ObamaCare: How The

ObamaCare: The individual mandate, which is the centerpiece of the Affordable Care Act, hasn´t even been phased in and already there are calls to increase its cost. Did we ever mention that this was a bad law? All the parts of the Democrats´ overhaul of American health care hang off the individual mandate, which requires those without health care insurance and aren´t in a government program to buy a plan or face a fine. The fine, which won´t go into effect until next year, is $95, or 1% of income, whichever is higher.

The bottom line: Affordable Care Act = Less affordable, and less care. But, the name is catchy.

The well-being of every citizen of the USA now depends on the Republican majority in the House to defund this nightmare...which will also have an effect on Obama´s gun grab ie: Deputy Doctors..because down the road, people who refuse to answer the Doctor´s question will most likely be refused healthcare.
See the slippery slope Obama has created, folks?

Obama & the Dems will do as they are now... Blaming the insurance companies for the increases & eventually bail out insurance companies that they pick as winners... Then we´ll have gov´t health insurance & they´ll pull it out of your check, just like SS !

I have seen this coming since Hillary introduced this "taking" of American working citizen´s income.

What will likely occur is that people won´t buy health insurance and if they are not working or not making enough money from work for the IRS to attach (meaning one is owed a refund), Obamacare cannot be funded by the producers.

As such, the Obamacare insurance will become an automatic income tax on your weekly, bi-monthly pay check...just like Social Security and the other automatic tax deductions from one´s pay check. This is also a back-door way to get out of the 50 or more employee health insurance coverage requirement. And this will NEVER be reversed.

So we are back in the same situation as we are now. Those who work will pay for health insurance for those who do not work. The onus will be taken off the employer and the costs absorbed by the employee and consumer.

How people did not see this coming astounds me.

Worse...those who have private insurance that we pay for ourselves are being threatened for covering our own health insurance by onerous regulations that will bankrupt private carriers.

I am stunned that BO has not pulled a Chavez, like BO did with private student loans with banks and just nationalize the health insurance companies.

When, not if, the health industry is nationalized, expect the quality you receive from the DMV, the Post Office, public schools and every other conceivable government agency (other than the IRS) to render the kind of care that most 9th world nations provide.

Just look at France and the UK.

Just ahead of a possible Hillary run for the presidency, the Clinton Library released a new load of documents from President Bill Clinton’s years in the White House. One of those documents attempts to explain Hillary´s "vast right-wing conspiracy" claim in which the Clinton administration accused Republican staffers of colluding with "extremists" on the Internet to hurt the Clintons. On January 27, 1998, Hillary Clinton appeared on NBC´s Today Show. During her interview with Matt Lauer, she claimed that a "vast right-wing conspiracy" had been trying to destroy her husband "since the day he announced for president." That interview drew

When British photojournalist Charles Ommanney traveled through six states to photograph American gun owners, he found something he did not expect: they don´t fit the stereotypes. According to PolicyMic.com, Ommanney was sent to photograph American gun owners for the German magazine Stern. In so doing, he discovered "people who are often far from the stereotypical vision of the American ´gun-nut.´" He found a teenager named Elizabeth, who posed with a Walther handgun "in front of a floral wallpaper backdrop." He found entire families--mother, father, daughter, son--who posed with their firearms of choice. Ommanney also found one woman with a pump shotgun for home

Hillarycare Would Cause People

As the nation awaits Hillary Clinton´s decision of whether or not she will run for president in 2016, a cache of 7,500 pages of newly released documents from Bill Clinton´s years in the White House show some familiar political themes. One revelation is that Bill Clinton worried that a massive new healthcare scheme would cause Americans to lose their insurance. In 1993, the President allowed his wife, first lady Hillary Clinton, to become the face of an Obamacare-like takeover of the nation´s healthcare system. The plan was sarcastically dubbed Hillarycare. But as these internal documents show, in what is now a

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

WASHINGTON AND NEW YORK - In September 2001, as the U.S. reeled from the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Vladimir Putin supported Washington´s imminent invasion of Afghanistan in ways that would have been inconceivable during the Cold War. He agreed that U.S. planes carrying humanitarian aid could fly through Russian air space. He said the U.S. military could use airbases in former Soviet republics in Central Asia. And he ordered his generals to brief their U.S. counterparts on their own ill-fated 1980s occupation of Afghanistan. During Putin´s visit to President George W. Bush´s Texas ranch two

A new photo of a mysterious flying object over Kansas has been revealed. It appears to be the same aircraft as one that was snapped soaring over Texas last month. The exact identify of the aircraft remains a mystery, but rumours abound that it could be a secret jet. ´The photo is grainy because it was taken with a hand-held maxed-out 400mm telephoto lens through a cloud layer and then it was severely cropped to bring it up even close,´ says Jeff Templin, who took the photo on 16 April. ´There is no way to know the altitude and no way to judge its

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. It is quite possible that the ACA is

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. Last month, I traveled to Rome with President Obama, where I was honored to meet His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Kerry. “As an altar boy six decades ago, I never imagined that I
