Mark Levin on Obama gun
proposals: ´This is 1930s stuff´

On Wednesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” conservative talk show host Mark Levin said President Barack Obama’s executive actions to curb gun violence, which were announced during a Wednesday press event, are as “un-American” and “fascistic” as they are unhelpful. “What do any of these 23 [executive actions] have to do with what happened in Newtown? I’ve studied all 23 of them now. They have absolutely nothing to do with the mass murder that took place in Connecticut — zero. And the president won’t be asked about it. I have gone through

At least when Roosevelt attempted his "gun grab," he did it legislatively.

It didn´t work then, and it probably won´t work this time, right?

Mark is right on the mark (no pun intended)...Comrade Obama´s Soviet Era Illegal Executive Orders are patently wrong and downright UN-American! This is NOT about making our children safer, it is a more sinister plot at grab not only the guns, but the a move to stifle individual rights and freedoms! We all know where he is headed with this...stand by!

Based on what is publicly known, none of the proposals would have prevented Columbine, the Gabby Gifford murders, the Joker shootings or the Sandy Hook massacre. I do not believe they would have prevented the Virginia Tech killings either.

We still do not have the basic facts about many of these killings. The refusal of public officials to share what is known with the public in a timely fashion permits and in fact requires the formation of all kinds of false narratives. People generate theories and push agendas that may have nothing to do with what actually took place. There is an urgent need for officials to abandon their habit of stonewalling the public about established facts. Such a policy has no place in the modern information age.

No Mark. You express the outrage of many Americans are paying attention. Don´t calm down like our fearless leaders like Boehner and McConnell with their sedated demeanor no matter what Obama says or does.

Oh, #5 give it a rest. Nothing, nothing in the world can make the murders at Newtown and anywhere else less heinous. Not all the wrong-headed, ineffectual, unconstitutional laws in the world would make them less heinous - or less likely to happen. It is sick that people can so easily comfort themselves over these tragedies by playing a dishonest blame game and jumping on the idiotic gun control wagon. It is beyond sick - it is evil - for politicians to promote themselves with "look at me I´m so grand" speeches that serve only for ostentatious display of ego.

These events stun us because they are so vicious and the numbers of innocent victims so high. Same is true of passenger plane crashes - because there are more people on board they get far more attention than small plane crashes or a two-car collision on a rural road late Saturday night. But a state of shock is not a good place for setting far-reaching policies and regulations.

0bama´s over-the-top demeaning of millions of Americans is nothing less than bullying and baiting. He wants confrontation. He wants trouble. He does not want peace in our land. He is a despicable excuse for a human being. Same for Cuomo, a common thug.

May God preserve us and our beloved nation.

The way all those killings could have been shortened or even stopped is if someone else there had a gun. Only a sane person with a gun can stop an insane person with a gun. How difficult is that to understand. If more sane citizens would conceal carry and be properly trained there would be fewer mass murders. A "gun free zone" sign only keeps out the law abiding citizens that carry.

Having Mr. O in Our House has changed families in America forever. His destruction reaches far and wide and he keeps telling us that he has much more destruction he wants to accomplish.

Mark Levin is correct, the Propaganda and the Agenda are just like the 1930s magnetic leader.

Keep up the good fight Mark, hoping your words reach the no-information voters.

Let´s see there´s around 300 million of us innocent Americans who did NOT engage in mass murders compared to, say, around ten nutjobs last year, yes? Is that percentage even computable mathematically? So, of course, we all feel deeply for those affected, but to punish innocent people for those who commit evil - to leave innocent people helpless who might be confronted with evil with no way of self-defense - that´s just evil itself! And, for what? The real reason, and we all know this, is control. Helpless people are much easier to deal with, are they not, Obama.

To Zippy and the other gun control zealots, Newtown was ´good timing´ for the cause.

Where is the study on why young males in that age group tend to commit mass murders ?

Read the executive orders. They´re harmless, which is probably why gun stocks surged up today on the news. Comparing Barry to the Third Reich is not particularly helpful regarding the GOP´s acute credibility gap.

The timing of this event could not have been more fortuitous for BO. While unemployment is still a disaster, massive federal and state tax increases in 2013, energy and food costs soaring, Benghazi cover up, debt ceiling, non-existent budget, North Africa explosion and hostage taking and the Sandy hurricane pork grab, all BO has to do is cart out a bunch of cronies´ kiddies, honor the deceased at Sandy Hook and offer some faked anecdotes of gullible saps to parade his "successes" and that crisis will not go to waste.

It is too sickening to comprehend.

"Comparing Barry to the Third Reich is not particularly helpful regarding the GOP´s acute credibility gap."

Now that is funny, #12. Mark Levin is not even remotely responsible for the GPO´s acute credibility gap. LOL!!

In an interview posted on the YouTube page owned by the filmmakers of last September’s documentary “The Muslims Are Coming” on Monday, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow targeted conservative Ann Coulter and radio host and so-called evangelist Bryan Fischer. Maddow was critical of Fischer and likened him to Coulter, author of "Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican," who Maddow insisted wasn’t to be taken seriously as a political player or a pundit, but instead just a comedian. “[A]nn Coulter was revealed not as a political player or even as a pundit, but essentially as a comedian,” Maddow explained.

On her Thursday broadcast, “The Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly brought on Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer to sound off on the latest excerpt of President Barack Obama’s interview with the New Yorker magazine’s David Remnick. In that excerpt, Obama blamed Fox News and conservative talker Rush Limbaugh for the gridlock in Washington, D.C. Krauthammer noted Obama has “the commanding heights of the culture” in his corner and said it was unbecoming of the leader of the free world to complain on those grounds. “At least he is not blaming it on climate change or George W. On Thursday, semi-retired radio talker Neal Boortz predicted the republican party will not win control of the U.S. Senate in the 2014 midterm elections, despite all the pitfalls the democrats and president Barack Obama are facing, particularly with regards to ObamaCare. The reason, Boortz said, would be the GOP’s tendency to run on issues related to social conservatism. Boortz explained the importance to the republic for a GOP win next year while guest hosting Sean Hannity’s Thursday radio show: this whole thing about Phil Robertson and what have you – it speaks a lot to what we have

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer insisted the divide within the Republican Party has been exaggerated, adding that Republicans disagree over strategy but not ideology. “[I] think this whole thing is as you say very much blown up by the liberal media because it’s a great dramatic story,” Krauthammer said. “But here’s the fundamental contradiction. I think this analysis is wrong. It’s fundamentally wrong for this reason: The difference between what are being called the hard right and the moderates, the RINOs and the true believers, is really one

During the online-only portion of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” on Wednesday night, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer laid out his theory on what Obamacare’s real intended purpose is: an instrument to redistribute wealth. Krauthammer made that claim in his column last week, but he explained how it works in practice to host Bret Baier and co-panelists former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano and The Hill associate editor A.B. Stoddard. That panel was presented with a viewer who asked what would happen if an individual couldn’t pay an insurance provider in the event of some

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough hammered President Barack Obama for what he called lies during the sales job for his 2010 health care law. Scarborough was asked by Hewitt if he had any idea how many people would ultimately lose their health care coverage because of that law. Scarborough replied by saying many more Americans would be impacted by that law than what then-President George W. Bush had said in his 2003 state of the union speech regarding Iraq trying to procure yellow cake uranium from Niger.

On Wednesday’s edition of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer faced off against left-leaning show anchor Jon Stewart on conservative ideology and the way it is presented. In this rare appearance on Stewart’s program, Krauthammer was promoting his new book, “Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes, and Politics,” and explained how in working on the book he realized when he had made the transformation from liberal to conservative. STEWART: Thirty years — do you ever look back on some of these writings and think, ‘What was I thinking?’ KRAUTHAMMER: It’s worse than that.

Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you
