| Just a week before the New Year, Obama enjoyed his highest approval ratings of 2012. According to Gallup, 58% of Americans approved of the job Obama was doing. Survey results released today by Gallup, though, show Obama´s approval rating has plummeted to just 49%. It is a dramatic drop, especially coming over a holiday period when people traditionally pay little attention to politics. Four years ago, at his first inauguration, a full 69% of Americans approved of Obama. Hey, thanks to Stinky´s water-carrying media accomplices, he was bathed in a more glowing light than the subject of a Thomas Kincade painting, but we knew less about him than we did about "D.B. Cooper" -- and still do.

After adjusting my tinfoil beanie and getting the propeller to spin again, I realized the the Joos who secretly run the world from bunkers beneath their banks decided to use the Newtown massacre to trick society back into political homeostasis by getting their boys in DC to fire up the gun crowd. The pubbies were feeling a little low after the election and were beginning to drift away. This brought everyone back and allows them to feel as if this country is still worth fighting for. /s

So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
