Obama Demands Quick
Action to Raise Debt Limit

Washington - President Barack Obama demanded on Monday that lawmakers raise the nation´s $16.4 trillion federal debt limit quickly, warning that "Social Security benefits and veterans´ checks will be delayed" if they don´t and cautioning Republicans not to insist on cuts to government spending in exchange. "They will not collect a ransom in exchange for not crashing the economy," he said at the 21st and final news conference of his first term. "The full faith and credit of the United States of America is not a bargaining chip. And they better decide quickly because time is running short."

FTA: "They will not collect a ransom in exchange for not crashing the economy,"

The president gets his ransom AND crashes the economy.

What we should do very quickly is recount the votes.

Since the constitution is so flexible, let´s extend consideration of the
Electoral College´s initial estimate.

As little more than a gummint estimate, it could have been way off.
Seems to many that it was.

Quick recount is in order.
Constitution? Be damned!
Two or more can play the game, Bammy.

Social security checks come from a trust fund, separate from the federal budget.

And President Zero, as a u.s. senator, voted against raising the debt limit.
He said it was treasonous, or some such words.

The direct impact of raising the debt limit (again) is merely rushing up to an even higher cliff before leaping off.

Not all leaders are tyrants, and some resist tyrants. This creep communist is becoming the most hated tyrant since Caesar, and I wouldn´t be surprised if he has his Ides of March moment.

Since the President gets his authority from the Constitution, and when he violates his authority with illegal actions and demands, he betrays the trust of the American people, and becomes their enemy. I don´t think they can protect him or his cabal from a free people.

How did Nero end? Mussolini? Hitler? Stalin? Mao? Castro? Chavez? The modern tyrants all disarmed their people.

Why doesn´t he ever say that welfare checks, EBT cards, and Section 8 housing vouchers would be delayed?

Obama called it a leadership failure. Of course then the debt was at 8.6 trillion, now that it´s 16.5 trillion it´s your patriotic duty. "If Obama says it, it must be very right."

Why doesn´t he write a check from his personal account temporarily? We the people will pay back the amount when we have it.

Too many hours of being fed communist ideas, socialist rhetoric all the while sucking on the silver spoon in your mouth.

#4, was that algorezero´s Lock Box... ?

No funds for Social Security have ever been saved in any way.
They´ve all been spent as we go.
Recipients get theirs.
The rest is always spent on the general budget, very conveniently for liberoids.

Only IOU´s have been thrown in a drawer for later reference.
Once the drawdown begins, funds have to come from taxes.
Nothing has ever been saved.
It´s always all been spent each year.

Text algorezero at his iGloo for confirmation...
There´s no doubt that...

Obe there has been no budget for 4 years and now you fail again. If there is no budget no bills can be paid and by law SS and VA military pay checks are not bills and are off the table. when trying to decide which payments will not be paid remember owners eat dirt when money runs out therefore since you think you are the nation´s owners you the critters czars and all other fed bosses must forgo salary and wages.

Of course the butt-boy press never says anything about Obama´s dictatorial tone or parisanship. Were a Republican pulling this stunt, we´d hear cries of Hilter, etc. Republicans are always partisan, never willing to work with the other side at compromise, according to the butt-boy press. Michelle Obama has been capitalizing on her status as a descendant of slaves. Her latest junket to Ireland shows she is definitely enjoying the 21st-century benefits of the transatlantic slave trade her radical friends in Chicago refer to as "genocide" by white Americans. According to the First Couple´s pals, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Rahm Emanuel, and Dr. Conrad W. Worrill of Northeastern University, white Americans should monetarily compensate black Americans for past slavery.

The latest polls show that President Obama´s approval ratings are in free fall like a hot air balloon with the fire extinguished; his approval rating has declined eight percentage points over the past month. CNN reporter Chris Cuomo described the decline as "dropping like a stone." Lara Brown of U.S. News and World Report, declared, "The Obama presidency becomes more Grant than Lincoln every day." Even his standing as a "leader" has shown a six-percentage-point drop among those who think he is a decisive and strong leader. Worse, CNN reports that half of the public no longer trust the president

I have always believed that regardless of the laws of a nation, the social fabric that binds it is woven of mutual trust between the people and their private and governmental institutions. Once that fabric is weakened, the dangers to an ordered society are extreme. This week, the holes in the U.S. social fabric are manifest, and they are caused by the administration´s ever-expanding lawlessness.. The statements by the high-tech self-exile Snowden set off alarms even among those who are willing to repose their confidence in the general integrity of our intelligence services.

Greg Gutfeld opened the June 6th broadcast of The Five by talking about the IRS scandal and asking "What can we do as Americans right now? This seems like a golden opportunity to go after a bloated bureaucracy, clean it out and create something." The answer is to spark a national protest demanding limited government by doing 3 things: First, unhide our taxes. Even the 47% who don´t pay federal income tax pay taxes. During the 2012 Presidential campaign, Mitt Romney said "There are 47% of the people who will vote for the president, no matter what..."

With serious and demonstrable charges of administration wrongdoing popping up every day, conservatives are rightfully angry at the desultory treatment they get from the media. At Just One Minute, the poster known as "daddy" summarizes that feeling well: Worth mentioning how the NY Times and the WaPo and Andrea Mitchell and ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN etc, were all so interested in Sarah Palin´s Emails, that they recruited volunteers across the nation to help them pore thru them. Eric Holder -- Obama´s Attorney General -- should be impeached by the Republican House of Representatives. Without a doubt, Holder´s obvious perjury in lying to Congress is the most serious offense. But to understand one of Holder´s underlying offenses (in a long string), one must know the difference between "good law" and "bad law." Under the letter of the law, the search warrant for Fox News reporter James Rosen´s emails appears proper. But the Attorney General defied U.S. Supreme Court precedents.

As the late Senator Daniel Moynihan reportedly said, "[e]veryone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." The commentary on the George Zimmerman case, I´ve noticed, gets edgy when those who know the facts argue with those who venture opinions. The facts that follow are the ones with which both the defense and the prosecutor must contend. Late Sunday night, February 26, 2012, George Zimmerman sat down in front of Sanford Police Department (SPD) detectives and wrote out in longhand his own account of the shocking incident that had just left him rattled and bloody.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
