Dress rehearsal for 2016? Bill and Hillary
are all smiles at Inauguration as Democrats
hope for another Clinton presidency

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were warmly welcomed when they walked on to the platform for President Obama’s inauguration. Their entrance may be more than just a show, however, as it could turn into a practice run for Hillary should she run for office in 2016. In addition to renewing the widely-reported speculation that she is the most likely Democratic presidential candidate after Mr Obama finishes his second term, it was also only her second public appearance since her health scare. Mrs Clinton released pictures when she went back to work

The quotes from Gingrich in the article are maddening. He´s either playing some deep jiu-jitsu by talking up Hillary, or his mouth is moving faster than his brain again.

Face lift is not working well, she is still a hag and he is creepy looking. The dems will not win with these 2 but then we thought flapears would not win another term. Fraud will be massive and gingrich should go far away and shut up - with his baggage, he is not wanted.

The RNC needs to get sensibly engaged - now. Gains during the 2014 mid-terms should be easy. Get Rubio on the road - California, with its soon-to-be Hispanic majority. Today is day one of the second term; the opportunities will soon abound.

Here´s waht we do - We start ruining Hillary´s plans today. We fight fire with fire - we give them an even stronger dose than they handed out to their opposition. The Lord knows, we have tons of ammunition - we just need to use it and lob it like Cruise missiles in her direction day after day until she is reduced to a sniveling pile of burned up cinders. I´m done with being a sweet old lady.

#10 is on the money-- America has allowed the sanctity of life to disappear, the rule of law to become a laughingstock, and we are now half amusement park, half patriots fighting for what we once knew was that shining city on a hill.

God is sovereign, and He allows--even ordains the fall of great nations that turn from Him--not unlike the Jews who were swept into exile, eventually dispersed to foreign lands.

Mann cannot turn it around, only God in His mercy and grace if we truly deserve it and if it is in His sovereign will.

There ya go-- a mini sermon for blue Monday!

Seems most people have a greater hope in the political system than I do. Each passing day brings even more despair in what this country has done to itself than any future hope the system could bring. These creatures dominating are politics now are just a reflection of our polluted culture and the indoctrination of our latest generations. It´s up to the individual now, and then, the locality and states. Move to where you´re safe with your own.

This is my heartfelt opinion. All the trouble started back in 2000 when George W. Bush, through incredible alignment of the stars, shot to the top of the heap with very little cred compared to Dad, who labored for years in the trenches.

And what did George W. Bush do with that golden opportunity? He sought to solidify the legacy of George W. Bush rather than groom a successor, which would have helped his party and the nation.

Don´t get me wrong. I have read Dick Cheney´s book and consider him an outstanding American. But he was not an understudy, waiting and learning for the day when the presidency would be his.

Why should the election of 2008 have been a contest between two newcomers to the national stage? The GOP could have had a seasoned veep out there. But, no. And now we live with the result of that decision.

Four years in politics is a very long time. Biden and Hillary Clinton are already looking old and no doubt they will be a lot more older in four years. Besides neither one of them is a shoe in because the Democrats are apt to come up with an Obama clone. You have to remember that in order to win national elections the Democrats need a big black vote. If some Obama clone were to run and then get knocked out of the nomination by either Biden or Clinton in the Democrat primaries, there is a good chance that enough black voters would feel slighted and stay home on election day resulting in the Democrats loosing the general election. So you have to figure that from now on the Democrats are always going to need a black candidate on their ticket.

Reply 28 - Posted by: billa, 1/21/2013 8:44:18 PM     (No. 9131163)

I fear that despite her appearance, age and now, recurring illnesses (real or imagined), that she will receive the nomination, and likely win to have another "historic" election of the first woman pres., cumulative white guilt, black debt for electing BO + continuation of exploding entitlements, celbrity status of her husband (liberals, feminists, college students, illegal immigrants, are itching to have him back).

Even though Biden, as VP is supposed to get the nod, I believe that the more powerful Dems will be way too nervous to let him loose on his own to completely make a fool of himself and the party.

Sorry to disagree with so many posters, but the Dems and media (same thing) don´t care if a Democrat woman looks or is old. She will be talked up as the smartest person in the world after Barack as they help prepare her to beat any Republican out there. And, the stupids of the world will buy it.

Hillary and Biden will both be pretty old, and both have had problems with brain injuries. I don´t think either of them would make it to the Presidency.

We cannot assume that Biden will serve full term. Health issues, for ex, could lead to his resignation in 2015. Person picked to replace him would then be logical front runner for president. Could be Hillary, Andrew Cuomo, Corey Booker or fake squaw, Elizabeth Warren. Not sure Senate would confirm the Mooch if Obama nominated her.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Federal forecasters are predicting yet another busy hurricane season. Thursday´s outlook calls for 13 to 20 named storms, seven to 11 that strengthen into hurricanes and three to six that become major hurricanes. The prediction by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is more than what is considered an average Atlantic season. Last year was the third-busiest on record with 19 named storms. Ten became hurricanes and two were major storms, with winds over 111 mph. That included Sandy, which caused $50 billion in damage even though it lost

Islamist militants have staged twin suicide car bombings on an army base and a French-run uranium mine in Niger, killing at least 20 people in retaliation for the country´s military involvement in neighbouring Mali. Niger´s Defence Minister Mahamadou Karidjo said the last Islamist was neutralised at the army base and denied early reports that a suicide attacker had held young army recruits hostage. The attacks come just four months after al-Qa´ida linked militants seized a desert gas plant in neighbouring Algeria in a siege that left 38 hostages dead, also in retaliation against the intervention in Mali.

WASHINGTON — Yemen welcomed President Barack Obama´s decision Thursday to lift a moratorium on transferring prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to the Gulf country. Obama announced the decision in a major speech outlining a new bid to close the "war on terror" prison, saying history will "cast a harsh judgment" on the offshore detention program and those who failed to end it. He said he would lift a moratorium in place on transfers of Yemeni detainees to their homeland, name a new envoy to handle the transfers, and ordered the Pentagon to designate a site in the United States

NEW YORK - A company that promised sightseer tours to the Bronx that included a New York City "ghetto" has stopped the bus rides under protest from an outraged neighborhood. Real Bronx Tours, which took mostly European tourists from Manhattan to see life in the South Bronx "from a safe distance," issued a statement this week saying it would immediately cease all tours there. Three times a week, the $45 ride took visitors past food-pantry lines, a housing project and a park a guide described as a pickpocket hangout. Tourists were told they´d get a look at

Good for your body; terrible for the planet. Greek yogurt has seen an astronomical growth in sales over the past half decade — but it may be taking an unexpected toll on the environment. (Snip) Not only would that be illegal, but whey decomposition is toxic to the natural environment, robbing oxygen from streams and rivers. That could turn a waterway into what one expert calls a "dead sea," destroying aquatic life over potentially large areas. Spills of cheese whey, a cousin of Greek yogurt whey, have killed tens of thousands of fish around the country in recent years.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
