| Bill Clinton is a multimillionaire, but you’re paying for the Cinemax in his office. That’s just one eyebrow-raising expense a former occupant of the White House has been allowed to put on the taxpayer tab every year, even though every living ex-president is quite wealthy. In an attempt to shed light on this little-known perk of being a former commander in chief, The Daily Caller — through a Freedom of Information Act request filed last year — has obtained thousands of pages of emails and documents from the government detailing how taxpayer money is spent on former presidents each year.

I´m sure Bush´s oil buddies are paying for his perks,so Clinton and carter are certainly entitled to their tax funded perks.
A liberal will never pass up a free government dollar,no matter how rich theyare personally.
And some crackpot liberal journalist called cutting the FICA holiday out as an austerity measure.
The worst part is Obama´s retirement package will be more over the top than any of this.

You´ve heard me complain about this before, and it´s not related to presidential retirements, but presidential perks. I saw GWB wearing the low cut socks that had the presidential seal woven into them. Heard about the M&M´s on AF-1 that had the presidential seal printed on them. Toothpaste? Know this because we read about the Klintoon guests - or the Klintoons themselves - stealing all the stuff off AF-1 when they had to stop using it. I understand about exclusivity, but come on!

You can talk about Nixon all you want, but he gave up his Secret Service after a few years. Now Obama has signed an order giving him and Clinton etc, SS for the rest of their lives. He will drain us dry even after he has left office if he ever leaves.

BOSTON — A federal judge has ordered Homeland Security officials to release certain immigration records following a newspaper´s 2012 lawsuit. The Boston Globe was seeking names of "convicted criminal aliens" who were not deported after completing their sentences because their homelands wouldn´t take them back. A 2001 Supreme Court decision says people who are set for deportation can´t be detained more than six months when their removal isn´t likely in the near future. The government argued against the release of thousands of names, saying it would be a privacy invasion.
