ideas.

How can the utter simplicity and honesty and success of the free market be losing ground to the wicked foolishness of the left ??

Sarah Palin, Tea Party save America
The Hill, by Bernie Quigley    Original Article

This morning from The Washington Post’s Kathleen Parker: "Breaking news: Conservative organizations suddenly have found common cause with one of their favorite objects of contempt — the benighted Mainstream Media ... Or as the tea party queen and former Alaska governor likes to put it, the ‘lamestream media.’ In a twist of irony, the two groups have coalesced around a common enemy: the U.S. government.” (Snip) But truth be told, there would be no Tea Party today had there not been a Sarah Palin to egg it on and advance it.

Sarah Palin said Friday that the elite media would never let a Republican president get away with what Barack Obama has done in his push for new gun laws. The former Alaska governor recalled that the national press “tore apart” George W. Bush for using “fleeting images” from Sept. 11, 2001, during his 2004 reelection campaign. At the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting, Palin slammed Obama for flying the grieving parents of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Air Force One and then “making them backdrops” at rallies. “That same media is now the reliable poodle-skirted cheerleader

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”. The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.(From our earlier report: Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians--including chaplains--sharing the gospel

To say that Sarah Palin shook things up by taking to Twitter to express her displeasure at the nonchalant nose-rubbing going on at the White House Correspondent´s Dinner Saturday night would be an understatement. It doesn´t matter who you are. If you watched the White House Correspondent´s Dinner and simultaneously possessed one shred of passion for the future of our country with regards to crony capitalism and corruption, it´s pretty easy to determine the overwhelming consensus of the event. The media is supposed to exist to hold these people accountable. Instead, they choose to play

Feinstein: Don’t treat Boston Marathon
bombing suspect as enemy combatant

The surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings should not be treated as an enemy combatant, Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Sunday morning. “I do not believe under the military commission law that he is eligible for that. It would be unconstitutional to do that,” Feinstein said on “Fox News Sunday.” Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the sole surviving suspect in last Monday’s bombings, was taken into custody Friday. Federal officials said they plan to use a public safety exception to delay reading Tsarnaev his "Miranda" rights.

Mainstream media publications immediately exploited the passing of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday to again advance their political agendas by falsely smearing former Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. In a rush to write whatever they could to tarnish both, outlets like Politico and the Washington Post resorted to "reporting" on a fictitious story and an imaginary trip that have already been debunked years ago. The Post, a publication known for its liberal agenda, immediately "re-upped" the debunked story about Thatcher having snubbed Palin when Chris Cillizza,

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, is gearing up for 2014. Her SarahPAC came out with a video on Wednesday aimed at fueling the conservative fires for a dramatic comeback in the midterm elections. The “Loaded for Bear” video features tea party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz talking of Mrs. Palin’s successes in the 2010 election that saw the rise of Sens. Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and Jeff Flake, Breitbart reports. “Sarah Palin picks winners,” Mr. Cruz says in the video. And the statement does hold truth. Former Sen. Jim DeMint,

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Is the worm turning against Barack Obama? After four-plus years of being given the benefit of the doubt by the bulk of the US media, the President now suddenly feels more vulnerable. Today both the New York Times and the Washington Post have run prominent and angry editorials and columns slamming the administration for its attempt to criminalise a Fox News reporter James Rosen for working a State Department source to obtain a story. The "Rosen Affair"--as it is now known--is poisoning the well in Washington at an alarming rate for Mr Obama, with an indignant White House press corps
