| A new Justice Department study looking at violent crimes committed against “youth”—defined as Americans from 12 to 17 years of age—discovered that the rate of "serious violent crime" committed against youth by a perpetrator using a firearm dropped 95 percent from 1994 to 2010. The study—“Violent Crime Against Youth, 1994-2010”--also discovered that American youth who were victims of a serious violent crime in 2010 were six times more likely to have been attacked by a perpetrator wielding a knife than one wielding a gun. What is surprising is that Holder even allowed these stats to be released. It sure doesn´t help their cause. It does seem surprising considering what is going on in Chicago.

When mom sits in jail along side those kids, it will be a real deterrent.
If they stopped rewarding women for having kids out of wedlock, maybe it would
slow down the feral kids from commiting crimes.

Don´t get too excited. Read the last line. The Census folks ´interviewed´ 73,000 12 - 17 year olds for the study. Kids this age are notorious for not telling the truth in surveys.
Had this information been gleaned from actual crime reports, it would be a lot more believable.

Whether the survey is credible or not, I read an interesting statistic yesterday. It compared the violent crime rate in the UK to America´s. Result? The rate of the "gun free country" was 4X ours.

Something they never mention in articles like this one: throughout history, most violent crimes are committed by males aged 15 to 25. Easy access to abortion has reduced the number of "males aged 15 to 25" by almost exactly the same percentage as the lowering of the crime rate. Quelle surprise!!
Another point on the demographics in these statistics, being a "single parent" is an indicator of poverty, for a significant number of women, getting divorced is an automatic lowering of their standard of living. So, not pointed out, but one can surmise, the American youth was 3.8 times more likely to become the victim living with a single parent (poorer neighborhood) rather than youth living with married parents in safer (richer) neighborhoods.

We now know that the Justice Department kept exceptionally close tabs on Fox News reporter James Rosen in 2010, following his trips in and out of the State Department, hacking his personal emails and phone calls. Normal newsgathering activities are being treated as criminal activities by the White House. But consider what the same White House had to say about Fox News back in 2009. You might remember the concerted effort by White House officials to brand the right-leaning Fox News as a bogus news outlet, unworthy of attention.

Michael Steinbach, former head of the FBI’s counterterrorism division and now special agent in charge of Miami, told over 30 congressional staffers in March of 2012 that, contrary to the White House´s classification, the bureau does not refer to the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence." Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?"
