Biden’s claim of brush with
gun massacre questioned

Washington Times, by Dave Boyer

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/18/2013 9:45:36 PM

Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s claim that he heard the gunshots of a 2006 school massacre while playing golf is raising questions about his veracity or his memory. Mr. Biden told a meeting of mayors in Washington Thursday that he was about a quarter-mile away from an Amish schoolhouse on Oct. 2, 2006, when a gunman shot and killed five students and wounded five others. “I happened to be literally — probably, it turned out, to be a quarter of a mile [away] at an outing when I heard gunshots in the woods,” Mr. Biden recounted.

Comments:
I wonder if Biden, 0bama and the rest of his comrades are even capable of speaking one word that is true. What a contemptible jerk Biden is. It is appalling how low our standards have dropped for who is acceptable to serve in our government.

He´s one of these people who makes up these peripheral stories for some sort of sick self-aggrandizement. If Biden told me the sky was blue, I´d go get confirmation.

Biden took pointers from the Hildebeast who she claimed was being fired upon in some 3rd world country. The drive-by media did no investigation and sold the story as true.

Democrats make stuff up -- all the time -- and the media never question them on it. Conservatives tell the truth and their remarks are twisted, misrepresented, and "fact checked" by the media into "lies." They mock truth tellers and admire congenital liars. How about "...We don´t have a spending problem..." from Agent Zero, our Fabicator-in-Chief? What? No "fact check?"

Biteme is just trying to stay in league with his leader zippy. He can´t let zippy get too many lies in front or he loses the nassau bet and has to pay up at the end of the month. But this story was a double bogey as it was way too easy to validate.

I had mentioned the night before last when I first read this story here that Biden was Lying.... Again. Appears at least ONE News Media outfit picked up on the very Lie. Using Kids as Political Props appears to be Standard Operating Procedure for this Administration.

My little local newspaper ran an article about how the schools are trying to teach students that character does count. I thought a few years ago (Clinton era) character didn´t count. Maybe we´re getting a turnaround in this country because people are finally just getting fed up with politicians and the LSM who just lie and cover up and think nothing of it. Maybe we´ve almost hit bottom. We have yet to hear who gave the "stand down" order for Libya.

Well, he´s a Democrat and a Liberal- they believe reality is what ever they say it is. He says he heard the shots, in his mind, he did hear the shots- he says he did. Like all the agenda driven lies about global baloney warming and also the myth that guns are stalking people, rather than people stalking people. It´s what Liberal do. Want more honesty in our government officials? Quit electing fantasy believing liberals to office.

Reply 35 - Posted by: GreatPlains, 1/19/2013 12:42:53 PM     (No. 9126576)

Only the Washington Times made the effort to fact check.
And they have clearly debunked Biden´s story.
Biden claimed he was playing golf
and his party heard the shots and thought they were coming from hunters.
" Rodney King, the golf pro at Moccasin Run, said Friday he was working at the course on the day of the shooting and never saw Mr. Biden,
who was then a U.S. senator " .
The pro checked the course database and Biden is not in there.
The course is a public one , unlikely for Senators to use.
The more exclusive private golf course is 10 miles away.
There is a shooting range close to the public course where target practice can be heard.
The shooting happened inside the school.
The school was amidst agricultural fields , not woods .
Biden´s age ( 70 ) and history of two craniotomies for ruptured aneurysms is never mentioned by the media.
If a Republican at Biden´s age and with his medical history constantly fabricated events ,
the allegations of possible brain damage and the onset of Alzheimer´s would have been promoted by the media years ago.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denounced the Gang of Eight immigration reform bill, encouraging his audience to call their member of Congress to oppose the bill. Cruz noted there were about 20 Republican Senators that were on the fence about voting for the bill, but that he believed that it was “politically foolish” and “terrible for the country.” “It doesn’t fix the problem,” Cruz said. “We need to fix the problem, secure the borders and improve legal immigration.” Cruz dismissed the Congressional Budget Office report showing that the bill would actually decrease federal

President Obama´s visit to the Group of Eight summit has created a political row in Ireland after an outspoken liberal lawmaker on Wednesday denounced the U.S. president as a “war criminal” for his drone use and his decision to arm the Syrian rebels. Parliamentarian Clare Daly said her country´s government had showcased the country “as a nation of pimps, prostituting ourselves in return for a pat on the head,” The Irish Times reports. The “unprecedented slobbering” during Obama´s two-day visit to Northern Ireland, she said, had even led to speculation that “you were going to deck the

President Obama on Tuesday downplayed Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to suspend talks on a long-term security deal with the U.S. in protest of the launch of formal peace talks with the Taliban. Karzai also pulled out of peace talks with the Taliban the Obama administration agreed to hold in Qatar, which are to begin Thursday. Obama said his administration had always anticipated "difficult negotiations." "We had extensive conversations with President Karzai both before and after the Taliban opened the office in Doha," Obama told reporters at a joint press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

It probably wouldn´t have shocked political observers if Sen. Marco Rubio´s job approval ratings had taken a hit since becoming the Republican face of comprehensive immigration reform earlier this year. But the Florida Republican´s numbers in his home state are actually close to their best ever, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, though the senator did get low marks from voters for his handling of both immigration and gun control. Rubio had a job approval rating of 51 percent to 35 percent, the survey of registered voters found.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
