Chris Christie sides with Obama

Secret Service detail ´made him cringe´

New Jersey governor Chris Christie has slammed the NRA over their recent attack ad branding President Obama as an ´elitist hypocrite´ for having Secret Service protection for his two daughters. ´To talk about the president’s children, or any public officer’s children, who have—not by their own choice, but by requirement—to have protection, and to use that somehow to try to make a political point is reprehensible,´ Christie said in a press conference on Thursday.

You´re toast, Chris.

These morons are pretending not to catch the satire so they can posture before the low information voters. Time to shun Christie.

This joker is tied too closely to Northeast liberalism. Would it surprise any of us if he made the jump to the Democratic Party? We must never trust him, and we must certainly not consider him a presidential candidate.

Come on, Jabba, just make the jump to the Socialist Party now. The Dem´s already have a parking space for you.

Another Lance Armstrong moment. He has not had a change of allegiances or a change of opinion or a change of heart, nor does he have some new bromance going with Obama. He´s been lying to us all along.

He has never been the conservative he represented himself to be. So, what ELSE is he NOT? Let´s see his birth certificate. Is he a Russian sleeper? A secret moslem? I wouldn´t trust him with the keys to the dog pound.

Another Chrissie who feels a thrill going up his leg as he fantasizes about Bamster.

Rush rightly said on-air today that Chrissie wants to get a leg up on Hillary

And hey, hey, hey...
Fat Chrissie is on his way there.

The way things have been going, Christie sides with NØbama so often that it doesn´t really qualify as news any more.

Now if Christie ever actually disagreed with NØbama, that would be news.

But those Demon-RATS have to stick together. (I know Christie ran as a Republican, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, and smells like a duck, and looks like a duck, it´s a duck...)

Christie will drop the charade, and either declare himself as a Demon-RAT or ´´independent´´ by the next election...

Well his perpetual whine has burnt his GOP bridges. He may get the boobs in NJ to vote for him but the rest of the conservative nation will laugh in his fat face.

Let him run as a Democrat. Since women started voting there has not been an obese president and certainly not a morbidly obese one. Those XX voters will never vote for someone so unhealthy looking for president.

I found the ad kind of creepy. The prez´s kids are far more likely to be under credible threat than my kids. Prudence would dictate tighter security than I would provide for mine.
The problem is, all these left wing buffoons who agree with that. Now I have to rethink the whole thing. Dag Nabbit!

Further proof Christie should never go any farther in any political office.

Just remember, your kids are much less important than rich and powerful people´s kids. Those of the public that are nodding their air-filled heads in agreement are getting acclimated to their chains very nicely. Be sure to look aside when the Lord and Master walks by, too.

No doubt the next step in Christie´s coming-out process will be to wear a Che T-shirt in public.

It´s perfectly reasonable for politicians´ children to have armed security.

It´s entirely appropriate for the NRA to remind politicians that less privileged students are no less entitled to armed security than the Obama daughters and their classmates.

Christie is an elitist hypocrite.

Some of the nation´s largest banks, including Wells Fargo [WFC +1.58%] & Co., suspended foreclosure sales in a number of states following guidance issued last month by federal banking regulators. While some foreclosures have since resumed, the halt marks the latest dustup over how foreclosures are handled. Banks said their actions were triggered by a four-page bulletin issued last month by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve. The bulletin outlined basic operating standards for foreclosure sales. Many of the nation´s largest banks were already operating under consent orders with the OCC or the Fed

Common-sense politics devolve into a season of craziness in this engrossing account of the 2012 U.S. presidential campaign. Journalist Alter follows up his bestselling The Promise: President Obama, Year One with a savvy dissection of the 2010–2012 election cycle and related political dogfights, including budget and debt-ceiling showdowns, the Republican primary circus, and the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” infecting Tea Partiers and talk-radio hosts. At the center are rich portraits of the antagonists: Obama is seen as a cerebral antipolitician with no “schmooze gene” who hates back-slapping, slogan-spewing theatrics; Romney is portrayed as a well-meaning

Let’s face it. The Great Gatsby never has been—and probably won’t ever be—successfully turned into a great motion picture. Many have tried (four flop movies, not to mention various small-screen attempts, including a truncated but memorable Playhouse 90 with Robert Ryan and Jeanne Crain in the golden days when TV still knew what quality programming was). Robert Redford was a perfect Gatsby in the pretty but boring 1974 version by Jack Clayton, but the movie was dead on arrival. The best I’ve seen is still Elliott Nugent’s black-and-white 1949 version, with Alan Ladd at the top of his form

It may go down as one of the great currency bets in Australian dollar history – a $US1 billion gamble on a Reserve Bank rate cut that has delivered a $US19 million ($18.65m) profit in 36 hours. The beneficiary, if you believe the rumour mill, is investment legend George Soros. Best of all, it appears the 82-year-old American pulled off the deal three times, all with different foreign exchange brokers in Asia, for a tidy profit of almost $US60 million. "The Germans have not yet realised that southern Europe, including France, will be forced by their current misery to fight back against German hegemony sooner or later," he said,

U.S. President Barack Obama gives the commencement address to the graduating class of The Ohio State University at Ohio Stadium on May 5, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. PRESIDENT OBAMA: Unfortunately, you´ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that´s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They´ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.

After months of weighing potential candidates, President Obama finally has his pick for the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees the housing giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Obama wants to tap Representative Mel Watt, a Democrat from North Carolina. Confirmation is far from a sure thing. Watt’s nomination has been met with cheers by many groups that work with borrowers, from the National Community Reinvestment Coalition to MoveOn.org, though some liberals say he’s too close with banks, which are a big part of North Carolina’s economy.

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
