According to Lena Dunham, HBO’s “Girls” television show needs a third season to explore new sex positions. Writer and actress Lena Dunham appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Thursday to discuss her recent Golden Globe awards earned from her work with “Girls.” After Stewart questioned Dunham about the latest season of “Girls,” Dunham admitted she hopes for a new third season: “I’m already kind of like trying to conceive of some new demented ideas – some sexual positions we haven’t yet covered.” Stewart replied, “Well, I’m 50 so don’t tell me what they are.”
Comments: Those audience members who wildly applauded are the sheeple that gave us 0bama for another four years. I knew the cultural destruction was starting when the E.D. commercials started airing and still air all hours of the day. I can´t get to my remote fast enough when these commercials start. Who would have ever thought we would see things like this openly discussed on television as little as ten years ago. This is the entire article.
Didn´t every high school have a sad, awkward girls, who did what the other girls wouldn´t to be popular. Usually involving the team, the woods, alcohol and lurid whispers the day after. Pathetic and cruel.
Recently ´NCIS´ had its second highest rating ever, 22.3 million viewers. I´ve read that ´Girls´ premiered with less than 1 million but has since grown (I couldn´t find their exact numbers). Once again, the media ignores the most popular show on TV while endlessly praising the oh so edgy trash on cable.
I didn’t know a think about it until a few days ago – first, I walked into the living room with my first cup of coffee, with Fox’s morning show on, Fox & Friends (6 a.m. to 9). On-screen was a clip from the Golden Globes - it was a fat chick at the podium, with tiny t*ts, and a ridiculous looking dress that had a weird neckline, showing some semblance of… cleavage, I think, is what she was going for… and squeezing her virtually non-existent “breasts” together. She was (is) ugly. Fugly. I’m thinking… wha-?
Then from the banter, I understand her to be the creator of “Girls”… a show I’d read about in another, earlier, article about our cultural decline – an article from just a few days ago talked about one of the actresses being the daughter of Brian Williams. The article said that Williams watched his daughter film scenes in an area where guests can sit and watch – Brian watches his daughter, with other folks, perform simulated sex scenes, while simulating being naked – according to the article. He’s “proud of her.” I despise Brian Williams – he’s an a*s, a stupid a*s – and now I know him to be a total piece of sh*t human being a*s.
#23... Pardon me but fact is facts. She´s ugly and acts like a slut. Ugly, slutty women are not attractive to strong, handsome, real men and a man with one ounce of integrity and self respect doesn´t want to make babies with and ugly tramp. In fact, they find them repugnant. Don´t like that, take it up with Mother Nature and evolutionary biology.
Fat, tattooed, and easy. Every guy´s dream girl. Not.
This awful "girl" wallows in her unattractiveness, 23 and 29. She flaunts it. She dares us to call her ugly and cheap. I for one am happy to oblige. She symbolizes everything twisted and sad in pop culture today.
#31 Re-framing the argument in moralistic terms may work on your liberal feminist buddies or guilt ridden beta males but not me. By all means keep supporting the feminist whore culture that has turned men away from long term healthy loving relationships due to a total lack of quality, decent females in our society. I hope all the women who choose to listen to the message of Miss Dunham will enjoy their lonely elder years with all their cats as company.
President Obama has recalled John Podesta to work at the White House as a “counselor.” Podesta is the Clinton hand who founded the far-left Center for American Progress (home of the clownish Think Progress blog). Podesta’s appointment, which needs no congressional approval, comes at a time when Obama is already making moves to do without Congress. He has used executive actions to re-write Obamacare, and to recalibrate immigration law, both in ways that just happen to favor either himself or the Democrats. The New York Times reports that Podesta will work on executive actions when he returns to the White
On CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on Sunday, new host Brian Stelter turned to President Obama the press critic. At the end of his cakewalk “Hardball” interview last week, Obama called out the media for being divisive. “The American people are good and they are decent. And yes, we get very divided partly because our politics and our media specifically tries to divide them and splinter them.” Stelter asked a decent question about whether that was an odd statement to make on divisive MSNBC. NPR television critic Eric Deggans shot that down, insisting MSNBC was a “great place” to attack cable news
Former CIA Director Leon Panetta revealed classified information at a 2011 awards ceremony attended by Zero Dark Thirty filmmaker Mark Boal, according to documents obtained by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch. The CIA allowed Boal, the screenwriter of Zero Dark Thirty, to attend a June 24, 2011 award ceremony celebrating the successful raid on Osama bin Laden’s hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan that May. A transcript of Panetta’s speech that night obtained by Judicial Watch is labeled “top secret,” and significant portions of it are redacted. At the conclusion his speech, Panetta told the audience, “You have made me proud
UPDATE: Rep. Paul Ryan and Sen. Patty Murray unveiled a budget proposal Tuesday night. The proposal, which has yet to be voted on, busts through sequester caps, setting FY 2014 spending at $1.014 trillion — billions beyond the levels mandated by sequester. The proposal contains no mention of pension reform. Conservatives had better start paying attention to the budget battle raging in Washington: If things go south — and they are poised to do just that — the tea party’s single greatest policy victory, the sequester, could be destroyed. And worse yet, it could be destroyed in exchange for nothing. The sequester
Approval of ObamaCare in the United States has risen eight percentage points in the last month, according to a new poll. Thirty-nine percent of people now approve of the law, according to a CBS News/New York Times poll released Tuesday evening. Half of the public, by contrast, disapproves of ObamaCare, the poll found. Nearly 60 percent say they don’t think the sign-up process for ObamaCare is going well, but more than one-third say it’s improving. These figures come in just ten days after the administration touted the repaired federal portal for the insurance, HealthCare.gov. Obama’s general job approval rating has increased to 42 percent,
Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), in an appearance on MSNBC´s "PoliticsNation" on Friday, condemned former Sen. Rick Santorum´s comments comparing Nelson Mandela´s fight against apartheid to the fight against Obamacare as "shameful." "And actually if I was going to make a comparison, I would make the opposite comparison, because I think the struggle for justice, which Nelson Mandela led for so many years is similar as the struggle for the health care as a right for people in the richest country in the world, and so the idea that they would make that comparison in the opposite way is just tragic,"
According to a new Rasmussen Report, the majority of Americans do not believe the deportation of illegal immigrants living in the United States is aggressive enough. More than 20 House Democrats last week urged President Obama to halt the deportation of illegal immigrants until Congress passes a comprehensive immigration reform plan, but voters by a two-to-one margin oppose that idea. Most already think the federal government is not vigilant enough in deporting those who are in this country illegally. Only 29% of Likely U.S. Voters think the government should stop deporting illegal immigrants until Congress passes an immigration reform plan.
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
On his way to the podium at the memorial ceremony for former South African president Nelson Mandela, President Obama walked down the line of dignitaries, greeting other leaders there to pay their respects. Among the hands shaken: that of Cuban leader Raul Castro. Obama neither made a special effort to shake Castro’s hand nor to avoid him. A snub might have been awkward: In his speech, Obama praised Mandela’s “greatest gift” as “his recognition that we are all bound together in ways that can be invisible to the eye; that there is a oneness to humanity; that we achieve ourselves by
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012. The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
