| Utah businessman Jeremy Johnson, who pled guilty last week to charges of bank fraud and money laundering, is claiming he made a deal in 2010 to pay Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada $600,000 to stop a federal investigation into Johnson´s business. Johnson says his alleged deal with Reid was brokered by John Swallow, a Republican who was sworn in as Utah´s attorney general on January 7, and a fellow businessman from Utah, Richard Rawle. Swallow has denied that he is involved in the deal, in which Rawle would have allegedly used his influence

Harry has to go - go to jail, do not collect $600,000 anymore. They also need to look into his family and how he funnels the money and work to them.

REid may be one of the smartest crooks ever. He knows how the system works. He has very clever methods of collecting the Union cash which is far above the regulated amounts (we are told) and he uses exceptionally clever methods of receiving, moving and holding the illicit cash- He will not be caught up in this at all. Notice that one of the key players is already dead. Reid is very heavily shielded by a huge array of public officials who are profiting by Reid´s ways. Nope. It´s my bet Reid is wearing a triple coat of Teflon on this one. Guilty? Almost certainly! Catchable? Not a chance in H***!

Mr. Reid was probably trying desperately to determine which kickback was being discussed. If enough evidence is presented he will claim Alzheimer’s and anyone that has ever met him will believe.
He and his family have a very corrupt reputation in his home state, and everyone knows with Harry “you have to pay to play” in every situation. The cost depends on favor and how much you want his help.
Someday they will finally send him home and maybe then he can be prosecuted for all the corruption that he is responsible for, but I am sure that the liberals and the DNC will shield him in his senility.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
