Guns really aren´t the issue here,it´s about Obama setting a prescedent on using exe orders every time he thinks something is too tough to get through congress. i suspect that amnesty is on the short list of what´s next along with reparations and college loan forgiveness. Of course there´s no money for all this but that won´t stop him either. The trillion dollar coins is a trial balloon for now but could very well happen for obama to satisfy his voters.

I agree with Newt, the Repubs should hold their news conference in Chicago, and surround themselves with poor black kids in Englewood (where a lot of our 500 murders last year took place, with handguns too)and say Obambi doesn´t care about these kids.

During the hour or so of President Obamas speech today over 100 innocent children will be murdered without the use of a firearm. For the entire day, in fact every day, 3,000 babies will lose their right to have any kind of life, yet no public tears will be shed for them. I mourn with the Newtown parents and their loss, but even more so for the 1 million babies a year who fade into oblivion without ever getting a chance to draw abreath.

None of the gun proposals to be recommended by Barack Obama today will have prevented a crime like what happened in Newtown. They will only serve to make criminals out of ordinary law abiding citizens.
