| At least three people are believed to be injured after two gunmen opened fire on a Texas college campus this afternoon. A spokesperson from Lone Star College in Houston confirmed shots were fired between two people at the North Harris campus and that one of them had been detained. Police are currently searching a wooded area north of the campus for another gunman who fled the building--which is on lock down and said to be under control. Unconfirmed reports say the gun fire was between two students and the injured got caught in the crossfire. Another man was said to have suffered

Any and all shootings in or near an institution of learning is hot news for the MSM now-a-days. Let´s watch how they spin this into "guns run amok on campus" and try to make people believe human beings had absolutely nothing to do with it.

This was a "Fight" that happened to play out at a school.
Not quite as creepy as a nutter shooting innocent children.
But close enough to add one more arrow to the quiver of the grabbers.

Thank God for the Lone Ranger, he came riding Silver down the street, and announced to the out of breath TV Networks that it was all clear and they could resume their analysis of what Moochie wore last night.

Count on this: The only "facts" we´ll get are the ones that fit the narrative, even if they have to make them up.

I love the responses from other nations about how America is so violent. I just tell them, "you´re right! NEVER come here!"
Will that keep them away? We can only hope.

I am far from being a conspiracy theorist, and I know about copycats, but this is starting to look like a coordinated campaign. One can readily imagine scumbama saying "will no one rid me of this troublesome 2nd Amendment."

Oh, come on! "Opened fire"; yeah, on each other. The headline makes it sound as if two masked commandos, acting together, started deliberately spraying co-eds with bullets. No pictures or tell-tale names, but I´m guessing there´s a 90% chance both these morons are from one of America´s more "vibrant" communities. As someone else wrote recently, America doesn´t need gun control, it needs black control.

Well said #17 - also, I heard a caller on talk radio one day make a really good point. He said, "You never hear of anybody walking into a gun show or a police station & doing this." Tell that to the libs who try to argue that "gun-free" zones are a good idea.

#15 - Thanks for that report. I was going to comment that this was my assumption when two young men have a shootout. Almost always gangs and drugs, and very high probability of black or hispanics. But it would be racist to notice that most violent crimes are committed by minorities.

A 91-year-old WWII veteran fighting to prevent his daughter from evicting him from his Ohio home has raised more than $138,000 from online donors to buy back his home, easily surpassing his goal. John Potter says he´s ´amazed´ by the more than 5,000 people who have donated toward his original $125,000 goal while telling his granddaughter, Jaclyn Fraley, ´I never knew people could love an old man so much.´ After Mr Potter´s daughter sent him an eviction notice earlier this year, Ms Fraley organized the desperate fundraiser for him in April while sharing with the public his dire situation.

The return of ´animal spirits’ usually points to better times, but it’s more complicated now. One of the defining characteristics of an asset bubble is that most professional money men know one when they see one, but on the “greater fool theory”--the belief that when making a questionable investment there is always some idiot willing to pay even more--are very reluctant to leave it.[Snip] With equity prices again hitting new, post-credit-crunch highs--the FTSE 100 is nearly back to its turn-of-the-century peak, and the US S&P 500 already is--the old question has arisen anew: are we once again in

On May 3 1999, Moore was one of several cities left devastated after 74 tornadoes touched down across Oklahoma and Kansas in just 21 hours. Following a path similar to yesterday´s lethal twister, the storms that struck the city 14 years ago to the month left 46 dead and 800 injured. Due to the high number of mobile homes and less robust housing in this part of the US, more than 8,000 homes were destroyed. It caused almost $1.5 billion in property damage making it the fourth costliest in the world. The National Weather Service also recorded wind speeds

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama says he is instructing his disaster response team to get tornado victims in Oklahoma everything they need "right away." Obama calls the devastation that tore through the Oklahoma City suburbs, quote, "one of the most destructive tornados in history," even though he said the extent of the damage is still unknown. Obama spoke Tuesday after an Oval Office briefing on the latest developments from his disaster response team and as Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Craig Fugate was heading to Oklahoma. Obama has declared a major disaster in Oklahoma, ordering federal aid to supplement state

Dan Pfeiffer’s job title is “senior advisor to the president for strategy and communications.” And on five television shows Sunday, he all too clearly communicated the White House’s strategy of remaining unclear on pertinent details about scandals now dogging President Barack Obama. “Fox News” host Chris Wallace pressed Mr. Pfeiffer on “one lingering question” about last Sept. 11’s terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya: “What did the president do that night?” After Mr. Pfeiffer tried a few end runs, Mr. Wallace asked: “Was he in the Situation Room?”

Latest - 10.33 (04.33) This from the New York Times: When the tornado sirens went off around 2.15pm, the staff of the AgapeLand Learning Centre, a day care facility, moved 15 children into two bathrooms, draping them with a protective covering and singing songs with them to keep them calm. As the wind ripped off the roof of one of the bathrooms, they all sang "You Are My Sunshine" to remain calm. None of the children were harmed. 10.25 (04.25) KFOR news has provided us with a map of the paths of the various tornadoes to hit Moore

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
