| If anyone remains in any doubt that the next four years will be a relentless exercise in left-wing presidential radicalism, look no further than Barack Obama’s second inaugural address. This was not a president in any mood to reach out across the political aisle, or to give words of comfort to the nearly 60 million Americans who did not vote for him last November. His address was defiant and divisive, projecting his firm commitment to seeing through his avowedly liberal agenda in the face of concerted opposition on Capitol Hill and in the 30 states which have Republican Governors.

In effect, Obama accuses any American who dissents from his Democrat/Socialism of being a heartless, greedy racist. "Either you´re with the Left, or you´re a bad person". This, from what once was the office of the leader of the free world. No more.

A white liberal with Obama´s record and far left positions would be walking around homeless by now. But because the left has a self interest in promoting a black person,all sins are forgiven.
Nobody knows who the real obama is because everything he does is carefully scripted to fool as many people as possible.
He did a shout out to the climate change nuts yesterday but the real hope is with his donors who stand to gain from more wasted green money.
In a world that´s largely flat broke from various vote buying schemes,some international green nut thinks there´s another $14 trillion lying around to throw at greening the planet.
They´re going to be working double shifts producing platinum dollars soon.

I started counting those 1,400+ days four years ago thinking "How bad could it be? Surely Americans will see the light and stop his agenda." How very wrong I was. Every day for the last 4 years was some new affront, some new poke, some new fresh hell, until I think I started to be numb to it. That´s what he´s counting on.

Great column! But I stipulate a small quibble to this FTA: "... committed to a deeply left-wing agenda that looks more at home in Brussels or Paris than in the land of the free." I would say more at home in Teheran or Pyongyang than Brussels or Paris!

Latest - 10.33 (04.33) This from the New York Times: When the tornado sirens went off around 2.15pm, the staff of the AgapeLand Learning Centre, a day care facility, moved 15 children into two bathrooms, draping them with a protective covering and singing songs with them to keep them calm. As the wind ripped off the roof of one of the bathrooms, they all sang "You Are My Sunshine" to remain calm. The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
