Dogs are getting smarter and smarter with each generation, just talk to them, they get it! We have lots of dogs (live in the country) and even though they hang out with each other, they come alive if any of us walk out of our homes. Dogs are cool!

Sixty years ago my parents got me a Cocker Spaniel puppy. He was with us for ten years. Initially he was a lot smarter than I was. Eventually I overtook him. Still maintain he was the smartest dog I ever saw.

I saw this yesterday on The Blaze. I watched it a few times because it was just too cute. Then my son and his fiance stopped by and we watched it together. What fun watching the older pup tutoring the youngster in the art of stair climbing. Thanks for posting so everyone can enjoy.

Our previous house had a spiral staircase which two puppies figured out eventually. They did freak out, however the first time they were confronted with a regular staircase.
Hey, #1 how many dogs do you have? We live in the country too and have nine, which is crazy and we are aware of that fact. We keep waiting for "Animal Hoarders" to contact us.

I´m convinced my dog knows what I´m telling her - she chooses whether to do it or pretend she has no idea what I´m saying.

I saw this the other day on a Facebook post. It´s the best. Especially because it seems the older dog jumps in to help before he´s told to.
And the one woman who says "I think I´m going to cry!" I´m sure I would have been in tears if I´d been there while it was happening.
I love my doggies irrationally.

Our rescue dog looks and behaves exactly like the older puppy in the video, but unlike that puppy, she only "looks like" a lab mix. We were curious about what breeds went into making our little girl so sweet and intelligent, and were especially curious about why she doesn´t have doggie odor. Se we got a canine DNA test and sent in her DNA for some answers. The results came back showing she´s chow chow, red tick hound, and Vizsla.
It´s the Vizsla (as in Dana Perino´s beloved "Jasper") that accounts for our little girl´s lack of doggie odor, and undoubtedly some of her sweetness.
Americans may be stuck with the constantly judgmental Obama, Harry and Nancy. But they can still put something good and innocent into their own lives...and save a life while they´re at it. Consider visiting a local shelter, Ldotters! Dogs really can make your world a better, happier, and often funnier place.

Awwww. So sweet. Almost as cute as my gentle and much bigger terrier-mix playing "keep away" with the Yorkie´s favorite toy. She always gives it back if the Yorkie doesn´t want to play.

The Congressional Budget Office released its analysis of the Gang of Eight’s immigration proposal today, and spinning is in full swing. The fact is, however, that the basic facts can’t be spun: the bill is a disaster. As with Obamacare, the Gang structured its bill to make it “score” artificially well from a budget perspective. They did this by delaying the newly legalized immigrants’ eligibility for most federal welfare benefits for ten years, which takes those benefits outside of the ten-year window that is scored by the CBO. But that cosmetic shift did little to conceal the plan’s baleful effects.

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria.
