| As a society, our first task must be to care for our children -- to shield them from harm and give them the tools they need not only to pursue their dreams, but to help build this country. That is how we will be judged. And in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, it´s clear we have a long way to go. That´s why, last month, I asked Vice President Biden to lead an effort to come up with concrete steps we can take right now to keep our kids safe, help prevent mass shootings,

Hey nitwit: 1) The previous assault weapons ban was shown to have zero effect on crime rates. 2) Violent crime rates in the US have halved over the last 20 years coinciding with nationwide easing of gun restrictions and concealed carry rights.
Stop the distractions, and focus on the economy.
Signed, Joe America

We do have a responsibility to our children, and prime among them is to hand off a functioning republic with manageable finances.

If you recognize that those doing harm are law-breakers, you recognize that no law is going to stop the killing.

Barky is not interested in protecting your kids. If he was his proposals would be completely different, as: Guarding your children as his already are. Locking up lunatics. Making MHP´s more responsible for reporting lunatics. (Doctors have the authority and responsibility to take away your driving privileges. There is a parallel here) Making law enforcement (like sheriff Dupnik the Dipstick in tucson) responsible for enforcing existing laws. Dismantle the gun-running holder DoJ. What he is interested in is disarming the general population, like his (and valjar´s) mentor and hero, chairman mao.

The first task of a society is not to protect its children. It is to protect itself from all enemies foreign and domestic. Barack Obama is an enemy of American society. He is a far greater danger to America and America´s children than the rare, isolated spree killer. Barack Obama does not respect or like America. He has promised to "fundamentally transform the United States of America."
If we are going to begin universal background checks on gun buyers, it is certainly time -past time- to do a background check on the individual calling himself Barack Obama. It is simply amazing that a man about whom Americans know practically nothing that has been documented continues to occupy the presidency of the United States. If the Republic survives, as it probably will, future historians will look back, scratch their heads, and devote their careers to attempting to answer the question of how such a thing could have happened. Did the American people simply go mad for a period of 8 years? How could they have done such a thing to themselves? Didn´t they realize that the presidency is too important to entrust to a mysterious stranger who doesn´t share American values? Where was the watchdog press, the famous Fourth Estate, in the nation´s hour of need?

About the children, huh....
Young as they are, those with baby brothers and sisters at home, would be absolutely traumatized to know that as a senator Obama championed partial birth abortion, the brutal slaughter of babies who make it through abortion.
“President Obama voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times, horrifyingly voting against protecting babies who survived abortion and voting in favor of leaving them to die."
So murdering children through abortions is ok, according to the empty suit.

Why didn´t he save taxpayers some money and just ask Malia what she thought about Sandy Hook? /s Incompetents always act this way when their fecklessness is on parade - they show great concern for things that they have no power over to pretend that they are vital. Meanwhile, Iran continues its nuclear quest, virtually unabated; China steals our military know-how and is building a large salt water navy; our economy remains stagnant; unemployment leaves a demoralized and frightened citizenry and the very children he met with yesterday are being robbed of their futures.

Yep. It is past time. The killer of school-age children MUST be abolished. It is time to ban school buses, and ban them NOW. We cannot sit idly by and watch group after group slaughtered by this device which has no conscience.
As to senseless slaughter: just how many individuals have been killed in Chicago since Zero took office? And what kind of gun laws does Chicago have?
What a monstrous perversion we have here. The nation is mobilized for the purpose of what?
Protecting the federal government, that´s what!
Go read your Declaration of Independence.
Armed guards will have to search every domicile and place of work, in order to end this terrible scourge!
Then the feddies will be safe forever.

The arrogance and ignorance of 0bama is appalling. He sends his girls to an expensive private school that has several armed guards with real guns and real bullets. 0bama just changed the law for him to have secret service protection for the rest of his life. Before he changed this law, he and Mooch would only have security for ten years after out of office. And you know these secret service all have real guns with real bullets. Yet 0bama is such a hypocrite that he wants NO guns in the schools of we commoners. No, we should not have guns, just 0bama and his girls. What is wrong with these horrid and wretched people?

EXCLUSIVE: In the hallowed halls of Columbia University, a nest of ex-cons — who have served time for murder, attempted murder, robbery and assault — hold court on their unique brand of social justice for admiring students enrolled in the school´s social work program, a FoxNews.com investigation has found. The ex-cons work for or with the Criminal Justice Initiative (CJI), co-founded in 2009 by former Weather Underground operative and Columbia adjunct professor Kathy Boudin, who pleaded guilty to felony murder for her role in an infamous 1981 armed robbery that left two police officers and a security guard dead.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denounced the Gang of Eight immigration reform bill, encouraging his audience to call their member of Congress to oppose the bill. Cruz noted there were about 20 Republican Senators that were on the fence about voting for the bill, but that he believed that it was “politically foolish” and “terrible for the country.” “It doesn’t fix the problem,” Cruz said. “We need to fix the problem, secure the borders and improve legal immigration.” Cruz dismissed the Congressional Budget Office report showing that the bill would actually decrease federal

President Obama´s visit to the Group of Eight summit has created a political row in Ireland after an outspoken liberal lawmaker on Wednesday denounced the U.S. president as a “war criminal” for his drone use and his decision to arm the Syrian rebels. Parliamentarian Clare Daly said her country´s government had showcased the country “as a nation of pimps, prostituting ourselves in return for a pat on the head,” The Irish Times reports. The “unprecedented slobbering” during Obama´s two-day visit to Northern Ireland, she said, had even led to speculation that “you were going to deck the

President Obama on Tuesday downplayed Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to suspend talks on a long-term security deal with the U.S. in protest of the launch of formal peace talks with the Taliban. Karzai also pulled out of peace talks with the Taliban the Obama administration agreed to hold in Qatar, which are to begin Thursday. Obama said his administration had always anticipated "difficult negotiations." "We had extensive conversations with President Karzai both before and after the Taliban opened the office in Doha," Obama told reporters at a joint press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

It probably wouldn´t have shocked political observers if Sen. Marco Rubio´s job approval ratings had taken a hit since becoming the Republican face of comprehensive immigration reform earlier this year. But the Florida Republican´s numbers in his home state are actually close to their best ever, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, though the senator did get low marks from voters for his handling of both immigration and gun control. Rubio had a job approval rating of 51 percent to 35 percent, the survey of registered voters found.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
