| Here is my nomination for the lowest moment of the “fiscal cliff” debate. Right before Christmas, President Obama met with House Speaker John Boehner in the Oval Office. “He told Mr. Boehner,” according to the Wall Street Journal, “that if the sides didn’t reach agreement, he would use his inaugural address and his State of the Union speech to tell the country Republicans were at fault.” Forget Thomas Jefferson’s First Inaugural: “We are all Republicans, we are all Federalists.” Forget Abraham Lincoln’s Second: “With malice toward none.” Obama’s Second Inaugural might drop a few choice one-liners on the elected Republicans

It´s already been said many different times on these threads but worth saying again. The poor saps who vote Democrat are never ever going to understand or accept what their government is doing to them until they are done doing it and it is far too late. We have a completely corrupt system run by power hungry egomaniacs and they were voted into these positions by very stupid people.

Obama´s slanderous and divisive statements towards Republicans grow bolder because the GOP has failed for decades to present an enlightening,uplifting, unified message to the public of what they stand for. They´ve allowed Obama and his hatchet men to create a reprehensibly false image of ALL Republicans.
But worst of all, the GOP allows Obama to malign and abuse everyone in the country who believes in righteousness and the rule of law under the Constitution.

I think it possibly goes even further. There ‘might´ be common knowledge to the effect that any who dare oppose the WH agenda, as well as their extended family members, possibly should have their tax papers in order for a ´random´ audit by the IRS…and possibly background checks that could result in names being added to the ´no-fly´ list.
Chief Justice Roberts comes to mind..

There’s a huge red flag in the Benghazi mess, but conservatives are letting the media get away with using a red herring to avoid it. Give the establishment media credit for obstinacy: Once it settles on a standard narrative or explanation for a particular subject, it shows remarkable discipline in explaining away any evidence that contradicts its own approved spin. So it has been with the media’s 250-day old determination to downplay the scandalous nature of the Obama administration’s treatment of its outpost in Benghazi before, during, and after the terrorist attack there that took four American lives.

We hear a lot, these days, about how President Obama is not like Lyndon Johnson and thanks be to heaven for that small mercy. The point seems to be that the president doesn´t know how to arm twist, sweet talk, bribe, and emasculate both friend and enemy (of which he truly had neither) in order to further his agenda. Since many among the chattering class believe, still, in that agenda, his is generally regarded as an excellent presidency. More whistleblowers will emerge shortly in the escalating Benghazi scandal, according to two former U.S. diplomats who spoke with PJ Media Monday afternoon. These whistleblowers, colleagues of the former diplomats, are currently securing legal counsel because they work in areas not fully protected by the Whistleblower law. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.
