‘Fat ass’ Michael Savage
reignites feud with
‘hysteric’ Mark Levin

Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/16/2013 9:20:39 AM

Conservative talkers Mark “the Hysteric” Levin and “fat ass” Michael Savage reignited their longtime feud this week, even though the two share distributors and no longer air during the same time slot. On Monday, Levin made an appearance on the Fox News Channel and called President Barack Obama “the imperial president,” leading Savage to label Levin “the Hysteric” on his show later that evening. Savage said Levin lazily and uncritically stole the phrase “imperial president” from liberals of the 1970s. “The ‘imperial presidency’ was a line used by liberals to describe Nixon,” Savage bellowed.

Comments:
I´m really sorry to see Mr. Levin stoop to this level. He is a brilliant man and we have far more critical things to worry about at this point in time. He should continue to devote his time to how we can correct the major problems we have in this nation rather than participate in name calling aimed at Savage.

A steel cage death match would be fun to watch on Pay per View. I think Levin would kick Savage´s butt. S.E.Cupp and Ann Coulter could be the Ring Girls. Sign me up.

Not real fond of either of them, they sound like cranky 2 year olds.

I´ve been listening to both for a many years and Savage has always been the provocateur. He can´t stand to see someone else become more popular than him. He thinks he´s the smartest man on radio. In fact, he´ll even tell you he is. He constantly reminds people that he has his PHD from Berkeley. However, what I hear when he says that is someone who has low self esteem and a big ego.

He didn´t like when O´Reilly came on the radio and started to call him the Leprechaun. He calls Hannity the Wallbanger because he once worked in construction. Then of course, there´s Rush, who he calls the Golfer. Michael savage is talented and has many fine attributes but getting along in with his peers is not one of them. Maybe he and Hillary Clinton should get together since she thinks she´s the smartest woman in the world.
As for Levin, he should know better than to get into a namecalling contest on the air.

I love Mark Levin and listen on the internet everyday, but drop off when Savage comes on.

Levin has been bashing Savage for years.

Now his is offended by return fire????

Oh, the humanity.

Doesn´t matter what Savage says. He´s a waste of time and I don´t listen to him.

Levin is strong on the law and the government.

Savage goes on and on about petty personal crusades and grievances followed by maudlin tales of personal heroism.

So....the cage fight is the right answer.

Two old fat men enter......

.....one old fat man leaves.

Levin didn´t steal anything from liberals like Savage accuses. He simply applied the term correctly to this President and liberals hate that. Obama is imperial, as well as thin skinned, like it or not libs.

Savage´s Ph.D is in the area of biology I believe. Big whoop. At least Levin has the guts to use his real name on the air. I would put Levin´s education against Savage´s anytime.

I am glad that they are both on the airwaves. I believe there is room for both of them. It is just that Savage´s woe is me everybody hates me routine gets old afterwhile.

Both these guys are great. I only wish there were more hours in the day to listen to them both. I haven´t lost sight that this ´feud´ may in fact be a ´put-on´. Nevertheless, I wouldn´t miss it for the world.

Savage was placed after Levin in my area not long ago.
I listened to him a few times, and decided he knows a "little bit" about a "lot of things"..just enough to make him dangerous.
By contrast, last night Levin educated me about the Founders´ intent in writing the second amendment, and discussed the Federalist Papers in detail.
Thank you Mark Levin.

I admire Mark Levin a lot. He is a man of principle and he puts his principles into meaningful action. I am very sorry to see him wasting even a second on Savage who is a carnival act. Savage is the kind of representative Conservative that Piers Morgan would invite to his show to make his Lefty points.

I believe savage´s education is in nutrition, and he has published a few books on the subject. I cant receive him or levin where I live, but IMHO they should use the airwaves and direct their invectives towards the enemy. The muslim marxist who hates all of us.

Both have their place in the conservative broadcast arena. Levin is consistent in his educated discussion of how our republican form of government was established and is intended to function. Savage is the sledgehammer who occasionally scores brilliant points in his relentless, scorching criticism of liberal ideas - I love pulling into a gas station when he´s on a rant and turning the radio up so that everyone at every pump will have to listen while I fill up. That being said, they both seem so petty when stooping to the level of personal attacks against one another.

Reply 19 - Posted by: laotzu, 1/16/2013 11:28:04 AM     (No. 9119941)

I quit listening to "Savage" for two reasons:

- The interviews with him flatly reading questions spliced in between the pre-recorded answers annoyed the heck out of me. Weird.

- I can´t stand to listen to another syllable from a pompous, coastal, metropolitan, know-it-all without my head exploding. These are the urban types that would sell out conservatism in a heartbeat if it meant more good restaurants in their neighborhood. They are just smart enough to realize progressivism doesn´t work, but have no conservative moral or philosophical grounding because they don´t teach that at the Church of Pragmatism. They are faux-conservatives who thrive in the lifestyle of liberal America. They prefer the libertine over true liberty because they have the affluence to buy the liberty they desire. I count Giuliani among them as well.

I am a big Mark Levin fan, because of his deep knowledge of the constitution and his abiity to speak of and to it to bring it alive for todays world. Yes, Savage, is the provocateur, so I just wish Levin would ignore him. I am discomforted by the nasty responses even though Savage deserves it for starting this feud in his jealousy of Levin.

Please Mark, stick to your intellectual discourse, because you are fabulous and needed in this Obama world of ´imaginary fairness´. Obama is destroying the middle class with his ´fairness´, while he is gradually steeling our meager wealth through taxation and inflation at the same time. We need you, Mark, to speak for us.

For some reason Michael Weiner just doesn´t seem to want to get along with any other Conservative broadcaster. He always name calls Sean Hannity "Harvey Wallbanger" - so what is wrong with someone doing an honest days work in construction when they were starting out? Let Savage use his real name, Michael Weiner and see how far that gets him with other Conservatives he name calls?

The way to prevent abortionists like convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell from occurring again is to build more Planned Parenthood clinics, Rep. House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

What a fantastic talent liberals possess, the ability to talk out of both sides of their mouths. One side utters platitudes about campaign finance reform and the nefarious influence of money in politics, while the other whispers in the ears of oligarchs and plutocrats. One side slanders Republicans as the tools of corporate interests, while the other solicits donations from some of the largest corporations in the world. The next journalist to examine influence peddling on K Street need only walk two blocks south, to H Street.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
