Adam Carolla: Stop Blaming
Others for Your Own Mistakes

Breitbart's Big Hollywood, by Breitbart News

Original Article

Adam Carolla hardly seems the professorial type. The podcast king doesn´t smoke a pipe, wear patches on the elbows of his sports jackets or extol the virtues of socialism. Still, Carolla´s life story offers plenty of lessons for his fellow Americans. After all, he went from being "Not Taco Bell Material" to a New Media trailblazer. Carolla shares some reasons why he evolved beyond a less than idyllic childhood as part of the newest course from Prager University. It´s all about internalization, learning from one´s mistakes without blaming everyone else but you.

Alas, too much common sense for most to grasp. Sad, sad, sad! Easier to be the victim.

his ‘hunt’ mode in seeking assailants

Christopher Mark Heben said it felt like he had been kicked in the gut by a mule when he was shot in a Montrose parking lot, but his Navy SEAL training quickly kicked in. The Granger Township man is recovering from a gunshot wound to the stomach after he was shot Friday outside the Mustard Seed Market in Bath Township. “It was as if someone folded you in half,” Heben, 44, said Wednesday. He was released Tuesday from Akron General Medical Center.

Monday For many years now, I have endured a mild skin disorder, rarely fatal. I usually am monitored by a fine doctor in Rancho Mirage. But I wanted a dermatologist near our home in Beverly Hills, so I asked around and got a reference for a Dr. Wang, as I will call him. (Not his real name.) This afternoon, I entered his tiny waiting room, introduced myself to the young women behind the counter and smiled. The women asked me to fill out several forms, which I did and handed them back.

Adam Carolla contends
low ratings, not gay slur,
ended Alec Baldwin’s MSNBC show
Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor    Original Article

Comedian Adam Carolla speculated Wednesday that actor Alec Baldwin’s departure from MSNBC earlier this week had more to do with poor ratings than his allegedly hurling a homophobic slur at a paparazzi photographer earlier this month. Carolla argued it was more likely MSNBC used those remarks as a convenient excuse for ending a poor-performing program. “Fitzdog, you and I have done enough of this shit to know the first two weeks basically lets you know where the rest is going,” Carolla said on his Wednesday podcast. “They’ll give you the first week just that people coming in — sort of looky-loos, curious,

Media Up the A**
of Obama Administration
Brietbarts Big Hollywood, by Christian Toto    Original Article

Adam Carolla followed the mainstream media´s advice this week and began a dialogue on race relations with his podcast partner Dr. Drew Pinsky. Carolla used the discussion as a springboard to slam the media for its subservience to President Barack Obama and penchant for flaming the flames of racial discontent. "The first thing we need to do is stop the media in its rush to turn everything into a problem of race. They don´t even know how to report sh**," Carolla says during the July 18 edition of The Adam and Dr. Drew Show.

Adam Carolla Compares P.C. Police
to Terrorists, Hostage Takers

Adam Carolla is no stranger to the P.C. police. He simply refuses to hold his hands out so they can slap the cuffs on him. Carolla offered some advice to his fellow comedians during a recent podcast on how to handle the inevitable bruised feelings from pointed punch lines. Don´t give in. Naturally, Carolla leaned on a colorful metaphor or two to hammer home his argument. "These paper tigers who try to knock you down and make you apologize ... they put pressure on you," he said. "What you need to do is not negotiate with terrorists."

Liberal Media Bias:
You´re ´Insane´ Not to
Admit it Exists
Breitbart Big Hollywood, by Christian Toto    Original Article

Adam Carolla knows liberal media bias exists because he´s seen it up close and personal. So when he watches the mainstream press ignore President Barack Obama´s hypocrisy he simply chalks it up to more of the same. Those lessons are starting to rub off on Carolla´s podcast partner, Dr. Drew Pinsky. The two, reunited after spending a decade on the syndicated Loveline radio show, explored how the media reacts to the president´s lavish lifestyle on their most recent installment of The Adam and Dr. Drew Show.

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

President Obama inspired a generation of young people to support his historic election in 2008. And in 2012, despite the struggles of his first term, Mr. Obama still managed to win the support of a full 60% of voters age 18-29. But the man who once dreamed of being a transformative leader in the Reagan mold is inspiring few of those young people to follow his lead. "For all the talk about the movement that elected Mr. Obama, the more notable movement of Obama supporters has been away from politics. It appears that few of the young people who voted

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a
