Bob Schieffer Likens Obama
´Taking on the Gun Lobby´
to Hunt for Bin Laden,
´Defeating the Nazis´

Bob Schieffer somehow topped Chris Matthews during CBS News´s special coverage of President Obama´s gun control press conference on Wednesday, as he became the worst caricature of a foaming-at-the-mouth cheerleader for the chief executive. Schieffer lauded "one of the best speeches I´ve ever heard him [Obama] deliver", and compared Obama´s new gun control agenda to Lyndon Johnson´s push for civil rights legislation in the 1960s. The CBS veteran even went so far to liken the President´s cause to the ten-year hunt for 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden and the difficult endeavor of winning World War II:

May I suggest letting CBS News hear a response to this outrage?

# 1 -- it appears that rather than "Brown Nose"... Bob Schieffer of CBS seems to be angling for a "Brown Shirt."

Comparing the "gun lobby" (aka supporters of the 2nd amendment of our United States Constituion) to the Nazis ...is to accuse the 2nd amendment people of what Schieffer and his ilk believe in.

Dear Sirs:

Do you pay any attention at all to what your newscasters say on live TV?

Bob Shieffer just claimed that fight the "gun lobby" is like fighting the Nazis:

"Surely, finding Osama bin Laden; surely, passing civil rights legislation, as Lyndon Johnson was able to do; and before that, surely, defeating the Nazis, was a much more formidable task than taking on the gun lobby."

Who in the hell do you think the "gun lobby" is? The "gun lobby" is 80 million or more United States citizens.

If you knew history at all, you would know that it was the Nazis who started by disarming their people.

What hypocrisy: Bob Schieffer apparently has never bothered to investigate 0bama/Holder´s tragic Fast & Furious policy which enabled Mexico´s barbaric drug gangs to obtain guns from USA dealers and use them in numerous murders?

The Mexican drug barbarians use those guns to kill their own peole and American citizens, including BP Agent Brian Terry. How can Schieffer and the entire lsm continue to ignore 0bama/Big Sis/Holder´s disasterous Fast & Furious policy. Many of those guns are still out there?!!!

...And this same enabling Administration is now targeting law abiding American citizens and the Constitution itself?!! What sense does this make, Schieffer?!

Shun dem pols!

"Surely, finding Osama bin Laden; surely, passing civil rights legislation, as Lyndon Johnson was able to do; and before that, surely, defeating the Nazis, was a much more formidable task than taking on the gun lobby."

Do you mind!

Honestly, how much more will CBS blacken the American public´s figurative eye? How dare you put law-abiding Americans who cherish their Second Amendment rights in the same locus as Nazis!

Shame on you, CBS and shame on Bob Schieffer for his hyper-active, bombastic drivel!

Everything the left does nowadays is constant false propaganda, slander or libel, ridicule, name-calling, and comparing/associating us with tyrants (whom they actually resemble). Leftists are pure EVIL. If this commentary doesn´t prove how evil they are, nothing can.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State University President Gordon Gee abruptly announced his retirement Tuesday after he came under fire for jokingly referring to ``those damn Catholics´´ at Notre Dame and poking fun at the academic quality of other schools. The remarks were first reported last week by The Associated Press, and Ohio State at the time called them unacceptable and said it had placed Gee on a ``remediation plan´´ to change his behavior.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The president of Ohio State University could be fired for any more verbal gaffes, trustees told him in a letter that said his mockery of Notre Dame, Roman Catholics and the Southeastern Conference have embarrassed and divided the university and run the risk of diminishing the effectiveness of its efforts. Trustees warned Gordon Gee that comments or actions he makes detracting from Ohio State´s core values are not productive and are unacceptable, according to a copy of the March 11 letter obtained Friday by The Associated Press.

Beverly - This Sunday, the streets of Beverly will look just like they always do. And that’s the problem, some veterans say. The city has cancelled its annual Memorial Day parade for what’s believed to be the first time since the end of the Civil War. Many veterans who were gathered at the Herman A. Spear American Legion Post on Friday night are upset by the decision. “It’s not right to me,” says Ron Innocenti. He is a Vietnam veteran who has not only marched in the city’s Memorial Day parade in the past, he says he has also been its grand marshal. He hates to cancel because

As Americans prepare for Memorial Day—the official kickoff to a summer grilling season of burgers and T-bones—rising beef prices have some consumers balking in the grocery aisles. Retail beef prices are widely expected to set new records in coming weeks after wholesale prices, or the amount meatpackers charge sellers for beef, hit an all-time peak this past week. After achieving new highs for three weeks, choice-grade beef, the most common variety in the U.S., jumped to $2.1137 a pound Thursday, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

DENVER - A group of Colorado sheriffs unhappy with recent gun control laws are planning to file a lawsuit to block them. The sheriffs have called a Friday morning news conference to detail their federal challenge. The lawmen said they would challenge two new laws, one limiting the size of ammunition magazines and another law to expand gun background checks. The laws were passed earlier this year in response to mass shootings in Aurora and at a school in Connecticut. Not all sheriffs opposed the bills, but some were frequent visitors to the state Capitol in an effort to prevent the gun controls.

Washington - Boston Mayor Tom Menino says information he has indicates that the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing acted alone. Menino tells ABC's "This Week" that he agreed with the decision to lock down Boston all day Friday, based on information officials had at the time. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama and his gun control allies say Senate rejection of expanded background checks and other restrictions won´t stop their drive to reduce firearms violence. But their path to enacting gun curbs this year seems blocked by the National Rifle Association, and supporters of restrictions appear befuddled about what it will take to push legislation through this Congress. The Senate planned to vote Thursday on two more amendments to a gun control bill. One by Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., would cut aid to state and local governments that release information on gun owners.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
