Bob Schieffer Likens Obama
´Taking on the Gun Lobby´
to Hunt for Bin Laden,
´Defeating the Nazis´

Bob Schieffer somehow topped Chris Matthews during CBS News´s special coverage of President Obama´s gun control press conference on Wednesday, as he became the worst caricature of a foaming-at-the-mouth cheerleader for the chief executive. Schieffer lauded "one of the best speeches I´ve ever heard him [Obama] deliver", and compared Obama´s new gun control agenda to Lyndon Johnson´s push for civil rights legislation in the 1960s. The CBS veteran even went so far to liken the President´s cause to the ten-year hunt for 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden and the difficult endeavor of winning World War II:

# 1 -- it appears that rather than "Brown Nose"... Bob Schieffer of CBS seems to be angling for a "Brown Shirt."

Comparing the "gun lobby" (aka supporters of the 2nd amendment of our United States Constituion) to the Nazis ...is to accuse the 2nd amendment people of what Schieffer and his ilk believe in.

If there was ever a reason to be armed these jackasses prove just why it was written in there. And yes I´m insulted being likened to a Nazi and Osama bin Laden. Jerk!!!

Dear Sirs:

Do you pay any attention at all to what your newscasters say on live TV?

Bob Shieffer just claimed that fight the "gun lobby" is like fighting the Nazis:

"Surely, finding Osama bin Laden; surely, passing civil rights legislation, as Lyndon Johnson was able to do; and before that, surely, defeating the Nazis, was a much more formidable task than taking on the gun lobby."

Who in the hell do you think the "gun lobby" is? The "gun lobby" is 80 million or more United States citizens.

If you knew history at all, you would know that it was the Nazis who started by disarming their people.

What hypocrisy: Bob Schieffer apparently has never bothered to investigate 0bama/Holder´s tragic Fast & Furious policy which enabled Mexico´s barbaric drug gangs to obtain guns from USA dealers and use them in numerous murders?

The Mexican drug barbarians use those guns to kill their own peole and American citizens, including BP Agent Brian Terry. How can Schieffer and the entire lsm continue to ignore 0bama/Big Sis/Holder´s disasterous Fast & Furious policy. Many of those guns are still out there?!!!

...And this same enabling Administration is now targeting law abiding American citizens and the Constitution itself?!! What sense does this make, Schieffer?!

Shun dem pols!

Anger is brewing among service members and veterans groups after the publication of a New York Times op-ed that tries to link veterans and white supremacists. The piece came just days after a 73-year-old white supremacist and veteran, Frazier Glenn Miller, was arrested in an attack that killed three people at a Jewish center in Overland Park, Kansas. In the column, op-ed contributor Kathleen Belew writes: In 2009, the Department of Homeland Security issued a nine-page report detailing the threat of domestic terrorism by the white power movement. Russia and Ukraine struck a deal Thursday to end unrest in eastern Ukraine stoked by pro-Russian militants, Secretary of State John Kerry said.
