TAYLOR, Mich. - A chaotic scene erupted at the Taylor Human Services Center when the crowd waiting for a Section 8 Housing voucher distribution got out of control. The center is located at Eureka and Lange Roads. That´s between on Eureka, between Beech Daly and Inkster. Police say thousands of people from all over the area were at the center. Many were homeless, single moms, or disabled. They were hoping to get help paying for their housing from the government. 7 Action News is being told there were 1,000 vouchers available and 5,000 people showed up trying to get one.

5000 show up for free housing. Wonder how many of them would show up for a job interview?

Drudge has video with the story. Not all the people were black, one black lady said she came last night after work, apparently many of the people were elderly and/or disabled. I´m sure it was young Obama voters who caused the disturbance, but rather than show their innate violence it shows more the incompetence of the government in the way this was planned. Take care of the elderly and the genuinely disabled first next time, then let the parasites have what´s left.

No one is making fun of genuine disabled.
They are mocking a government that is fostering dependency impossible to support.
Single moms -especially the Baby Mammas- are being preyed upon by irresponsible males and a dem Party that wants to keep them dependent upon the government. Julia.
As to the women with the oxygen tent- shouldn´t she have an appointment for housing?
A cattle call is no way to distribute housing- it should be based upon age, health and need.

Judge Judy does cases from time to time where the plaintiff is receiving section 8 housing, and is suing various individuals for for non payment of rent. (section 8 pays the rent directly to the landlord. And it is illegal to rent out rooms in section 8 housing.)
And Judge Judy gives an angry lecture to the plaintiff, under these circumstances, explaining that she (usually) is stealing money from the taxpayers.
Other cases will have the defendant boyfriend being sued for various bills. Same deal.. illegal.

The great recession (and number of under-employed lawyers) has increased the number of ´disabled´ dramatically.

Do the vouchers come with Obamaphones?

They should screen them by how many times they voted for BO in the last election.

Voted only once? Back of the line. Voted two times, next to the back. Runners up for top spot could be sorted by things like whether they used one or more names and how many precincts.

So if you voted for BO 7 times using 3 names it counts less than voting 7 times using 2 name ´cuz that´s a waste of non-maxxed names.
Runners up could get parole credits for their next crimes etc.

Of course they rioted. They voted for NØbama with the understanding that they would keep on getting all the free stuff they wanted.

How dare NØbama not personally assure that there were enough free apartments (with free big screen TV´s, free cable, free electricity, free food delivered daily, free home visits by NØbamacare doctors, etc, etc, etc).

By God (or NØbama their true messiah), they DESERVE the free stuff!!! They ´´earned it´´ by being born here and being loyal Demon-RAT voters!!!!!

The population in MI is what you think it is, but let´s not be so cynical. We are suppose to be Christians.

There is a new poverty in this country like we have not seen for many years.

Some days I visit a prayer site and the situation in this country is bad. There are many praying for jobs, any job, or praying they aren´t laid off, or they can´t keep their small business open any longer. Others are in fear of being homeless because they can´t pay increasing rent or being foreclosed. They have used up all of their resounces for medical bills and/or basic needs. Many can´t afford to repair their vehicles to drive to work because they have been unemployed for so long. Some have to live with relatives that have no room for them. It´s very sad reading those annonomous prayers. They aren´t asking for handouts online.

The elderly and disabled cannot manage on Social Security anymore with increased costs of everything. Unfortunately, single mothers move to the first of the line- just because.

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

The President is no economic illiterate, despite what conservatives think. He understands basic macroeconomics just fine, thank you – but with a twist. Mainstream Democrats worship at the altar of the New Deal. It’s an article of faith that massive government spending pulled America out of the Great Depression. (With all respect to Paul Krugman, the truth is more complicated, but that’s not within the scope of this article.)The president’s view of spending, deficits and debt is not merely Keynesian theory run amok. Its origins and objectives are far more terrifying. Where the traditional Democratic playbook for economic downturns was provided

WASHINGTON — About the only thing former President Ronald Reagan doesn´t have named after him is a mountain, not one recognized by the federal government anyway.(snip)Rep. Jared Huffman, D-Calif., said he thought DeFazio´s amendment was "terrific" but wanted to take it a step further and name the planet after Reagan. A majority of Americans believe that President Barack Obama’s signature health care law will be repealed. A new Rasmussen Reports poll found that 62 percent of likely voters believe that Republicans will repeal Obamacare, which recently marked its fourth anniversary. Only 23 percent of those polled believe that the health care law has been a success, compared to 46 percent who describe the law as a failure. Louisiana Gov. When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'
