| Cranford — On the one-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at a Newtown, Conn. school, nearly 20 mayors from New Jersey communities said today they will join their counterparts from across the nation on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., to press Congress for stiffer gun regulations. Here are some great idea for these lame-ax NJ mayors:
1. Employ the same "Stop and Frisk" tactics that were so successful in New York City in bringing down the crime rate and finding illegal guns.
2. Enforce the gun laws that are currently on the books. File charges, no plea-downs.
3. Force the judges to do their jobs and sentence these miscreants to jail time.
4. Use Immigration Law to break up Mexican, Salvadoran, and othe illegals gangs. No more sanctuary cities.
I guarantee this will drastically improve their gun violence problem.

These mayors, apparently all Democrats, will never go after the real culprits who are causing all the criminal insanity by shooting people throughout their communities because those perpetrators and their families are almost all liberal Democrat voters who the mayors rely on to keep them in political power. Its easy for the mayors to attack guns, as guns do not have a vote in those communities and the criminals who are using those illegal guns don´t obey any laws.

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men.
