MLK Jr. Day: Juan Williams
Can´t Let Go of Racism Charge

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/21/2013 11:01:51 AM

Have we, as a nation, reached the point at which we judge our leaders not “by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous words? We would wish it to be so, but judging from Juan Williams’s recent essay in the Wall Street Journal, we are not there yet. Williams, himself a victim of false accusations of prejudice, recycles the old charge that critics of President Barack Obama are racist. Williams is careful not to put the point quite so bluntly.

Comments:
The race-baiters just never quit. Absolutely nothing will ever be sufficient to satisfy their fictional injustices.

Most amusing! Juan can´t break free of the NPR mentality to save his life...

You go Juan! Or at least you ´token´ go, eh?

I´d love to be a fly on the wall in another 100 years to see how a ´non-white majority´ US population keeps the ´racism´ myth alive...

Fox news pays 2 Million a year for this quota, and he needs to maintain his liberal credentials. He was not hired to be smart that´s Krauthammer´s job.

JW is the reason I watch much less of FOX News than I used to watch.

If there is a racist in this column it´s Williams. He is a self-admitted racist with his comment about muslims that got him thrown out of NPR, and for a black man that is quite an achievement.

Think about it... If Juan lets go of his "race." What does he have? His brains? His insightful analysis? His ability to see things clearly? Face it. Racism has long been dead in this super multi-racial country. But the Industry thrives! Pity the poor SAT perfect-score asian in your school who loses out to a stupid angry moron like Moochelle at places like Princeton.

Gee, Juan, come on over to my place today. We are having a big birthday celebration here. It´s the birthday of General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson (1824).
Look for the family compound flying the Stars and Bars on the flagpole. Unfortunately, the Stars and Stripes will have to wait another four years before I display it again. Oh, and please don´t take offense at all of the "assault rifles" around the house, either. You see, my Redneck neighbors and I have committed to making the neighborhood a "crime free zone".

Williams is paid to be controversial, as is Beckel and now Kucinich.

Fox has become Theater of the Absurd.

Liberals like Juan are the biggesr racists around. The only reason Obama won is due to racists like Juan so of course they need to lie about the facts.

Reply 10 - Posted by: strike3, 1/21/2013 11:41:05 AM     (No. 9129977)

Williams and Obama would feel inferior no matter what color their skin was because they ARE inferior. The racism bit just gives them an excuse.

Reply 11 - Posted by: tennisbum, 1/21/2013 11:41:30 AM     (No. 9129979)

Black liberals/Democrats/progressives cannot debate or argue their political positions and Win so-o-o-o the ole classic race card must be played so that their delicate self=esteem is not bruised.

Anyone whose opinion is different than a black is automatically branded a racist. Just the way it is and will not change, ever.

Of course Juan and Rev Al and Jesse never bring up "the content of one´s character" portion of King´s speech ´cause they know that they fail on that also...no character at all.

Mr Williams is just one of the reasons I no longer watch Fox Cable News. Between him, Mr Beckle, and the rest of the cretins they have hired to keep the channel so-called fair and balanced, ignorance is pervasive. The internet has far more news available than I can ever absorb. I have NO desire to have these people´s agendas forced on me. TV is for sports and entertainment, no longer for slanted opinions by far overpaid hosts/guests.

I think, henceforth, I shall refer to the revenge seeking racist Juan Williams as Django. Why? He had one of the best lines in the movie when asked to partner with a white man to be a bounter hunter.

His [Django´s] response: "Kill white people and get paid for it? What´s not to like?"

Fox News doesn´t realize that people don´t want "fair and balanced" reporting. If I want the liberal side, most networks and publications will give me the current White House talking points. No, I just want the TRUTH, as much as can be gleaned from an event. Here in Texas, on "Red Eye Radio," [12PM - 5AM, CST], we have Gary McNamara and Eric Harley hosting the best conservative show, five nights a week. When can´t sleep and tired of classical music, I listen to them. WBAP also hosts Rush, daily.

I stopped watching Fox cable news a few weeks ago. Feels good. No more having the likes of Juan Williams foisted at me unsuspectingly. Cant stand that sissy! And also, no more Beckel, Shep Smith, those freaks that call themselves "democrat strategists" (whatever that means)...Hannity proved to be an idiot, O´Reilly is a dope, Ann Coulter was gaffingly WRONG about Christie the Blimp, and I wanted Rubio as VP over Ryan..they didnt. Sorry Fox Cable News, ya lost me. So while you coddle Juan Williams and his sissy brethren, you LOSE viwers! And dont get me started on how they adoringly cover the inaugaration of that Kenyan liar foreign exchange student, or heap praise on that phony preacher MLK...sorry, I dont. Never bought it. Never will.

This salon is the ONLY place on the planet that I love and respect daily. Thank you Lucianne and staff for keeping me sane and out of the nuthouse! Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back, a handshake, a hug, and a steep pay raise! You guys rock!

Many have speculated that the enrollment campaigns would benefit from a celebrity endorsement or partnership with a major sports league. Despite first lady Michelle Obama´s four-year campaign to wean the nation off Big Macs and Big Gulps, obesity in America rose last year, continuing an unbroken 15-year streak, according to new figures from the Centers for Disease Control. In an early release of some data in its 2012 National Health Interview Survey, the CDC said that 28.9 percent of adults are obese, a small but significant jump from 28.7 percent in 2011. Officials were hoping that 2012 would snap the trend. As a result, the CDC found that the nation´s obese population

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
