Mark is right on the mark (no pun intended)...Comrade Obama´s Soviet Era Illegal Executive Orders are patently wrong and downright UN-American! This is NOT about making our children safer, it is a more sinister plot at grab not only the guns, but the a move to stifle individual rights and freedoms! We all know where he is headed with this...stand by!

Based on what is publicly known, none of the proposals would have prevented Columbine, the Gabby Gifford murders, the Joker shootings or the Sandy Hook massacre. I do not believe they would have prevented the Virginia Tech killings either.

We still do not have the basic facts about many of these killings. The refusal of public officials to share what is known with the public in a timely fashion permits and in fact requires the formation of all kinds of false narratives. People generate theories and push agendas that may have nothing to do with what actually took place. There is an urgent need for officials to abandon their habit of stonewalling the public about established facts. Such a policy has no place in the modern information age.

There is no connection between reality and this president is proposing" Well, you could say that the 20 children murdered in Newtown were a "tiny fraction" of the murders committed in 2013...but that doesn´t make the act any less heinous. And I doubt that Gabbie Giffords feels any better knowing that her shooter was only in a "tiny fraction" of shooters for 2011. No connection to reality? Tell that to the families changed forever by Tucson, Aurora and Newtown.

No Mark. You express the outrage of many Americans are paying attention. Don´t calm down like our fearless leaders like Boehner and McConnell with their sedated demeanor no matter what Obama says or does.

Oh, #5 give it a rest. Nothing, nothing in the world can make the murders at Newtown and anywhere else less heinous. Not all the wrong-headed, ineffectual, unconstitutional laws in the world would make them less heinous - or less likely to happen. It is sick that people can so easily comfort themselves over these tragedies by playing a dishonest blame game and jumping on the idiotic gun control wagon. It is beyond sick - it is evil - for politicians to promote themselves with "look at me I´m so grand" speeches that serve only for ostentatious display of ego.

These events stun us because they are so vicious and the numbers of innocent victims so high. Same is true of passenger plane crashes - because there are more people on board they get far more attention than small plane crashes or a two-car collision on a rural road late Saturday night. But a state of shock is not a good place for setting far-reaching policies and regulations.

0bama´s over-the-top demeaning of millions of Americans is nothing less than bullying and baiting. He wants confrontation. He wants trouble. He does not want peace in our land. He is a despicable excuse for a human being. Same for Cuomo, a common thug.

The way all those killings could have been shortened or even stopped is if someone else there had a gun. Only a sane person with a gun can stop an insane person with a gun. How difficult is that to understand. If more sane citizens would conceal carry and be properly trained there would be fewer mass murders. A "gun free zone" sign only keeps out the law abiding citizens that carry.

Having Mr. O in Our House has changed families in America forever. His destruction reaches far and wide and he keeps telling us that he has much more destruction he wants to accomplish.

Let´s see there´s around 300 million of us innocent Americans who did NOT engage in mass murders compared to, say, around ten nutjobs last year, yes? Is that percentage even computable mathematically? So, of course, we all feel deeply for those affected, but to punish innocent people for those who commit evil - to leave innocent people helpless who might be confronted with evil with no way of self-defense - that´s just evil itself! The timing of this event could not have been more fortuitous for BO. While unemployment is still a disaster, massive federal and state tax increases in 2013, energy and food costs soaring, Benghazi cover up, debt ceiling, non-existent budget, North Africa explosion and hostage taking and the Sandy hurricane pork grab, all BO has to do is cart out a bunch of cronies´ kiddies, honor the deceased at Sandy Hook and offer some faked anecdotes of gullible saps to parade his "successes" and that crisis will not go to waste.
