Clinton Warns Dems on Gun Control
Breitbart´s Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Original Article

In 1994, the GOP won an historic landslide and swept the Democrats in Congress from power. The victory was due, in large part, to a recent assault weapons ban that had been enacted. No doubt with this in mind, former President Bill Clinton last night warned top Democrat donors not to be dismissive of those who believe in gun rights. “Do not patronize the passionate supporters of your opponents by looking down your nose at them,” Clinton said. “A lot of these people live in a world very different

Hopefully they´ll ignore Clinton on this, because on this issue, Clinton is spot on.

Clinton wants to put some light between Hillary & the current Prez.

I hate the term "spot on". It´s un-American. No offense meant, #1, I just hate it. It sounds elistist and creepy, kind of like adddressing other men as "old boy".

What Clinton, the greatest liar to come down the pike until Zero, means is "you have to trick the dummies into believing something that isn´t true about democrats". i.e. that you are NOT against gun control and confiscation which, of course, democrats are.

Bill Clinton may be a moral idiot, but he knows politics, and understands the U.S. because he is a part of it.
President Hologram does not fully understand the U.S., because he is curiously detached from it.

If Hilary is truly running for president, this may be a great place to begin. I know MANY liberal women who are gun owners. They own them for protection, mostly protection of their "lady parts" and their homes. It might behoove President "Lady Parts" to remember this group who voted for him. Older, wealthy liberal women are chomping at the bit to get Hilary in the White House.
At some point, a Democrate presidential contender will have to come forward. I think Cuomo already has, but he did very badly. Hilary can come in with "rational" discourse on this subject and she may steal both Obama and Cuomo´s thunder.

Obama and the liberal Democrats are making a lot of noise about gun control, but you must also remember that a lot of regular Democrats are also gun owners and support the 2nd Amendment.

Also the Democrats have about 14 US Senate seats to defend next year, some in States that have a lot of 2nd amendment supporters and gun owners. Senators from those States remember what happened in the past when the Democrats pushed through worthless gun control measures and recognize if they vote for over reaching gun control that will become unelectable back home causing the Democrats to loose control in the US Senate.

As scummy as he is, Clinton is also a master politician. He understands this is a disaster for the Dems to pursue, and, as mentioned above, is probably hoping to help Hillary with this issue.

I don´t think Obama is a communist. I think he fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, who say they will take over our country and enforce Sharia law if it takes a hundred years. Otherwise why are we sending arms and fighter planes to the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt? Also-how many of Obama´s appointees and czars are members? -----Dead silence-----.

If the dims have 14 seats to defend in 2014, doesn´t that mean that the pubs have 19? Isn´t turnover 33 every election? Pubs have a bigger problem than the dims.

As stated above, Clinton is an expert at politics, and he is correct, in my opinion. There are some Dems that are in big trouble if they "go for the guns."

The "Dumbest Senator" Feinstein will be fine in California with her vote to take our guns, but there are a whole bunch of senators that would be skewered. Reid among them. Let´s watch them squirm.

Take a look at that picture in the article.

0bama is looking at Clinton as if to say: Are you jiving me, man? Or, hurry up cracker! What are you gonna tell me I don´t already know? I got Reggie waiting for me.

Clinton looks bad. Very old. And what is up with his hand? That is a HUGE hand. The palm looks abnormally long.

Reply 14 - Posted by: Libertygal, 1/21/2013 7:53:29 AM     (No. 9129483)

13, you are right. That hand in the picture, that is a sign of photoshopping gone bad. Now, the question would be, why photoshop the picture? Would love to see the original, and see why it was inappropriate to use. Looks like Clinton was added, or was much, much closer and intimate, and in the process of moving him, the hand got stretched out of proportion. The photoshopper forgot to go back and repair it.

Must have been lunchtime.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Backed by throngs of chanting supporters, dozens of liberal demonstrators are subjecting themselves to arrest each Monday at the state legislature here to protest a flurry of bills that could transform North Carolina into a model of conservative governance. The state’s hard turn to the right comes less than five years after people took to the streets here to celebrate the 2008 victory of Barack Obama, the first Democratic presidential candidate to capture the state since Jimmy Carter in 1976. The win prompted Obama’s supporters to crow about the growing influence of progressive

BEIRUT — The leader of the Lebanese Shiite militant group Hezbollah on Saturday defiantly defended sending his fighters to support President Bashar al-Assad’s army in neighboring Syria and proclaimed that they would be victorious. Hasan Nasrallah’s televised address provided the clearest public acknowledgment to date that his men are fighting alongside Assad’s troops and will continue to do so. As he spoke, Hezbollah and government forces were escalating an assault on the strategically important Syrian town of Qusair. A staunch ally of Iran as well as Assad, Hezbollah has deepened its involvement in Syria’s two-year-old civil war in recent weeks

UPDATE: Perry responds to SB 346 veto: “Freedom of association and freedom of speech are two of our most important rights enshrined in the Constitution. My fear is that SB 346 would have a chilling effect on both of those rights in our democratic political process. While regulation is necessary in the administration of Texas political finance laws, no regulation is tolerable that puts anyone’s participation at risk or that can be used by any government, organization or individual to intimidate those who choose to participate in our process through financial means. The latest reporting in the matter of Fox News Channel’s James Rosen indicates the Obama administration fought to keep the search warrant for Rosen’s private email account secret, arguing that the government might need to monitor the account for a lengthy period of time. Thank you, Ryan Lizza. And one more thing. Despite Eric Holder’s his protestations of ignorance regarding the Rosen matter, NBC reports that Holder himself authorized the warrant application. Hmmm. Does that mean he might not have been entirely forthcoming about the matter in his testimony

WASHINGTON — Haynes Johnson, a pioneering Washington journalist who won a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the civil rights movement and migrated from newspapers to television, books and teaching, died Friday. He was 81. The Washington Post reported he died at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. In a statement to the Post newsroom, Managing Editor Kevin Merida said Johnson died of a heart attack. Johnson was awarded a Pulitzer in 1966 for national reporting on the civil rights struggle in Selma, Ala., while with The Evening Star in Washington. He spent

The FBI has arrested a San Antonio man on charges he lied to get into the United States and tried to get a sensitive Defense Department position. Wissam Allouche, 44, appeared for an initial hearing Friday afternoon, and shook his head when U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry Bemporad read the charges leveled in a federal indictment. The judge ordered him held pending a bail hearing and his arraignment Tuesday. “He allegedly tried to cover up his affiliation with Hezbollah,” said special agent Erik Vasys, spokesman for the FBI in San Antonio. “It is believed

The press must have

A FREE press in a democracy demands a delicate balance. The First Amendment means the media must have the right to inquire without hindrance. The government has a legitimate interest in keeping some national security information secret. When these come into conflict, the balance often has been struck this way: The media are free to pursue secrets, but it is up to those in government to keep them. When the media come into possession of information that, if disclosed, could be damaging, the government can plead the case for secrecy — and the media generally are open to persuasion.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
