| Collin County Sheriff Terry Box says he, nor his deputies, will enforce unconstitutional gun laws put in place by whom he calls misguided politicians. In the statement, Box said the following: In light of recent events I feel I need to make a public statement of my views on this subject. As the Sheriff of Collin County, Texas, I have for the past 28 years served to protect and keep safe all citizens of our county, recognizing the trust placed in me with this profoundly important responsibility. He was hired to enforce the law. Judges are hired to decide if laws are constitutional. If he wants to be in the business of deciding law, he should run for judge. But once hired to enforce the laws, then he needs to follow the laws and enforce them, whether he personally likes them or not.
This is no different from a bartender deciding that he won´t serve liquor because he personally doesn´t agree with drinking. If you don´t want to serve liquor as a bartender, then go find another job.

Collin County is next to Dallas County. The Collin County sheriff wants people to be able to defend themselves. The sheriff of Dallas county is a lesbian who toes the liberal agenda. Where would you feel safer?

CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE
Summary – A General Resolution to take an express political position on a matter of public policy regarding the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012.
A GENERAL RESOLUTION TO TAKE AN EXPRESS POLITICAL POSITION ON A MATTER OF PUBLIC POLICY REGARDING THE NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012, THE DANGERS IT POSES TO CIVIL LIBERTIES, A CALL FOR THE CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF TO PROTECT CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES IN HIS JURISDICTION; AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Clark County Republican Central Committee, does hereby declare as follows:
SECTION 1.
WHEREAS, the United States Constitution is the foundational instrument of liberty, and
the Supreme Law of the United States; and
WHEREAS, Sheriff Douglas Gillespie; as well as his deputies have sworn under oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution; and
WHEREAS, the National Defense Authorization Act For Fiscal Year 2012 (NDAA) sections 1021 and 1022 assert that the executive branch of the U. S. government has the authority to order the U.S. military to detain American citizens without producing a search warrant, and also to place such detainees into military custody at an undisclosed location without due process or benefit of legal counsel, and also to assassinate U.S. Citizens; and
WHEREAS, NDAA sections 1021 and 1022, are on their face, blatant attacks on the United States Constitution, specifically Amendments 4,5,6, and 8 of our Bill of Rights; and
WHEREAS, NDAA sections 1021 and 1022, deny the United States Citizens other fundamental rights protected under the United States Constitution such as Habeas Corpus; and

WHEREAS, NDAA will allow the President to treat the United States of America as a “battlefield” and its citizens as though they were foreign enemies, subjecting them to the “law of war” and martial law; and
WHEREAS, a primary concern of the Clark County Republican Party is the constitutional rights and freedom of every American citizen in Clark County, Nevada.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Clark County Republican Party requests Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie to publicly state that Clark County, Nevada is not a battlefield, absent a declaration of war duly approved by Congress; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Clark County Republican Party requests Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie to publicly state that he will not enforce the imposition of martial law, absent a declaration of war duly approved by Congress; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Clark County Republican Party requests Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie to publicly state that he will not aid or participate in the unconstitutional arrest, detainment, torture, assassination, or extraordinary rendition of any United States citizen in Clark County, Nevada.
SECTION 2. This resolution is hereby introduced by motion of individual Clark County Republican Central Committee member Dirk Tejan.
SECTION 3. This amendment shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage at the close of the meeting of the Clark County Republican Central Committee at which it was passed.

The riots, which have shattered Sweden´s image abroad as a peaceful and egalitarian nation, have sparked a debate about the assimilation of immigrants, who make up about 15 percent of the population. Many of the immigrants who have arrived due to the country´s generous refugee policy struggle to learn the language and find employment, despite numerous government programmes.

A Pakistan International Airlines plane at the centre of a security alert has landed at Stansted airport after being escorted by RAF fighter jets. The plane, flight number PK709, took off from Lahore with 297 people aboard and had been due to land at Manchester airport at 2pm. However, the Guardian understands that the pilot, concerned about a disruptive passenger who had started shouting, asked to divert to Stansted, London´s third airport, as a precaution. The pilot was then satisfied the incident had been resolved. However, the passenger is likely to be escorted off the plane at Stansted.

RAF fighter jets have escorted a Pakistan International Airlines aircraft from Manchester Airport to Stansted Airport, a Ministry of Defence spokesman has said. Police have confirmed that two men have been arrested on suspicion of endangerment of an aircraft after the plane landed safely at Stansted. According to a security source, early indications are that the aircraft was not the target of a terror attack. There are understood to have been 297 passengers on board, who were travelling from Lahore, and it was due to land at 1.40pm. The aircraft was heading west towards Manchester when it was suddenly re-routed

Giving a speech on counter-terrorism policy at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., today, President Barack Obama explained that when deciding whether to target terrorists with drones—whether or not the terrorists are U.S. citizens—he has set a “high threshold” of respect for human life. “But the high threshold that we have set for taking lethal action applies to all potential terrorist targets, regardless of whether or not they are American citizens,” Obama said. “This threshold respects the inherent dignity of every human life.”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”
